Thx for this lovely season 7 of intros of Bewitched. It sure makes one’s appetite for the full episodes unfulfilled. Little “amuse bouches” meaning little teasers of taste wanting more of the “ full meal”. Nevertheless, always glad that someone has taken the time to put together a whole season of how wonderful, delightful and charming this popular show, Bewitched, was, All the years it was shown. It is a “time capsule”, but timeless too bc of it’s superb actors, guest stars, storylines, humor with some tough social issues, producing and appreciation for the beloved lead characters, thus actors too, for the 8 years it ran. I miss Elizabeth Montgomery, Agnes Moorehead, David White, Dick York, and Dick Sargent with his interpretation, Alice Pearce, …. etc. Both Dicks died early on, after Bewitched, a year apart. RIP All Wonderful Bewitched Actors who really were a great ensemble and a beloved group of entertainers! Every time I go to Gloucester, I eat in the same restaurant that they filmed in. I was talking to a waitress who is probably about 75 maybe a little older she said the cast were really, really sweet. and they still have memorabilia in the attic which I wanted to see desperately. But unfortunately, I couldn’t.
I've said it before in other posts. They didn't stat redoing episode concept in the last three seasons. The writers started that in season one all through season five. In season five, they did two very similar episodes about five episodes apart, SAMANTHA ON THE KEYBOARD and SAMANTHA THE SCULTURESS then there's season two's MAID TO ORDER and SAMANTHA'S SUPER MAID. Must I go on?
Note the difference between Dick Sargent's Darrin here, when Sam uses witchcraft in SAMANTHA'S PSYCHIC SLIP and Dick York's Darrin in IS IT MAGIC OR IMAGINATION? DS's Darrin is understanding and calm about it. "Oh, that's OK." In the latter, DY's Darrin freaks out when he sees Sam straightening up the living room. After five years, you'd think he'd be less overwrought. To me, York's Darrin regressed. In the first two seasons, Darrin was far less hot headed. There were times that Sam had to get into his face. The writers were the blame for this. York didn't like it.
this program is so cool witching this with my older sister's while growing up During the 80s until Hollywood spoiled it by turning this into a Movie in 2005 starring Nicole Kidman it was pathetic.
😮@00:06 Did they have to make all the "Darrin's" such creeps? They certainly weren't attractive in my opinion, nor were they congenial, likeable, or even decent for that matter! And the "Adam" actor must have been related to a production affiliate because he absolutely didn't have a flair for acting. Again, just my opinion.
Why is he so nasty to Serena? I like her. She’s much prettier and fun than Samantha . Dumbo is just a nasty miserable human . What she sees in him has always puzzled me. He’s not in the least good looking and has a nasty attitude and terrible personality. Didn’t they have good looking men back then? Guess not.
