Multi talented dude…actor, tennis pro, and the lifelong poker commentator for the World Poker Tour! RIP Mike sexton 😢
The subtitle in the video says French Open 1980 but McEnroe was playing with that racket in 1981, it's French Open 1981
Thanks for the correction! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Van Patten beat John a few months later in Tokyo.
You can win using serve and volley on clay you just have to do it fast. Otherwise clay courtiers will get their rythem. Mac, Henman and Rafter all did well in Paris
Vince Van Patten is the son of actor Dick Van Patten, who starred in the 70s and 80s sitcom, “Eight is Enough.”
I love Vince! Great actor also!!
Also Hell nights
best actor/tennis player in history...he could act a hella lot better than mac and could stay in a rally with him
Thanks for your feedback and support! Stay tuned for daily vintage tennis upload! Much appreciated, always! 👍😎
actually beat John in Japan the same year. Another very good actor/player was Dean Paul Martin.
Not to mention he was the voice of the WPT from the very beginning 😢
