I know I said this before but here we go again I LOVE MICHIGAN I just can't bring myself to pay $2500 a year in property taxes when now I have a bigger, much newer house in a very safe and nice town and pay zero property taxes! If I did move back to Michigan it would be for my kids!
Well now you’re going to have everyone asking, where did you end up now for that?! $2500 a year isn’t so bad in comparison with some states, but yeah I agree, paying those taxes isn’t fun!
@@LivinginDetroitMi Actually my property taxes would be $500 but we get a 65 and older tax exemption and I live in Southside, Alabama in a neighborhood called Green Mountain Lake Homes.
@@LivinginDetroitMi Yes it is, everywhere I turn there is new construction going up! I miss hunting and fishing in Michigan though, a friend of mine went bow hunting last year and as he was walking up the stares to his elevated blind there was a rattle snake on one of the steps staring him right in the face! Fishing here is really good but mostly catfish unless you have access to a private pond!

Get a snowmobile and Jet-ski and I would be a happy camper
Oh for sure! Would just need to live a little further north in Michigan to truly enjoy the snowmobile! Are you living here now?
Michigan is one of the best states, except the climate. I live in Washington state.
You certainly have to like the 4 seasons here! I’ve visited Washington state, over near the national parks on west side. Beautiful state!
