Thanks AJ, nice video. Struggling my whole bowling life trying (unsuccessfully) to stay behind it more. Now learning there are conditions more side rotation is optimal. Could you delve more into that ? Thanks
So if you not using your shoulder or arm or anything like that? Do you created the rotation with your wrist? I see a lot of people say “shake the hand, thumb to the sky” I tried that at the lane and got hardly any rotation. But I see when he releases the ball his hand is closed more and more each time. P.S. I’m extremely new. Bought a new ball and haven’t even gotten it drilled yet . I bowled with two fingered but I want to start with 3 because I feel like it’s more consistent.
@RegardingBeau Lol, I appreciate it. Arm is still messed up. I had to switch to lefty. It's worse than starting all over again. But I bowled okayish last Sunday.
@ That’s rough. A friend of mine had to switch to lefty for similar reasons. Not easy to do, but at least there’s typically less transition for lefties. Good luck, dude.
@@RegardingBeau I have the left side all to myself, but I'm throwing pretty slow and reving the crap out of the ball so I'm having to hook the whole lane.
At the apex of your backswing, when you let gravity take over, your wrist should cup and this will cause your elbow to bend as well. Your hand will be below the equator of the ball at release. Don’t think about it too much, but make sure you learn how it feels while doing the drills so that you’ll notice when it doesn’t happen.
I appreciate you Sharing this information and Video, AJ! Keep up the good work. Thanks.🤙🏿🤙🏿💯
A.J Thx for this trics. Love from Holland.
I'll take all the help I can get!

I need a video on how to not dislocate my elbow and tear a bicep tendon throwing the ball.
I started making a video for you but it’s not finished. I’ll try again once my bicep heals and I can get my elbow popped back into place.

I LIKE THAT 👌
Im curious about why AJ never spoke about the elbow cup and uncup technique that he uses.
Some days i master it others i struggle to get the revs i want. I am not sure why. Then when i struggle i am spinning the dam ball
Tip: SO how do you keep below the Equator???
