I shower on my period but never on the first day. It’s too cooling for my body. When I shower on the second day, I never wash my hair. It’s what works for me. Everyone is different. I’m surprised by how similar Ayurvedic practices are to traditional Filipino medicine. All Asian traditional medicine practices are pretty similar. I think it’s really cool and links us all together.
I totally understand how you feel, I feel like I’m literally gonna drip blood all over the shower floor but it never happens. Ik it might seem weird but once in a while in the shower wet your hand and run it through down there yk and then go back to doing what you were doing and then do it again since water actually slows down the bleeding and stops it for a few seconds or so. I’d also recommend not showering the first 3-4 days of your period and wait until it goes down a little.
@@vivEditz1 I totally understand even me knowing how to shower on my period makes me stressed it’s so scary for no reason, also if you do bleed then it’ll just go down the drain but you’ll understand after trying!
I don't know why but in assam their is a practice of taking heavy bath and to wash hair during periods but hinduism don't support it Why this is so?even thoughit is harmful for us

My parents force me to take a shower on my period, but I don’t like how I don’t stop spilling blood everywhere from the water. It doesn’t stop.

As someone who takes 30 mins in the shower, and got their first period yesterday. I’ll simply just do my hair and get the hell out. Maybe soap
