They need to teach this in schools. You know before some girl thinks she’s bleeding out and dying lol
No one's believe that since the 90s, hello internet and smartphones 🙄
Yeah because once I had a friend that was 7 and she was bleeding there and everyone said she was weird and the teachers did not care and she was in pain all day and she was embarrassed 😞 i feal bad for her

I love how the girls not scared lol 😂 when I first saw a tampon in water I was like “how is that supposed to get out?!” But it’s ok now because I use them 👍🫶
I freaking love how open and willing these women are to talk about this stuff it makes me happy❤
And remember every vagina is different and some people can't use tampons it's okay.
I love you just want to teach her and your so patient with her which makes her feel comfortable asking questions
i was on my period once when i was at my boyfriend’s house and we were hanging out across the street. i had to go change my tampon and he didn’t want to let me go alone so we walked home, i went into the bathroom and he sat outside the whole time, making sure i was okay (and playing with a random non-used tampon i had in my bag since he was curious)
thats honestly the cutest thing ever
edit: the weirdest thing is the house i was at was the house to my future teachers house. it’s so awkward in his class now
@@leahgrace0406 Oh damn thats awkward
It's so cuute❤
I’ve tried to use one but I start shaking and tense up, and if I do get it to work it feels uncomfortable and hurts most of the time 😅
One thing I used to do whatever I first started using them was that I would turn on music and go to the bathroom to calm myself down so that they were easy to insert. Another thing I learned in order to prevent being uncomfortable, was to put one leg on the toilet seat, like a lunge pretty much and insert at an angle (like aim for your tummy). Hope that helps! I didn’t learn until wayyy later.
@@jennaliv thank you!
you might be putting it in wrong or too deep but to me tampons are a life changer and makes periods sm easier
I know I got so shaky for hours after
Same here. I know how to put one in the right way but I have not mastered the most comfortable way to angle it so after idk how many tries I am determined to keep on trying but I mostly use pads
As someone who doesn’t have their period yet this video makes me a whole lot less scared, and when I do get mine I’ll get August
I'm 9 years old, and I use a tampon and a pad at the same time. My older sister is currently teaching me how to go through puberty. But don't be scared, the first time you try to put a tampon in it might hurt for a bit, but if you feel it or it hurts, push it in further, it's not meant to hurt. But don't be scared! You will get used to it, and it doesn't hurt unless you haven't pushed it in far enough. Good luck! ❤
@@ChocoLyrics_You are the most mature 9 year old I have ever seen I’m actually jealous 😭 also, wow you know more about periods than I do 💀 my mom isn’t really letting me get tampons but I might try them when I’m a bit older

Im gratefull for what you do keep it up❤❤
I love how she is putting this on UA-cam and TikTok because some girls need to know this stuff
I can’t stop watching period related videos it makes me feel so much at home
i love that you teach this. younger my would have been so much more prepared😅
I tried my best and it hurt so bad bc I stuck it up to far forwards this time last time to far back and it hurt so bad ❤
It’s not supposed to hurt a lot, be careful! Don’t be too abrupt with yourself. 🫶🏻 Wishing you luck!
OMG the model literally made me less afraid to put one in so ty so much❤
I am sooo grateful for you ❤
that girl has more drip than meeee 😭😭🙌
Last year people at our school taught 5,6 grade abt this and I’m thankful for that (I was in 7 but I’m glad they are learning)
I’m still so scared to, I don’t wanna mess up
AS SOMEONE WHO USES TAMPONS YOU NEED TO CHANGE THEM MORE THAN EVERY 8 HOURS CAUSE YOU CAN GET TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME SO PLEASE CHANGE AT LEAST EVERY 4 HOURS!
She said at least 8 hours which means worst case scenario. Leaving tampons in for LONGER than 8-12 hours increases the risk of TSS
You don't need to change them every 4 hours, I mean possibly if you have a really heavy flow, but if you have a more light one you may end up pulling put a dry one (which sucks) it's good to change it around every 6 hours depending on your flow and the absorbency of the tampon.
It depends on your flow, some people can make it that full 8 hours (and then yes, you should absolutely remove it) but some people need to change it much more often. My flow goes up and down A LOT during my period so sometimes i can make it 8 hours and sometimes i can only use it for 30 min, it all depends on the person
most tampon packages say 4-6 or 4-8 its really what ever the package suggests leaving them in for more than 8 hours though increases risk of TSS
These TYPES of tampons u can change them up to 8 hrs
so next time keep it to urself u don’t know every yuh ing
Thanks for the advice and the tips on tampons ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I really needed to know this right now because my school only provides tampons, and I’m used to wearing pads, so I didn’t know how to put it in.
Yessss!!❤❤❤
I still don't understand and I'm still scared to try 😭
The little girl is so prettyyh
TYSM for this I’m gonna try it right now I need to know ❤
They should teach that at school! I need that im freaking out cause i didn't know how to use those till i saw your videos
😊❤
As a person that had to learn alone how to do this, and got hurt during the process I really appreciate that some people explain, no one ever explain anything about this to me even after I got my first period, luckily I did not freak out when I first had it because I already knew what period was but still, it was rough to comprehend it myself
❤❤
I have never used a tampon, but I feel like it would hurt pulling it out
In my school they taught us this in 5th and 4th grade, and I'm very grateful for that.
Change it every time you go to the bathroom. I specifically make extra trips for tampon changes about every 1-3hours while I am awake and about every 3-4 hours at night due to a heavier flow and to keep it from leaking through. (You couldn't pay me to wear pads. It's been 14 years without them)
I want to try so bad but I'm scared that it will leak out. The pads gross me out sometimes, and it's so uncomfortable for me that I feel like it's gonna fall out anytime, or I walk funny, too. I have a question: Do you use the tampons and everything? You are going to use the bathroom. You have to change even on urine, too? Like, what's gonna happen if you pee and you have tampons inside?
You absolutely do NOT need to change it every time you use the bathroom
@@thesouloflife4654help ur making me doubt even more 😭
Tysm
Thanks
I miss going to that class because I was actually interested 😂❤
We need this in schools for young girls
Where did you get the shorts??❤
Does tampon hurt? Im scared to use it! 😢
They do not hurt
But pads are always a good option
so it all really depends. if you don’t position the tampon correctly or put it up far enough it may be uncomfortable when you sit or stand back up or lay down. but it all different for different people. my first time using tampons was very scary and uncomfortable having something there but after a while i got used to it and now i barely feel that it’s there. also i dont recommend tampons for heavy bleeding as if you dont have the right one it can bleed through your underwear/pants. and if you never want to try tampons that’s also ok! everyone has their own preference 🥰
It should not if you put it in the right way, you might just feel it or have a slight discomfort
It shouldn’t if you put it in properly, but it also shouldn’t hurt when removing it. If it hurts when you remove it, it hasn’t soaked up what it needs to.
I started my period this year and since it’s summer and we will be swimming, o decided to use tampons. I spent hours looking at videos like this to tech me how and help me feel less scared. This video helped the most!!! ❤
OMG thank God ur a good teacher lmao bc it's been 4 years and no one still taught me how to do it , so thankyou
My thing is I had a babt back in September and haven't been able to put tampons on not sure what to do and what tampon to use
Ok yeah this should be more widespread but personally i don't understand how can girls get their first period and not know whats happening and same with pregnancy. I never had the talk and idk if it was because my mom knew that i already knew or she forgot. Idk when i learnt that kind of stuff but i have a foggy memory of when i was maybe in preschool or 1st grade, i saw a video of labor and after i asked my mom if it was painful and she said yes. I knew about periods for a long time and just did more research when i had it the first time.
Change every 3-4 hours!
Im so scared to put mine in right now, ik its stupid but ots my first time and im a bit anxious lol
I somewhat know how to use one but idk exactly where to put it (the location the the u know what) and I’m just petrified to use one and it failing ✌️
The first time u do it it can hurt but not to bad try to aim for ur lower back! And it’s honestly pretty easy if it’s uncomfortable take it out and try again😊
im still confused!!!! i have watched countless videos on how to put a tampon in and yet they are still so difficult
I DID IT TYSM! ❤❤❤ and it was really easy btw im 12 years old and there is nothing to be afraid of! ❤❤
I would definitely buy your products but I don’t live in America so I can’t access it 😭
Do u sell these in idaho also do u have ones for people with heavy flows
I’ve cried for an hour any time I try to do it it hurts really bad and I feel like a mess rn 😢
It’s fine it’s normal for the first time to hurt. U actually have some skin covering the hole some it covers more than others Ik it hurts it hurt me too but just try to do it once and after that it should be better!
I am scared for when I get mine like it would hurt I feel like
Can you show the difference between an average tampon and an august tampon?
Luv u!
As a male this is very informative
Damn i need this i keep accidentally putting it in at an angle and its hella uncomfortable 😭
HOW DO I "PUSH IT IN" WHEN I TRIED TO DO IT IT HURTS SO BAD
My fear is if it gets stuck and uou pull only the string and the other part gets stuck up there but I am scared to put it in also.I feel like it vould hurt
I was bleeding in class but during a hygiene lesson
My mom was super religious, though she admitted of trying tampons in the past, she still thought that her negative experience was enough to not allow her own daughters to try different menstruation products that might work for them, and even went as far as trying to reinforce the myth that tampons make you lose your virginity. At a certain point when I was a teenager, I got sick and tired of missing out on fun summer activities just because I was on my period, so I went to the store and bought my first tampons. I have to admit, I had absolutely no idea that a vagina was not the same as the urethra, so I kept trying to shove it up my pee hole and just gave up. Because of religious fear mongering, it took me a while to get the courage to just put my hand down there and feel around. I genuinely was raised to believe that my genitals were sinful and dirty. Eventually I figured it out, and for most of my young adult life, tampons were my go-to period product. All this is to say, I wish I had women in my life back then who didn't make it seem like feminine hygiene was taboo or something to be ashamed of. I'm glad it has become more of an open topic over the years. Please don't be afraid to get familiar with your own body!
I’m scared the strings ganna brake
my mom always told me that period products only last 2-3 hours. especially tampons.
Can someone help me because every time I try, it hurts
Est ce que vous avez des astuces pour les crampe j’ai l’impression à se moment même de me prendre des coup de couteau dans le ventre 😅
Her:“It’s like a cotton ball!”
Me: *yea I’m sure you recognize that*
The first time I used one it got stuck and have been afraid ever since
4 to 6 hours. Every time you pee really.
if you guys are having a hard time understanding the 45 degree angle thing, or having trouble getting a tampon in right. when you’re sitting on the toilet to put one in (or over the sink some people have to get a little closer that’s fine) aim the tampon more towards your butt when you’re putting it in, it goes a lot easier.
No but I have no idea where to put it but I know how thanks to tutorials lol
I wish I saw this video before I started using them.
I'm 26 and still confused with this applicators. Were im from you can mostly buy the ones without applicator and so I've just learned to use this kind of tampons.
how about with no applicator
i mean u kinda just shove it up there
I’m scared to use them
I used them once and it hurt so bad
Do you take it out straight away
no after aboht 6 hours or so
If you did that, it wouldn’t absorb anything because your flow doesn’t just sit there; it trickles down. So wait a few hours and then take it out!
@@safudraws You can get infections that way it's best to only leave it in for 4-5 hours
@@CocetteBoba yh probably .Only wear them when swimming and stuff

The brown discharge might be dried blood, depending on the consistency! It’s pretty normal for your period to be really light, just a few drops, the first month or two. Don’t panic!
