YES! Halloween is the very favorite holiday of my very favorite singers, VoicePlay and Geoff. You might go through their old catalog and pick one or two (or 10😊).
Yes, by all means. You must include 2 versions of Hide and Seek. The one by VP and the other by Bass Gang. They both ft Lauren Paley, both excellent, but couldn't be more different in execution. PattyCake Production, run by Layne Stein and Tony Wakim, former baritone of VP has an excellent video called Bump In The Night as well.
In VoicePlay's cover of Valhalla Calling, I have been told he hits a few B0s. In Aint No Sunshine his acting shows all the feels. Looks like he just got home from work to a mostly empty house and she took his dog. This one is so fun. He let his inner Elvis out. He said it took him about 80 takes to figure out how to hit the C1. This is also the one where he named his clones on their name tags. Goff, Jeoph, and Jeff. He didn't add Daryl till Ghost Riders In The Sky. In THE RAINS OF CASTAMERE, he is all the Lannisters. L to R son Tyrion, grandson Joffery Baratheon with his evil smirk, Patriarch Tywin Lannister on the Iron Throne, and son Jaime is those tight leather britches. Piano isn't the only instrument he can play. This was last year's New Year's Eve song. A 1940s Mills Brothers song. He bought that piano just for this song for that certain sound.
Geoff and Layne - and occasionally Eli, are phenomenal arrangers. They know just how to tug at the heartstrings. I didn't know Way Down previously, despite being a long time Elvis fan, but it was his recording before he died. Geoff had such fun with that one. The names of his clones are some of the ways reactors pronounce his name. I haven't watched GOT either. :) I just know that the changing places represent the different family members fighting over the throne. Till then is an old song from 1944, the year I was born as well. It tells the story of a soldier overseas, writing home. Geoff said he was aiming for the sound of a bear singing a lullaby. :) That's Geoff. I loved this reaction. Thanks
Ain't No Sunshine - that's when I realized what a great actor Geoff is! Way Down - he wanted to hit the same C1 that was done in the original (not by Elvis) Rains of Castamere - never saw the show, never heard the song. I understand that it was only sung twice, maybe three times at weddings. Till Then - he said he was going for the sound of a grizzly beat singing a lullaby. Originally by the Mills Brothers about 1944, from the aspect of a WWII soldier hoping his girl will wait for him to come home. Love your reactions to Geoff and to Voiceplay, can't wait for more!!
Geoff certainly is showing off his versatility in these videos. So different styles. Makes it hard to choose favourites, it's just to embrace them all.❤
Yes please, I appreciate your insights in Geoff's art really a lot! ...btw. I wouldn't 'Game of Thrones' call a classic. And a big THANK YOU for the much time you spent on doing reactions in a row!
Ain't No Sunshine is the first video I ever saw of Geoff and immediately joined his Patreon. Way Down is where he named 3 of his 4 Geoffs.... Jeff, Jeoph and Goff. Ghost Riders In The Sky is when Daryl got his name. Each has their own personality as well. Rains of Castemere is my ultimate favorite of his. I listen to it a lot on my sleep headphones on loop when I'm laying down to relax or go to sleep. I love his voice. It's so beautiful. And his personality is amazing. He, Voiceplay and Pattycake Productions are all working on their Halloween videos. Geoff is collaborating with Pattycake this year. He will be lead and a few other characters. So he is pretty busy with 3 videos and several minis/shorts.
That is the one. I saw Bill Withers live when he was bringing Blood Sweat and Tears on to the stage. He started off with this one. Way Down shows a whole new side of Geoff - love it. Oh yeah, Rains of Castamere. Tony Wakim and Layne bought Pattycake Productions and found the throne of swords in a storage area. Til Then, the Mills Brothers did the song back in the 50s but they weren't the first just the most popular group that sang it. It was written during WW2 from the perspective of a soldier going to war and asking his love to wait for him. Loved the extra songs. Thanks!
There is certainly enough material. Consider checking out The Bass Gang's version of "Ding Dong" with Lauren Paley and Marwan Ayman's version of "Grim Grinning Ghosts."
Ain't no sunshine bill withers way down elvis presley the rains of castamere Ramin Djawadi and Serj Tankian till then Song by The Mills Brothers i think you should save ghost riders in the sky for october 31
What do y'all think of me doing a month of Halloween reactions?
Voice Play and Geoff have the best Halloween covers on the internet!!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. A little scare is always fun.
Sounda like a lot of fun.

Elvis sang the original, but his bass singer JD Sumner sang the C1

My favorite Geoff song is the Ain't No Sunshine cover. Glad you're back doing reactions more often again, keep it up if you can. 👍
This was fun seeing a whole bunch in a row!
There is certainly enough material. Consider checking out The Bass Gang's version of "Ding Dong" with Lauren Paley and Marwan Ayman's version of "Grim Grinning Ghosts."
Voiceplay and Geoff has better versions than Bass Gang
That is a matter of taste and opinion, not fact.
Voice Play all the way.❤
