You got waaayyy more patience than I do Rich! I would've slung those things across the shop when the wires broke!

I wondered why MUTH (signal mirrors) charges so much for their mirrors. Lot of detailed work.
BTW: 3M Double-Stick tape sticks A LOT better if you hair dryer warm up the sticky tape after 1/2 installing it. Once you even touch it, IT'S PERMANENT. Start over if you mess it up.

JB Weld is king again. ^_^ I also use the same 3M sticky for hood ornaments. Don't ask me why, but someone hijacked my wife's SL2 hood ornament. Got a replacement and used the same sticky stuff to tack it on.

Sir, Does the back surface of the mirror require any modification in order for the light to shine through? Thanks.

This is certainly dicey work. Very clean but you can surface mount these things in two seconds and be done with it.

I would like to do this to my 2002 Hyundai Sonata GLS but just as I went to buy the LED markers I read something saying that not all vehicles have Translucent Mirrors. Will my mirrors work? Are they Translucent? Can I install this on my car? Please respond and I LOVED THE VIDEO! Great Job!

rich, if your mirrors are electric why do you need to run your power wires from the new LED indicators vs. connecting to the hot and ground wires for your mirror? Thanks. these 2 videos are detailed.

    • @RichpinTv

That is something to think about.I wounder how much extra load it would put on that circuit.

+Roger Spence If you wire it to the mirrors, how is it supposed to flash the arrows? You want to have it wired to a turn signal feed.
