    I would mention mention Cleer Audio Arc also. Probably one of the first premium open air headphones released two years ago and now updated to the version II.

    Thanks Gamesky! The the time between recharging looks very good. Do they have and Hi Res codex? Not so important for open ear but one or two brands still have it.

    I have exactly this ear phone and I like it very much, good sound quality, comfortable for long time use. Only an issue is that the Focus Mode usually drop. I don’t know if will be solved this issue by future software update

    Have both Open Fit and OWS Pro for me & my wife. Actually love them both (I mean Open Fit & my wife)
    Vote for Open Fit for 2 reason
    1. OWS Pro has poor microphone. I always hesitate to pick up a phone call.
    2. OWS Pro has -2 less bass, +1 clearer mid and -2 less treble compared to Open Fit.
    If you plan to get OWS Pro, you will get:
    1. Better look
    2. Better battery & charging case
    Wearing, I vote for OWS Pro while my wife vote goes Open Fit. Literally, it's depend.

    Great review as always, Keith. :)
    Unfortunately, I think these fall into the category of features added on to bump up the price. I mean, I guesss it's good that these have *some* noise cancellation, but a) the entire design of the earbuds are working *against* noise cancellation, and b) I don't see why you'd get these if you *wanted* noise cancellation. Open ear earbuds aren't even going to give you good sound isolation, let alone noise cancellation. And as you say, IPX4 on a pair of earbuds you're supposed to be able to use outside seems a little weird. And "Because of the design" is a caveat in so many areas that I think it just adds up. These earbuds seem at war with themselves.
    For the price of these, you could buy some pretty good open ear earbuds *and* some pretty good noise cancellation earbuds.
    The sound quality on phone calls sounds pretty good, though.

    I think for a product like this, it needs at least an IPX6, especially for the price. They do look sharp

    Your review was great as always. However, for the price, I think I will stick with the Tozo open buds.

    I purchsed this previously but returned it for the soundcore aerofit pro. For the money you're paying, the sound isn't much better. What's worse is the there is a discernible hissing and static sound that detracts from quieter songs. This audio artifact has been present since the first oladance earphones (which was the first open earphones I owned) and was even worse in its more premium version. The firmware update did nothing to fix it except to deactivate the speakers when audio is paused. When media is played again, I could make out the slight hissing and static noise in quieter songs. Overall, I was very disappointed with ola dance on this release. Not only was their original audio problem still present, it sounded worse in a more premium package. The only good thing I can say is that these are the best looking open earphones in the market right now, but if they can't deliver clean sound what good is visual aesthetic?

      I just lost my alodance ows v1 and now looking for the replacement, do you think soundcore aerofit pro sounds better and fits more comfortable than the oladance ows?

    • @gtbigdog3507
      @gtbigdog3507 4 місяці тому

      They are no where near as good as the Tozo open buds and those are $50

    • @joshetham
      @joshetham 4 місяці тому

      @@jakasep8848 the aerofit pro's sound quality will depend greatly on your ear size and profile. Although they have among the best sound, since my ears are bigger than average, the earphones sound more distant and less loud because the speakers are hanging higher from the ear canal. If I push them down, I do get very good sound. Maybe I should have traded them in earlier but I just learn to live with the quieter sound by turning up the volume (to 80-90%). I'm looking to try the updated soundpeats GoFree2, the one that Gamesky reviewed a week ago (not the confusingly and similarly named older GoFree2 although they both look similar outwardly), since with the promotion going on now it's only ~$40, way cheaper than my Aerofits. I've also heard good things about TOZO, as the gentleman above claims. So in conclusion, how open ear earphones sound will depend greatly on the shape of your ears. It's a trial and error thing. Alternatively, if you could wait one more year, one more and shokz will release improved versions of their current offerings, which are already near ideal. You'll just have to be willing to fork out more money compared to buying soundpeats.
