Nice looking build, those kits are fiddly in the suspension, mainly because when I built my 34 Ford(same suspension ) all I was using for glue was Testors tube! I built mine around 1979 or 80. I had the yellow kit, but I used the engine in a Mustang II build. I kept the seats all these years until my street machine group build of 2024, and used them in my Pinto build. Still have the Mustang. Thanks for sharing, would love to see a build on one of these.
That was a lot! It was more like "Cars, Coffee, and Two Trips to the Breakfast Buffet". Good memories of that T Sedan. I built it "Further Back" in the late Eighties when it was part of a "Hot Rod" three car combo kit. It was molded in a dark blue, and I left the body unpainted. Not 100% on the name in Italian, but when the name "Jorge" appears in the Spanish Language, it's pronounced "HOAR hey". No idea on that last name.🤷♂️
Jason, you should have just said you were a time traveler and left it at that! LOL Love the Lil' John Buttera cars (models and real ones). Nice looking Rally Car and Jag as well! Thanks for sharing...roll on 2025!
First..... OUTSTANDING job on that Lil John kit. They definitely are a bit of a challenge. The unbuilt one is freaking AWESOME. I had all of them back when they came out, what happened to them who knows lol. I have two of the coupes left (built) I don't mind the gold wires, guess I'm a little weird. The kit your friend brought you ALSO OUTSTANDING!!!! P.S. now I have to put Lil John kits on my fantasy list.
Great looking build and that other one should come out just as nice if not nicer. Love the rally car and the Jag. Take care if yourself. That uooer respiratory stuff can be bad.
Just before Lil John Buttera was building 1:1 street rods, he was a proliferic dragster and funny car chassis fabricator. Pro racers lined up for blocks to get one of his creations
I recorded my video on Friday, if that's cheating then I'll always be cheating, not gonna record on Sunday morning. 😁 I have a Sunday morning routine I just don't want to change. John Buttera, the founder of the billet movement. That's a good looking model, I painted a '32 delivery with that same paint.
"Painted WAY BACK wit Testors 1-Coat lacquer"... I was well into middle aged before Testors EVER offered lacquer rattle can paint. What to you punk bubblegum kids is "way back" is pretty recent to a lot of us. 😎🧙♂️
Nice looking build. The rally car your friend bought you looks great. Thanks for sharing.
