Guess I'm the first one to comment. Visited Hainan several years ago, was beautiful and the people wonderful. Hi from Wisconsin in the US to all out there.
Greetings from America. Thank you for such amazing, interesting and beautiful videos. Don't know why I keep feeling like crying watching this video. I love China and Asian ppl. Want to travel myself. Don't know when. My ancestry is Eastern Europe. You produce such beautiful, professional videos. Be safe and careful and healthy. Hope you can visit with Flo again soon. Very much respect and appreciate and honor you. God bless you.
Because these are ordinary people and their daily lives, she showed us the exact the local people’s real lives, only truth and facts have that power to make people feel like crying
@LuciaMei Thank you for good word. I love the ppl so much. Have watched many videos about Chinese ppl on different channels. Other Asian countries as well. Much respect and honor for them. But of course, all ppl have their unique, special beauty. My heart is touched. Have a great day and life.
@@gregjillson9351 Thank you! Though there are different cultures, different traditions, American ppl, or European ppl, or Asian ppl, we are same! Hi Yan: My Great Grand Aunt Florence had a home there in the 1930’s, a Jewish family, but moved to Shanghai when the Imperial Forces of Japan invaded the island and set fire to all the villages. Shanghai, with its more than twenty synagogues and pre-war Jewish population over 20,000 was the ideal place to migrate to. I’ve personally been to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Beijing, but not to Hainan yet. ❤Diane, Vancouver, Canada. FrMR29/24. 06:41 pm
@@johnrivers3813Hi John: Just heard from Mom that there are still about two thousand people of Jewish descent living in Shanghai now, but only two of the twenty synagogues are still operational. The others, while still standing, have been repurposed and still can be found via special guided tours out of the Shanghai Museum of Jewish Refugees and Heritage that operates out of the “Ohel Moishe Synagogue.” Mom says my Great Grandfather is buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Hong Kong on Shan Kwong Road (“Sahn Gong Doe” in Cantonese, the Chinese dialect prevalent in Hong Kong) in the Happy Valley district. Although I have recently travelled to Shanghai and Hong Kong with my university classmates I did not visit the places I have mentioned. After conversations with Mom tonight I think I must revisit these two Chinese cities and experience the remnants of my cultural and family history in China. ❤Diane, Vancouver, Canada. I just want to say thank you for your warm like videos that are beautifully edited. The video format shows you care about your craft and you are doing an amazing job. This is nothing like other YT channels that feel cringy, I'm really glad I stumbled upon your channel. I'm just afraid that after your videos (and I watched a lot) I won't be able to find such content elsewhere. Please keep up with your work and thank you once again! ❤
yes. Much like with Russia, America has a lot of positive things to say about its people. So much animosity exists because of governments. Pray for those moments of peace and cooperation.
Expat from America, i’ve designed over 20 resorts and hotels all over Hainan. Wonderful local seafood and beautiful coastline and amazing wildlife in the mountains. Love the food, fruit and the Hainan yellow chili is the best on Hainan Chicken/rice. Wonderful ethnic minorities, and was the first point of contact with Arab traders with a large population of Muslim community. the floating seafood market is unusual. But prices are high because season is short. but nice report . Xie Xie Ni
Thanks for your sharing 🙏 Always happy to see your videos. And unfortunately I hope one day all people here in the U.S and Chinese citizens will share more of friendships😊
I feel I landed in china too because of this episode UNSEEN CHINA. Different from what we heard from anybody because of this I love much more china. Yan you brought us here to there. Xiexie🥰
That floating colony is on clear & clean water - amazing ! No garbage debris or litter. Admirable Chinese are so socially responsible. Don't think you can find any cleaner floating village anywhere else in the world.
I always love these places! Finding these places that are floating, underground, airborne, it raises so many questions. Like why was it made this way? How does a place like this grow? What sort of culture arises from having to live in such an atypical place? Not to mention they are almost always very beautiful....

The water is so clean and clear there is no litter! Amazing! How they manage that with so many houses over the water?
