Solid shoe! Apparently the entire upper is treated and water resistant (even the nubuck/suede). I saw another video where another reviewer poured water on the nubuck and it rolled off. I definitely don’t think it’s intended to handle as much as the Gortex collaborations, but it’s definitely not a shoe where you’ll have to stress if you wear them in the rain or through some light snow. Great review as always.
Best sneaker review channel, hands down. I really like 8s, and I already have these. I also noticed the lack of waterproofness, soI will just spray them. Keep up with the good work. Greetings from Canada.
not a bad pair, i could wear these in the work industry like amazon because they are black enough and 8s are pretty comfy and anything winterized is always more comfortable\

I remember back in 2010 I worked at foot action and they had a "winterized" Jordan 3 or spizike I forgot which one. It was all black ,but actually came with a steel or composite toe! I have been waiting for them to do that again so I can use them at work.
I just bought the last pair in the store (size 10). This is a beautiful shoe in person and I can’t wait to have a reason to step out in them 😎

But any chance we gonna get a review on the midnight navy 3's? Im still wondering if i want to grab them or the Fear's. Not riding the hype train as i wear all of my purchases, just wear what i like and what is comfortable on me. Like nobody wears 2's and i think them and the 13's are very comfortable! My wife loves the off nior 3's.

Simpler 2023 version of winterized 6 rings is really nice as well, a mix of AJ11 & AJ6. May even be better than AJ6 Gore-Tex and is better priced.

Huh, I might actually pick these up. I like these weird winterized one offs. Still got a winterized Spizike in the closet somewhere from like 2010? 2011? And I don't even like the Spizike usually! But the boot looks dope.

I was confused by the (lack of) description around the winterization too, so I asked a Nike rep on the app and he said the uppers are water resistant, though not waterproof.

These are my first pair of 8’s because I wasn’t able to get the playoffs, they feel like boots, I don’t know how anyone plays in these but I’m small maybe bigger guys don’t feel it, I shot around in them this morning I felt “heavy on my feet” I’ll wear them as winter boots then

I think the only “winterized” features are the cloth heal lining and the durable strap material

the 12s were fully made of that same material as the outer straps on these. however, I though the 12s would be waterproof but they sure ain't. 1 step in snow and my socks got wet... So they are purely designed to keep your feet warm and indeed, the 12s do as well. Getting wet feet from them either way I guess....
Dang well that sucked, I just got my Winterized 12 for the winters in the north.
They should have made a composite toe version like they did Air max 90 surplus. I wear those bad boys to work all the time.

These aren’t bad but I just don’t understand why jordan brand doesn’t just release OG or sought after colorways on their models that haven’t been released in like 8 plus years. Especially models like the jordan 8 or 11 that only sees like 1 or 2 drops a year. Like why not release the chrome 8s or gamma 11s. Instead they release these “winterized” 8s or space jam 11 lows that literally no one is asking for. Straight to the outlets with these 😤
