@@avikde9631 single player games can be easily played at 30 fps with a bit of motion blur... that's how every game was played on console a few years ago
The Witcher 3 was LITERALLY a world that you get immersed and lost in. The music, the atmosphere, the characters, the natural play of events and side content. Sometiems I forgot I was playing a video game. W3 will always have a special place in my heart.
During covid lockdown I read all withcher books and then played all the games. It took me a year, and it was amazing. I didn't care I can't go anywhere at all
I'm telling you - Nature is the greatest therapist. Move outside - places like this exist. Use headphones while listening to such music and explore nature.
Will you give me money my friend ? Anyone can tell anything for freely you know, I mean who wouldn't like to explore the nature ? But that doesn't necessarily means we have to stay away from video games and shits
There is something about this game i cannot explain geralt stars his journey alone without anyone's help for his search for ciri and this journey is not about finding ciri but also about geralt finding himself amongst all the chaos over the lands throughout his journey his search for ciri was just a temporary objective but the whole picture was bigger than that..there were ups and downs many life experiences we and as geralt got to experience such a great story
Skellige is by far my favorite place to just roam around and so much of it is how perfectly the music compliments the terrain to create a beautiful atmosphere.
I always say that the witcher 3 world is a place i escape in it from life pressure and proplems..it is bring me relief like no other thing..i think that me and everyone played this game and dived in it's world ,will always be thankful for this masterpiece ..Best game ever 🖤
I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Especially the Priscilla singing Wolven Storm scene. I cannot put into words the emotions I am feeling right now.
Honestly I can't lie, after a couple of seconds I just sighed and felt my shoulders relax, a headache I've been nursing cleared away for a few seconds and I was just happy. For me this song's doubly special because not only does it give nostalgia of playing the Witcher 3 for the first time 7/8 years ago, but also because this song was used in the original Medieval Total War as well (the song itself is about 250 years old). I still remember being a young kid going to my friends house and watching one of them play MTW; he was older than me so I had no clue how the game mechanics worked but I just remember hearing this song as he played it and just being mesmerised. Captivated me in 2002, gave a sense of relief from the dreariness of Velen in 2016/17 and has been giving me nostalgia for both ever since.
I don’t know if it’s the beautiful sights and sounds, the music or Geralt as a character himself but this is probably the only game I have played within the last 9 years that has been able to soothe my anxiety and escape the hole of depression when I play it.
What’s why you just play in the best game about story and atmosphere and musical accompaniment, and graphics ever for the whole last nine years! I can understand you. If i can, i would be playing in the “Witcher 3”, walking on the outside, maybe park, nearby river and in the forest, training my mind and body, eat healthy and tasty food and bring to this world something special, useful and beautiful! May the force be with you, good man from internet 🙏😌😊
When i played witcher 3 for the first time, i spent HOURS just marveling at Beauclaire, looking at the buildings, entering them, walking the streets, seeing what the NPCs were up to, and then i just rode my roach away slowly and looked at the fields, and the people also working there... If this game was first person i would've never stopped hahah
One of my favorite moments in this game, I had Geralt in one of the sailing boats just going from one island in Skellige to another and this song was playing in the background. And you know what? It was one of the most peaceful moments in the game that I had and still one of my favorite times playing the game as well.
Games have so much power in helping with mental health. It is so underrated. I have chills everytime I listen to this Skellige theme. Brings back so much joy and good memories from 2015…it is like I lived this game in first person, like I was Geralt myself
Witcher 3s soundtrack really is therapeutic. Farewell old friend is a song im always going back to. Actually kinda ironic this showed up in my feed. Shortly after witcher 3 came out my dog died which sparked my love for the soundtrack, more particularly farewell old friend. Just buried another dog, and now here we are several yrs later. Full circle lol
CDPR knows Witcher, it’s going to put everything else to shame imo, and probably be the standard bearer for a while once it releases, along with GTA VI to a lesser degree.
I literally filed a warranty claim for my Xbox One back in 2016 in order to exchange it for one with a quieter fan just so I could enjoy the waterfalls of Skellige and my surround sound system more therapeutically. I was upfront with Microsoft about everything I just wrote and they were 100% understanding and exchanged my xbox for a quieter one no problem :)
when I read Eragon by Paolini I liked it how you say here. Therapy or German mountains is all cheese. A very long walk in wild and a glass of water after that, is the simplest way. Urban, rural anything. And digital vacation for 3 days every few months.
Escapism isn't a substitute for therapy, regardless of how spectacular Geralt's hair is. If you cannot afford therapy but can afford videogames, you can also afford books and content on mental health. Don't play yourself, face yourself - get familiar with your emotions, sit with the negative and process it.
Ah man.. It was and still is a VERY nice game. I had so much fun with it. Just walking around.. Sadly I can't replay games once I finished them. They lose their charme after finishing them. I know everything after finishing it. Its not fun replaying it for me. But I still know, its a good game. The music takes me back instantly. Just like many of the early Final Fantasy games.. They take me back in time with just their music too. Remembering how I played it as a child. Together with my old childhood friend, who sadly died in a ravioli dose.
I view gaming as a form of meditation. It gets your mind "outta here" for a certain period of time. It's cheaper than drugs or therapy, and probably more beneficial truthfully.
That's why you destroy your life even more and you run from reality in a virtual one thwt will melt your brain even more because you will find peace in a game and still need help in the real world... save yourself man, go in the real nature !!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That exact area is my favorite place in the game coupled with the Ard Skellig OST. Maybe I'm biased cause I also live in an archipelagic nation. 😂 It's so tranquil and peaceful. Followed by the idyllic Toussaint.
The Witcher has nothing to envy of games like Red Dead and Zelda, not even the new releases thanks to the next-gen update that gave it a spectacular facelift
Playing Ghost of Tsushima, although music is not nearly as good as this GOAT, the treversal in the game with the scenery does remind of Witcher 3. Now I wanna play it again.

Surely running The Witcher 3 with these graphics is like a year worth of therapy
It really isn't.
a year is about 5,2k
Not even, I used to run witcher 3 with mods on gtx 1070 and i5 6600k. which costs next to nothing these days.

YES the thing I miss most about living near the rockies...
Unfortunately nature like this doesn't exist anywhere near me. I'd have to move 1000 miles to get there and obviously wouldn't be able to stay long.
Still expensive for a lot of people.
