[REAL LIFE] I Get to Fly a B-17!

This is one of 6 flying B-17s left in the world. I'm lucky enough to get the chance to volunteer and fly it with the Wings of Freedom Tour, by the Collings Foundation. I strapped a GoPro to the horizontal stabilizer of a B-17 for a nice evening flight.

Beautiful video. If you get a chance, consider strapping a Rylo cam instead of a GoPro. It shoots in 360 4k (but wait for it...), then you can pan around in post production to get the exact shots you want as a traditional 2d 1080p video. As an example, you could pan to a shot looking 90 degs left on the midfield downwind or during the base turn.
