Watching the first two I told myself I wouldn't cry. Didn't work this time around; Crisis was the album I bought the day after I was released from the mental health facility after my suicide attempt, and nothing was more consoling than this album. I spent literal days listening to this album seeking solace in the words spoken and chords played. This isn't the album that "saved" me, but rather the album that mended my wounds and gave me the inspiration to seek my own salvation. Alexisonfire will forever be The Only Band Ever in my eyes.
This is the album that got me into Alexisonfire. Around about 2008, in highschool art class, everyone would get a day to choose the music over the speakers while we worked and this album would be on constant rotation
I can not express exactly how much Alexisonfire means to me. It will never ever come to words. They've saved my life before and will always be The Only Band Ever in my eyes. This is a fantastic video series and more people should be doing them. Alexisonfire will live on forever in the skullhearts of every fan worldwide. Much love.
Personally their self titled album is my favorite, because it's just so raw, and the songs have amazing riffs and great meaningful lyrics. But I have loved every album they have done, and I can defiantly see that Crisis was a album for the crowd and for Dallas.
I got lucky in 2009 when I saw you guys live at Warped Tour in Orlando. I'll never forget that crazy show you guys put on, would give anything to see something like that again.
I didn't find this band in high school, but when I listen to Alexisonfire I feel like I am back in those days and I can relate to the feeling the rest of you guys have.
Personally I reckon this was their worst album. I mean there are some great individual tracks but as a whole I don't think it works very well, plus it has some really shitty songs on it like 'Keep it on Wax.'
Fair enough. It's my personal favorite, to be honest. The songwriting spoke most to me, and I prefer the melodious tracks over their more aggressive style.
no weak songs just musical progression....different drummer better song writers different songs...I personally love the crisis album and both bonus track definitely rock hard with diversity
This is my first comment on youtube and felt it necessary only to say, this album marked the death of Alexisonfire and the birth of some other band...with no name.

Where is Episode 4?!

I hope they make a documentary for Dog's Blood, that was an insanely good EP.
meh... It's ok... I like the reworking in Death Letter better
< 3 Great series, I'm very excited for Old Crows Young Cardinals
I'm loving this album series! These guys will forever be the best.
These episodes have been my anticipation every week. I think Im more excited for buying the box set on Christmas than actually Christmas itself...
This was the tour I got to see them play with Saosin and The Receiving End of Sirens. One of the most memorable experiences of my life.
Crisis and Watch Out were my favourite albums by them, and still some of my top albums to this day!
Billy Talent and Alexisonfire really changed the heavy music scene in Canada. They broke it open for so many artists.
My favorite album from them. One of my all time favorite records, from any band.
I find it very interesting to hear everyone's point of view as to where the band was going at that moment.
love this series so much thanks for doing them. This was my favourite record
I love this band! So bummed they are done, but the indelible mark they left on independent music is awesome! AOF forever...
My favourite album. Just so many amazing songs.

That awkward moment, when you realizing that Wade's beard is in shape of Wu-Tang Clan logo......Damn...
Fack moi. I love these guys so much!
My favorite AOF album. 💚💀
The best cd ever
The Only Band Ever.
Awesome stuff
Watch Out, Alexisonfire, Old Crows/Young Cardinals, Crisis....

Please! You! 5 guys! Get back Alexisonfire!!!!!
When they say this was an album for the stage they weren't fucking kidding. When I saw them they played half this album and the crowd was fucking wild

keep it on wax was pretty weak for sure, but I still love all the albums in different ways.
