Brilliant to see you guys finally get back onto An Idiot Abroad. Anything with Karl is always an instant thumbs up 😊👍 "I'm getting advice here from a cabbage" 😆
My fave part of this episode is seeing Karl laughing when Ricky tells him that he would've fallen from a greater height than the land dive if he just fell over, and that Stephen Merchant would beat his record if he fell over too!
Never thought I’d be spending my evenings laughing my arse with with a couple of chubby hillbilly’s with intermittent electricity! Good work fellas and thanks for the company! From the UK 👍
Hiya cheaky fellas! I recently saw Spencer’s message about a friend of yours ….💔There’s something I have to tell you boys…..You have no comprehension of how special you have been to me…. You are the big wise brothers I never had….. to laugh at Karl Pilkington dancing alongside me around a wonder of the ancient world singing “I just can’t get enough! There are no words to portray how you support a very lonely lady… TOGETHER we have seen Karl Pilkington through thick and thin….. emerge with Warwick Davis in Venice……. Going to test your theory lads. If I meet a girl tonight & take her home, and she gives me that little look & asks 'Have you got any condoms?' I'll just say 'No... But I've got WD40 & duct tape.' I'll let you know how I got on tomorrow... Or whenever I get back out of jail.
12:00 I had a different reaction. I was proud that Karl didn’t give in to peer pressure :) He made it very clear he didn’t wanna go, and he didn’t. I wasn’t surprised
my top 5 bucket list of things to do are skydiving, touring the states, be at a Super Bowl, go on a cruise vacation, and watch my daughter get married.
Bungee jump for 100k special? I think what Karl actually does later in the series in America, is far more impressive than any bungee jump he could’ve done. A lot of people will do a bungee; not many people will ever think of doing what he ACTUALLY does
@@Martin-88 it’s been out what 10 years? It’s also in the intro of every episode and they did a reaction to Best Bits and it included it… not sure my comment on someone else’s comment is ruining anything
@@percyplays8842 If they've already seen it then fair enough. I just thought it seemed a bit silly to mention something in a later episode which they clearly haven't got to yet.
I think the land dive was way better than the bungie. The bungie seems very corporate, you turn up, get in line, get in a box, jump and go home, like a factory line. With the land dive there was so much appreciation and happiness, the focus was on him doing it, not how high it was. Reminds me of a time I was at a football match in the middle of an African safari, the local African team lost to Ireland (visiting), despite this the African players burst into a song and dance to celebrate the winners
He didn't choose bungee jumping, he was pressured and put in that situation, I find your reaction quite unreasonable! When he specifically said NO before leaving, it was cruel and unreasonable to out him in that situation. Is it any wonder he stopped trusting them and it ended... He put up with a hell of a lot more than I would have done. Lets see Gervais and the other one do this sort of thing where they have no control over what they do and where they go - even when they've explicitly rejected the scenario!
Eh I think the whole concept of every show from day 1 has went over your head. That's the whole concept of the show, Karl knows it. He's never trusted them & although he's not very bright, I think he realised after S1 E1 how things were going to go. And he definitely knew when agreeing to do Season 2 how things were going to go. Karl had total control on whether he done any of it, nobody forced him to do the show. Lighten up a bit.
@@AD270479 You do know Karl Pilkington is an English presenter, comedian, actor, producer, and author. Does he sound "not very bright" to you? He's got a long-term partner of over 30 years... It was, / he was freezing cold & wet. A perfect example showing the reality of the world, not the false marketing & advertising of a place. A perfect example of taking the subject out of their comfort zone.
Always great to see another Idiot Abroad reaction. Series 2 is probably my personal favourite. Loved the whole bucket list concept (making Karl do things other people want to do before they die lol) was great and the series finale is probably the funniest episode of the entire show in my opinion. Without spoiling anything (and being as vague as I can), the scene with Dr Frank along with Karl on the shopping channel are pure comedy gold.
Some of the people from the tribe including the guy on back of the car were part of an amazing channel 4 series called Meet The Natives. First series they come to Britain and get a feel for the culture and the next series is in the US. They're all great characters, would be a fun one for you to watch.
I'm not a royalist but did have an mbe off the queen for service to coastguard and was invited to St Paul's service with Philip and a garden party at Buckingham Palace guess that was my 15 minutes But having ptsd I enjoyed it as much as I could.
My bucket list, things I definitely want to do, barely thought about it but: Trip to Australia, scuba dive great barrier reef See a whale See Northern lights Captain a traditional frigate ship Meet a woman I will love, Have at least one child and Be a good father.
Very interesting that straight away I'm thinking of bucket list things that are very easily attainable compared to spencer, subtle difference embodying the American dreamer Vs the Brit managing hopes based on likelyhood🤔
Shark diving is just absolutely the best done it twice now. Once in a cage in South Australia, the other was in a marine life centre, Melbourne Australia
After leaving the British army 44 years old, I decided to go backpacking around Australia for 3 months. it's one of those things on my bucket list. Did it before i settled into my new life on civi Street
Egypt, I been there, really hot and sandy and I got food poisoning from a banana from banana island, no joke. I ended up puking by the hotel swimming pool after I had this mango lassi drink.
These 2 in battle during the Idiot Abroad episodes to see who can make the most bizzarely rediculous comment during an episode. This time, Daniel. In a previous episode, Spencer, who still holds the golden crown though for most bizzare & insane comment ever. So if you don't think Karl's freezing his ass off already in the South Pacific, wait until he gets himself on over to the US and Alaska.
The craziest thing for me is that Karl couldn't do the bungee jump, but as you see in the intro, he stands on the wing of a plane that does stunts thousands of feet in the sky!
In 3rd series Karl goes with the little man Warwick Davies around the world. Really good. Then Ricky and Stephen did Life is Too Short with Warwick where he interacts with a lot of famous actors. Derek and Extras are also good but the best thing Ricky has done is After Live 1 - 3. Very good.
Another great Karl reaction -well done guys. Any chance you can raise your volume just a bit? The videos are fine but not catching everything you two are saying, Cheers m'dears.
My bucket list is way too lofty. One of them is to do a live show in front of thousands of people. Like, who gets to do that? Maybe 0.0001% of the population? 😂

This is not quite correct, I went to a grammar school and anyone could sign up to the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. In fact some of the highest achieving pupils in the school did it.
Great as always guys. But I have to defend Karl a bit regarding the bungee jump. As he said before he got there he wasn’t going to do it. So it’s there fault for sending him to do something said he wouldn’t do in the first place.
I deffo recommend you watch series 3 he's joined by Warwick Davis a dwarf that's been in the Harry potter films (he played one of the professor's,can't remember the name) especially the India trip it's Karl at his best
