I've played with Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee Back In The Day and Sonny Terry NEVER Used a Harp Mic!!! A Master of His Abilities Didn't Need To Use a Harp Mic!!!

I once saw a local player talking between songs of how much he idolized Sonny Terry, who was my very first mentor via vinyl.He said a lot of nice things about him and then kicked off the next song saying, Sonny would have done it like this, when he grabbed his shure green bullet and started playing through it .I about spit my drink across the dance floor at his idiotic comment

They did mention the size, the xlr connectivity, and the volume control.
No you can NOT plug directly into an amp!!! You need an adapter or an xlr to 1/4 inch cable adapted to pin 2 hot.

Um, the HarpBlaster looks suspiciously like BlwsMeAway’s Bulletini mic. I think sE reverse engineered that mic from Greg Neumann’s design, tho I could be wrong. It doesn’t have the bass response that the Bulletini. Gerhart is not much of a harmonica player, considering the amplified harp talent pool in Europe and the US. Sorry, Gerhart.
Bulletini sounded too dark all the time to me, I passed on it, this may nail it for me, balanced tone better, priced more competitively, has clever locking and disabled locking feauture on plug, they obviously benchmarked everything
Just to let you know, this microphone is not a copy of Blows Me Away’s microphone. This new Hohner microphone has a lot of features from Steve Baker’s old custom microphone. For many years people have had custom microphones made, often into smaller shells than the JT-30’s and Green Bullets, and with built in volume controls in different locations. The element is different than the bulletini’s, too.
