Good morning Dr. Sax!! I'm loving this!!! Very relaxing!!! Thank you!! Can't wait to get my drink in my hands and just chill out and take this beautiful music all in!! Be blessed!! 😘😘😘❤❤❤
It is Saturday evening Jan 2021. My neighbor succumbed to the dreaded covid. He totally loved this jazz. This was the year he wanted to buy a laptop and learn how to get to Dr. SaxLove by himself. We would sit by the fence and share a bottle of golden brown liqa and chat the evening away. We just came from his funeral and I instinctively poured 2 glasses cognac (one for him), cool rain falling, and reminiscing all with my "old timer ". RIP gentle giant "Tops". Warm greetings one and all, and to you Dr. SaxLove, from Namibia.
@@DrSaxLove Thank you so much indeed. He was a cool old man. He belonged to a sub-culture of sapeurs. He would dress up every Saturday evening just to sit by the fence and listen to Dr. SaxLove. "Its time for dokta saksa-laf." he would say. Thank you.
Tropical storm headed my way so I’m in my sun room watching clouds and rain with aromatic candles, a glass of Riesling, a nicely rolled spliff… and this playing. ..a vibe, ladies and gents.

Today I’m sitting in my office, finally at a better job. I look around and I see all the feminine decor I brought in to make it lovely. Still listening and vibing to this. Thank you ❤️
I cannot get enough of this one. I listen to it almost continuously as I write software. I've picked up the sax again after 22 years and I hope to play along. For me, this is the ideal sax music.
Great to you your back on the Sax... Glad to have been able to help you pass the time while you work. If you want to play along but not to these, some of my music is available as backing track on www.backingtracks.pro
Give me a room to myself, this music playing at moderate volume and a bottle of Hennessy after being in the freezer for 5 days (so I don't need ice to enjoy) and last but not least, a huge Cuban cigar to silently enjoy as my mind travels thru the various portals of cool!!!
Back in the 60's when I was still very young child a restaurant in my home town called the Golden Cash played music like this. Wow, brought back so many memories and a few tears. Right now drinking Jameson's and having good flashbacks. Thank You
After a hard day's work just sitting here reflecting life and how beautiful life truly is. Thank you Dr. Sax Love . Just wish I was I had a high view of my city Columbus Ohio on this beautiful Saturday night. Cheers my friend.
@@DrSaxLove I turn 65 this April. Got Medicare on my mind. I've been wondering: Who is the handsome fellow in the thumbnail? He's the guy I always *wished* I looked like. I'll bet he picks up a ton of beautiful women.

This playlist has become a permanent fixture when, in the hustle and bustle of work days, I want to pause and let myself have one glass of whiskey in the evening, flavored with a cigar or pipe in the dim light. I know some would say it's childish in a way. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. It's my way of relaxing and letting the music, whiskey and smoke pass through me, taking my problems and worries with it. It's like a lifeline to cling to so I don't drown in the routine and the daily grind. Thank you for this great playlist.
Exactly what this playlist was designed for, Z0ltis ... that moment at the end of the day when you sit back, enjoy an adult beverage, and let it all go. I'm thrilled you're diggin' it! 🙏 ~Dr. SaxLove
I find this music fascinating! When I get home after a hard day, take a shower, get in bed , put my headphones, my eyes closed listening to the saxophone, and the piano ! It’s just indescribable! Thank you Dr SaxLove.
Outside the rain is coming down in sheets, inside though I've turned off work, kicked back with a glass of Chivas Regal and am watching my pups snooze while completely relaxing to this wonderful curation of music. Thanks to you, I'm relaxed and care free. Cheers!
My siblings and l grew up in the East end of Toronto. A diverse, densely populated area. We were fortunate to have a family cottage in the near North (Haliburton, Ontario). We spent many weeks of many Canadian seasons there But this is the music we heard, absorbed, internalized, and to this day return to for a shot at the real deal in a world gone mad!
I work at a semi-fancy restaurant. The two owners are a great Chef and a great Manager, respectively, but neither one knows good music. One night I put this video on repeat while working instead of their usual playlists, and one of my tables would not stop raving about the music selection. They have since become my favorite regulars. Long story short, thank you for helping me meet some really cool people, not to mention the fantastic tunes. Speaking of, I'm not trying to diminish (rimshot) the sax playing, but the pianist in this was also perfect. They carried the melody just as well as they covered the accompaniment, all while never stealing the show. In a Sentimental Mood was just - *chef kiss* - perfect. Please make more! Edit: No, Skylark was perfect. No, Autumn Leaves. No, A Train. Aww, just take my money.

i was in a cocktail bar in tampa florida the place was rather high up above some shops .it over looked the sea ..wow this was being played by a resident band ....how magical was that ..i drank several cocktails through out the afternoon ...it was all pure joy .....memories to cherish x lol
Wait! On 5 November 2020 there's 697 thumbs down!!! Why! How is that possible? Anyway, first thing I thought about when I saw the photo was Michael Corleone from Godfather II. Listen to this, I close my eyes and I'm in a 1950s Manhattan club, with cigarette girls and classy dressed people. I wish I could retire to the 1950s. Dr. Saxlove, I hope you know how much you impact people, sometimes we just need an island of time to reflect, thanks for taking us there. Thanks for The Shadow of Your Smile, one of my favorites.
He leaned over the table and slapped me across the face backhanded, contemptuously. The small, tight smile stayed on his ugly face. I felt the side of my face with my cold hand and said, "I still believe that Dr. SaxLove has the best station on this platform." He raised his hand again. I waited for the second slap.
Now this right here is what I call real music. Not like the music we have today which I find okay and decent but music like this is the kind of music that makes me just sit/stand in the house and just look at the sunset while this music is playing. Thank you so much for creating this playlist because Jazz overall is my number one music genre that I would listen to any day.
Took me quite some time to appreciate Jazz. Finally started really listening in my late 30’s after my daughter was born. Up those late nights and just needed to relax. I am now 52 and have not stopped listening to jazz ( or blues) for my late night moods.
This is MY PERFECT JAZZ.Just walked thru woods, tonight with it on speaker. Slept to it last night, read to it last night. Can't wait to have romantic moment to it.
Just laying here, full of the flu, (not Covid) chillin, and recovering to your sonorous, and melodious tones. Thank you, good Dr SaxLove. I think I will have a nap with you playing in the background.
I've just finished a hard day, nothing better than listening to my daily doses of Jazz, while drinking a fine glass of cool-aid (berries if you are a connoisseur like me) and eating my children's leftovers while everybody is sleeping.
It's now after office hours. Switch off all the screens. Let your day sink in. Sit back, relax, take a casual sip on your choice of whisky, have a bite of your favourite cheese. Life doesn't need to be complicated. Enjoy what you already have.
I'm sat in front of my Yamaha electric piano playing along with the music, chilled out to the max. whether listening or playing, it so sooths the soul.
Listening after work on a cool Friday evening waiting for my food to be ready...a glass of wine..this is.simply relaxing. I also remember in the late 70's when I worked at a 5-star hotel lobby, and the businessmen came for the music and orders wine, scotch or cognac drink on Friday nights after a long week. Thank you for posting this!
Well, anothet week ended. Training went well..came home to a steak dinner, then a glass of Pikes Peak Whiskey on the rocks after dinner to relax. All-in-all, I think I'm doing damn well for as old as I am, listening to good jazz being played to the background of my life. Whiskey jazz gives me a new breath on life with every note that is being played..thank you doc...

Today my husband and I celebrated a "bitter-sweet" 30 years of being together (we lost his mum on Sunday). Since we could not go out for a meal as per usual, we decided to order in. We created our own unique experience with this album playing in the background.. Thanks for the compilation❤️

i was in a cocktail bar in tampa florida the place was rather high up above some shops .it over looked the sea ..wow this was being played by a resident band ....how magical was that ..i drank several cocktails through out the afternoon ...it was all pure joy .....memories to cherish x lol
Little slice of heaven right there, Jane. Greetings, gratitude, and much love to you from Ann Arbor! ~Dr. SaxLove 🙏
The best type of music is the one where no words are needed to tell an interesting story.
I do so appreciate your kind compliments, Dark Delta! May your day be filled with light and love! ~Dr. SaxLove 🙏
@@DrSaxLove Same to you sir!
So relaxing...In a time where everything has to go fast and people forget about themselves...thank you very much!
Very well said.
Amen, brother.
Now this right here is what I call real music. Not like the music we have today which I find okay and decent but music like this is the kind of music that makes me just sit/stand in the house and just look at the sunset while this music is playing. Thank you so much for creating this playlist because Jazz overall is my number one music genre that I would listen to any day.
experimental music is for everyone my boy
Took me quite some time to appreciate Jazz. Finally started really listening in my late 30’s after my daughter was born. Up those late nights and just needed to relax. I am now 52 and have not stopped listening to jazz ( or blues) for my late night moods.
This is MY PERFECT JAZZ.Just walked thru woods, tonight with it on speaker. Slept to it last night, read to it last night. Can't wait to have romantic moment to it.
❤️ Thank you!
Super FANTASTICALLY WONDERFULLY AWESOME AND SOUL FEEDING
Nothing better that listen this music, while enjoy a good Habano Cigarrette and 12 years whisky in the glass.......I can touch the heaven...
Just laying here, full of the flu, (not Covid) chillin, and recovering to your sonorous, and melodious tones. Thank you, good Dr SaxLove. I think I will have a nap with you playing in the background.
Great selections! I often listen to this late at night accompanied by a glass of great bourbon! Good way to end the day!
I've just finished a hard day, nothing better than listening to my daily doses of Jazz, while drinking a fine glass of cool-aid (berries if you are a connoisseur like me) and eating my children's leftovers while everybody is sleeping.
I'm thrilled that you're enjoying this music, Patatosky. Much love to you! ~Dr. SaxLove 🙏

the piano solo that starts at 45:15 is such a nice touch and very beautiful❤
It's now after office hours. Switch off all the screens. Let your day sink in.
Sit back, relax, take a casual sip on your choice of whisky, have a bite of your favourite cheese.
Life doesn't need to be complicated. Enjoy what you already have.
I was in extreme depression before I got here. I am now relaxed sitting with a glass of wine( Josh-Cabernet Sauvignon). Thanks Dr. SAXLOVE
Happy to be of service to you, Nkubito. Much love to you! ~Dr. SaxLove 🙏
Sunday, 12/27/20, 12:33 a.m. Awfully nice of these musicians to stay up and play their instruments this late in the evening to entertain us. Please give them my compliments. Come, Heather, we shall go... Our sleigh awaits us.
This is seven o’clock in the morning and I enjoy listening to the music, drinking milk.Music prevails.

Today my husband and I celebrated a "bitter-sweet" 30 years of being together (we lost his mum on Sunday). Since we could not go out for a meal as per usual, we decided to order in. We created our own unique experience with this album playing in the background.. Thanks for the compilation❤️

Sending much love and respect from the Ann Arbor, MI area...Your music gives me life!!! I'm a hard core metal rock girl, but was turned on to your music last year, I've never been keen on Jazz, but now I listen everyday at work, ALL day, thank you so much for what you do!!!!
Hi, Tina... nice to hear from you. I appreciate your reaching out to me, and I'm honored that a hard core metal girl would listen to and enjoy my tunes. Much love to you, sister! ~Dr. SaxLove 🙏
Truly a beautiful little symphony to unwind to. Drink a little wine, smoke a little sunshine, and reflect on the things ahead.
I love your approach, Goon ... little wine, little sunshine, a little reflexion ... a slice of heaven! I appreciate you, friend. 🙏
