Reminds me when I, back at my old job, sat in front of my desk as the only one left (7ppl in my office ~150 in the company) hours after the end of the workiing day, listening to those mixes while contemplating sales numbers, marketing strategies, stock planning and so on ... closing in on 2 years since I left after 8 years, still in contact with a bunch of the ppl till this day ... good memories :) One friday, I didn't even leave, we planned on playing poker in our canteen, so while most of the others left and came back for the game in the evening, I just stayed and listened while I just kept on working until they came back a few hours later xD

I've never been to a jazz bar but the atmosphere of cocktails, good music, excellent company really makes me want to visit. As soon as global travel restrictions permit I'll schedule a trip to the states to take some of this in.
Im sure there are plenty of place but if at some point you happen to be in Puerto Rico, visit The Canon Club in Old San Juan. Its a great venue with live jazz.

I used to work at doughnut plant In Tokyo and the atmosphere was really good. I loved this job so much and sometimes I played jazz (even if my boss didn’t like ugh ). Now I don’t work there anymore because Corona made them close...I’m feeling so sad because after years of struggle,not having a job, I had finally found a work that I like it... I hope I’ll be able to open my own cafe soon!

I have been in love with jazz, bossa nova too, I love this genre and it is very close to my heart. I think brazil has some very beautiful jazz and music in general, its culture is facinating too (my favorite track is Jodel by Joao Donato). I love jazz since there is soul in it, a pool of emotions such as joy, sorrow, and even nostalgia. Back in the 60’s we listened to jazz, my dad was a SAX PLAYER, and my brother is a drummer..my boy friend Greg would take me to piano bars and listened to jazz had a few whisky sours,and of course we dressed good too..this is real music ,elegant.and real taste to it..kenmore New York.🎷🎹🥁
Jazz can make you sad and happy at the same time. It lets your mind fly away wherever you want and you can be who ever you want to be. It's like drugs, once you have tasted it, you cant' go on without it. At least the sideffects are less dangerous. But it can also be that I'm a melancholic person, who wants to swim in the sad endless sea to feel alive and creative.
Having Jobim on here was a really nice touch! I feel like that guy is really overlooked on this channel, but it was nice to see some of his work on this comp.
I'm not too sure about Jobim's songs on this playlist myself, I kinda prefer some of the softer stuff that brought in more guitar like his album 'Wave'. But that stuff isn't as much "Jazz Lounge" material so I guess these ones do make more sense for this playlist.

Reminds me of spending Friday or Saturday nights at George's s Spaghetti House in downtown Toronto. (Anyone else remember George's?) Superb Italian food, wonderful atmosphere and great jazz combos. The late great Moe Koffman played there frequently. Sadly, George's is long gone but I'll always great memories.

Just picked up the kids from school. Their playing in and around the house and i'm hanging around in the kitchen; prepping dinner, cleaning out the schoolbags and lunchboxes, while listening to this. This is a mood!! ❤🎶

I used to work at doughnut plant In Tokyo and the atmosphere was really good. I loved this job so much and sometimes I played jazz (even if my boss didn’t like ugh ). Now I don’t work there anymore because Corona made them close...I’m feeling so sad because after years of struggle,not having a job, I had finally found a work that I like it... I hope I’ll be able to open my own cafe soon!

I have been in love with jazz, bossa nova too, I love this genre and it is very close to my heart. I think brazil has some very beautiful jazz and music in general, its culture is facinating too (my favorite track is Jodel by Joao Donato). I used to always get comments like jazz is boring or that I don't have any taste, but I do not care about them. I love jazz since there is soul in it, a pool of emotions such as joy, sorrow, and even nostalgia. It makes me very happy to see that this genre got more and more popular in my generation and that people start to get it. Back in the 60’s we listened to jazz, my dad was a SAX PLAYER, and my brother is a drummer..my boy friend Greg would take me to piano bars and listened to jazz had a few whisky sours,and of course we dressed good too..this is real music ,elegant.and real taste to it..kenmore New York.🎷🎹🥁

Jazz can make you sad and happy at the same time. It lets your mind fly away wherever you want and you can be who ever you want to be. It's like drugs, once you have tasted it, you cant' go on without it. At least the sideffects are less dangerous.
But it can also be that I'm a melancholic person, who wants to swim in the sad endless sea to feel alive and creative.
listening to this while doing my history assessment. this jazz is the only thing keeping me in a good mood

Having Jobim on here was a really nice touch! I feel like that guy is really overlooked on this channel, but it was nice to see some of his work on this comp.
I'm not too sure about Jobim's songs on this playlist myself, I kinda prefer some of the softer stuff that brought in more guitar like his album 'Wave'. But that stuff isn't as much "Jazz Lounge" material so I guess these ones do make more sense for this playlist.

ive only been to disney once, and I was so young I cant even remember. have some gratitude :). and life wouldn't be any fun without hard work, so embrace the tough times, especially when you have infants. in 20 years you're going to wish you had babies to put to sleep again.
