I started watching your videos years ago before having any knowledge in research methods. Now that I’m working towards research, just hearing this, I’m glad I never opt for PRP with microneedling. It’s about $500-$600 USD in my area. I honestly never saw any dramatic results from the pictures people showed me at all of the consultations I’ve been to. I had the normal microneedling done with HA growth factor and was pretty satisfy with it. But I do want to mention that I feel that microneedling should spread farther apart instead of a 2-3 month time frame that most office recommends. I was satisfy with my first session. Went in 2 months later for my 2nd sessions and the glow and smooth texture I achieved somehow faded. I decided to not go for a 3rd session. But this video was informative.

Dr Lim, what about PRF , example EZ PRF? Thanks Dr. Lim
I had PRP in my neck to help with lines. The difference was there, however it wasn't a huge difference. Is there any other option available for treatment of the neck area, particularly "tech neck".
What about just for collagen production?
Greatly looking forward to what you have to say about fat grafting in conjunction with subcisions for 2021! (Had a consult in the states.)
Any thoughts on PRF?
I want to know too!
Heyy, so u suggest more microneedling with growth factor serum than PRP serum?
@@maulidarahmi3090 it’s hard to advise something since all of our skin issues are different and unique. Therefore, we will all respond differently. The best way for you to find out is to go to these consultation and ask what kind of products they use to glide the device VS PRP. Research the product and read reviews. Ask questions to get a feel of the technique that they use. I learned some things that I never heard about from my PA. On a different note, I did purchase the serum from the office that I went to just in hope of achieving the best result. But I found that using other serums on the less expensive side after healing in my skincare routine help as well. I hope this gives you some sort of guidance.
@@Eskojpuasok btw, i’ve done microneedling+PRP 3 times, microneedling+growth factor serum 2 times and PRP subsicions once. It makes my scar and textured skin looks good after did that treatment, but combined with other treatment like laser, peeling and silkpeel too. I thought microneedling makes my textured skin looks good now, whatever with PRP serum or Growth factor serum i think😅. But microneedling with PRP serum more expensive than growth factor serum. Btw, microneedling makes the dark spot on my cheeks, and the doctor said maybe its because the microneedling tretment.
Review on threads, you tubers are doing home threads, are they safe?
The place I use for cosmetics says that this is the best treatment for under eye wrinkles and better than fillers that migrate over time. Any thoughts?
Can you share your thoughts on topical Minoxidil to treat hairless/ hair-sparse areas of the face (like eyebrows or beard)
Hi, happy new year . Please we need more videos on rosacea 🙏🏼 do u have any recommendation on who is good in Florida ( Orlando )? I know IPL is good , but do I need to find out what laser machine they use ? Or all of them r the same ? Thank u
What do you feel does work? My girl recommended it to me so I’m glad I saw this because it’s expensive. What could I do for fine lines, pigmentation & scarring?
What're your thoughts on 4d lasers and their intraoral component?
Thank you so much for the information Doc. May I also ask, will facial extraction cause scarring? Went to wellknown dermatologist clinic, they suggested to do facial first before doing Pico & PRP. Done all 3 but no visible resut can be seen so far. Thank you in advance @dr davin lim 🙏
Is prp not the same as stem cells or different?
Different, platelet rich plasma, your own blood is drawn and put in centrifuge to separate blood from plasma, then your plasma is injected into you. No stem cells involved.
12:50 what's CS application?
I was wondering the same!
Hi Dr. Lim-- will microneedling help old faded microbladed brows disappear?
What kind of treatments to you recommend to us on our 40’s with lots of cow feet and, forehead lines and beginning of sageness? I really don’t want to jump from one place to the other and waste money without results. At least I want to prevent more wrinkles. Thank you!
Can you rate facials we can get at the salon? Which ones are rubbish? Which ones are worth the investment?
Hi, how are the microneedling machines and RF microneedling lasers sanitised? I've heard of people contracting HIV from microneedling machines. How do we know the staff are sanitising their machines properly
I hope I can go there so you can treat my acne scars. I’ve been battling with acne scars for years now. I’ve tried so many treatments already. Tried microneedling and co2 fractional laser. I was supposed to try prp but now I really dont know what treatment should I try :(

I want to ask you, Doctor. I have acne scars. If I use plasma to treat these effects, will the pills return after a period of time or not?
So Dr. Lim, what would you recommend with skin with color that is trying to fix scarring, whether its from acne or cut? Thank you a bunch for your time and answer.
Merlyn from San Antonio Texas
Do you think it will help melasma?
My doctor is recommending prp for hair growth. Is it safe ? Do we need regular sessions to maintain the hair growth?
from what I read after first 6 sessions you can maintain once a year. I see some doctors also mix in A-Cell (pig bladders) for more growth factors, like PRP/PRF doesn;t work as well on it's own.
@@kit.e6864 thanks.
Once in a year for lifetime?
@@kanikapandey8785 I guess a lifttime, but if it works then it saves you time and money trying a bunch of other stuff
Can u pls tell at what rpm and for what time u did ur first spin?
Do you have links to the studies? Specifically the Microneedling/PRP, Thank you
hi, is it the same as PRP + incision ?
Your skin is glowing. Nice@
Hello Dr. Lim! When you say that in your opinion, prp doesn't yield results in terms of acne scarring improvement, is that versus regular microneedling or that in general microneedling (prp and non-prp) isn't the best for acne scars? Thank you!
Hi Dr, who do you recommend for acne scar subscission in the UK?
Thanks for sharing 🙌💟
