I visited Jackson a few times and I think The Roxy Cafe is wonderful. Outside of home cooking (don't want to offend friends / family here! 😅) The Jambalaya Breakfast has got to be close to, if not THE best breakfast I EVER had! Nice people there too (played pool and had a beer or two with some of them next door at Robin's Roost which is a nice place as well. Jackson's a great little city as far as I'm concerned. I look forward to visiting again.
If you stop by the Roxy Cafe, it's cash only, so make sure you have enough before you go.
