I like to hear them talk about shoes and the stories behind them but they have far been surpassed as reviewers
I always remember my brother went and tried to buy just the 11s by themselves and footlocker wouldn’t sell them separately. Luckily there was another guy there trying to do the same thing but he wanted the 6s so they put their money together to buy the pack. Good times!

I love your channel. I think these are the second best AJ11 after Concords. Glad they have all leather options for the material.
The leather upper is what sells it for me. Definitely getting them.
Been waiting for this release for a while. I definitely like this release more than the 2006 pair. Loving the leather upper, the mesh upper was a dirt magnet! I'm hoping to grab a pair of these via the shock drop, or the December 9th release date. Thanks for another dope review from Weartesters!
Just got my pair, they were sitting. I like this pair more than the Concord honestly, it has the milky outsole, which I prefer over the icy outsole (icy outsole does not age well), the leather is easier to clean than the mesh.

still remember being in highschool & one of these kids had dmp 6's on. still helped me get into jays lol
My Jordan 11 grail has always been the DMP 11 because of the replacement of the Concord for the gold. When the 72-10s came out, (which is also one of my top favorites) I fell in love with the leather panels instead of the mesh so these are a perfect blend and I love this rendition. i cant wait for mine to come in the mail.
update: mine came in the mail and they're amazing. no real complaints at all. a nitpick that I noticed was the way they stitched the front and back of the upper together. I remember years ago they updated that technique and made that transition more seamless. I feel like that and the widow peaks on retros are those small details that make them close to originals but at the same time they could of kept the newer techniques and they would be fine. hopefully JB never tries to make a retro with the old Jumpman stitching file with the crack to be more accurate lol

I know some people want OG releases exactly like they were, but speaking for myself as a collector for over 35 years, having had so many different Jordans, having a pair that feels OG but with elevated materials is exactly what I want. If I got a classic muscle car, I'd want better seats, a updated sound system and a better engine than the original if i could. Why not with shoes. I would have liked black jumpman and white numbers, but these are damn near perfect.
I definitely been cooling out with my sneaker purchases but these need a double up. Concord 11's my favorite Jordan and I missed out on those last time so these make up for that. Look at the shape!! *Chefs kiss*. I like the added leather instead of mesh. Easier to keep clean

@WearTesters I love the channel and your perspective on kicks. I like some of the more in depth details from you and your spouse in your recent uploads. However, as an OG I dont like these. No ballistic mesh and the outsole has that dull look. It needs to be icy! I love 11s and I think they messed up on these.

The leather upper is the big reason I like these. Feel comfortable knowing I can wear these and not sweat trying to not mess them up like my mesh concords
Great review as always. J11 is my favourite Jordan ever, and I really liked my cool grey 11 because of the leather upper, fit feels nice. This will be my last cop of the year, hope to get a W.

i actually like concord after i paid resell for bred, and i cop this one instead of paying resell for concord and with it i ended my collection for good as im getting old and need to save for my future

I love Concords, they’re my favorite 11 but it’s a pain in the ass to keep them clean, so even though mine don’t look that bad I prefer these a lot more and they even look more luxurious and finally I can get the DMP without being a pack properly

Once again, as always, another excellent overall video review. Thank you and, as always, very much appreciated. I have been on the fence about this model but, seriously like the leather upper on them thus, I will HOPEFULLY pick up one pair maybe two. With this retro, with the already slightly yellow or cream tinted soles, I won't have to be so OCD about the soles yellowing. But, to all the fans of this retro, good luck on obtaining a pair and hopefully at retail. Would be interesting if Jordan Brand released an Air Jordan XI 11 in the original playoff colorway with a black leather upper. I would definitely be in for that. Wouldn't have mind if they released the Air Jordan XI 11 "Cap and Gown" with a black leather upper.
Update. Through some holiday time of the year miracle, I was actually fortunate enough to be able to purchase a pair from today's Nike SNKRS "shock drop".
That box is a super nice ode to the original DMP box. Had the pull out hole so you could choose either the 11's or the 6''s.
Still have my DMPS pack from 2008&2009. I was living in Colorado springs and working in the mall. Footlocker was a few stores down. I went to get a pair and they told me they weren't selling because people said the box was to big smh. So they let me get 4 super cheap 🙏🔥
You’re right, these are better than the original DMP; and I personally think they are equal to the original Concords. Such a gorgeous looking sneaker with the leather and gold hits. Really, an elevated look. Definitely 2 pairs for me. ❤️

The people saying these are on the same level as the Concords are on some serious crac! I mean many consider the concords as the greatest 11 of all time. The concords blow these put of the water!
