These (season 2) were B/W These are the Sony remastered colorized versions. Made from the original b/w film. Season 3 is the 1st season actually filmed in "living color". For both "Bewitched" and "I Dream of Jeannie" color television broadcasting was too rudimentary to transmit the many magical special effects without the changes in filming and the wiring etc showing. Columbia put thier best technological teams on improving the filming and transmission processes and both shows went into color, the same year on thier respective channels Bewitched ABC, IDofJ on NBC starting in 1966.
Dick York truly epitomized the ideal Darrin. Not only was he a talented actor, but he also dedicated himself to helping those experiencing homelessness, making a significant impact in their lives. It's a tragedy that he was let go by what many consider the best show on TV, which seemed to overlook his remarkable character and contributions. I sincerely hope the Chinese whispers aren't true about Elizabeth Montgomery and dick York

The early seasons had a romance about them that the later ones just didn’t have. It was very believable that they were in love. That was the heart of the show, not the witchcraft really.

I love Bewitched...though, looking at it now, it was quite sexist...for example, her duties was to be a dutiful wife and, not use her witchcraft to help her with the housework. Yet, let's remember, the husband had on most occasions helped by witchcraft with his work project
Oh, how the leopard changes his spots when the money is right. Right, Dick? I didn't like either one. The character of "Darrin" was endlessly irritating to me. I'm here for Samantha and Endora. But, I have found that Wiccans are problematic. Surrounded by demons-at-play.
They goofed on the title of season 2, episode 7...and I don't know who did Endora's eye make up on season 2...but she looks ridiculous. It was really stupid-looking the season they did white eyeliner below the eye.
