I am a good example of this. Metalhead for 10 years, was really curious about BTS, listened to one song, then two, then three and so on. I was like "Man, there's no going back from this". Didn't help that the guys are super hot too. 😂🖤

There is a song called Adult Child with Jin, Suga, and RM if you want to check it out. In this music video J-Hope was 19, Jimin and V were 17, and Jungkook was 16.

It was fun seeing this. I agree, J-Hope just has that extra poise and outgoing personality on stage. His Lollapolooza concert was the epitome of J-Hope on stage. I hope you have seen that concert on UA-cam. He totally killed the stage in front of 105,000 fans. Simply amazing.
This song is definitely an underrated song. Seriously, why did no one inform me of a unit between J-hope and the maknae line.

This dance was one of the things that they got stans of another band upset with them because at the same time another group was doing partner dance at the same time. But they did this for the kcon in the US and the muster in Korea and Japan during their first muster in 2014.
I loved young jungkook's vocals and the flow which jhope often used before so much. I love his current voice too ofc
Wauw, we're really getting the more obscure BTS songs here. 😅👍 Whether intentional or not I always felt that the reverb perfectly illustrated an inner monologue and I love that they work across the rap/vocal lines as well. School Of Tears by RM, Jin and Suga is another great adaptation.

@9:27 I think they were just experimenting with different unit groups. There's another one as someone mentioned: Adult Child with Jin, SUGA and RM. In fact that song is quite fitting right now. I think it's in Yoongi verse were he mentions having to go to the military now that they are an adult.
I had never heard this song before!!!😮 It’s so beautiful!!! (Pun intended!) I’m a big fan of 50’s-60’s doo-wap, etc, music and this got me on my feels completely!! And watching them dancing? Thank you for this reaction, John. Love the early BTS songs, their young selves are so cute! I miss rapper JK, he's so good rapping in their earliest songs. One reason BTS is so appealing to their fans is the members' lovable personalities and their natural acting talents. Love their choreo, their synchronicity looks so effortless and not the product of hours of practice.
Leave it to you to find a wonderful set of videos showing us our boys when they were first starting out. This was a fun watch. I've seen the MV and dance practice but so far apart I didn't realize they were the same song. AND I never saw the live performance. As always, they are even better live! beautiful is one of my all time favorites when I had housing I would play along ...guitar or bass or drums and I loved to "air waltz" with them because I had a hard wood floor meant for dancing...God I wish I could marry the band.

In my opinion, V's voice is always better LIVE because in most BTS songs recorded the producers try to adjust his tone to one that is more similar to the other 3 in the vocal line, taking away the depth and natural bass of his voice that we can hear better in his solo songs (my opinion

They have done unit songs like this previously where they mix in a rapper, which is probably precisely why they had Hobi in this unit. Jin was in a unit song with Suga and RM on Adult Child. Your comment is really disrespectful to Jin. 🙁
I'm not being disrespectful, I absolutely adore Jin's voice, but it took him some time to learn to sing and John said this was recorded very early on. I was just wondering if he had earned a place in the vocal line at that time.

He did a separate unit song with RM and Suga called Adult Child during this same time. If his vocals weren’t good enough for this song they wouldn’t have put him on that song. You could’ve kept that comment to yourself. It just wasn’t very kind.
I think they may have replaced Jin with J-Hope because he might have looked too old and J-Hope could pass for younger? And the rapping too of course.
