Hey Spencer and Daniel. UK fan here. I love the Idiot abroad series and love you guys watching them. I think it's part of British humour to rip on your friends and do stuff to them like Ricky and Steve do to Karl 😂. But did you know that Karl did a show called "The Moaning Of Life" after idiot abroad?? You will love those too!! Keep up the good work
i was bought up in Africa in the 60 s and spent 15 years there, those huts are hot inside ,but we never lived in one ,nothing has changed in all those years and all the charities money half never reaches we its needed, hippos are more dangerous than any other they kill more people
Made me laugh I think more than any other bit in the series. That and his aggressive”I’m trying to watch King Kong ere!” On the whale watching episode.
Hi guy's, I'm from South Africa and wanted to let you know that the animals don't see you as a human in a car but only see it as 1 big animal. It's only if you leave the vehicle will things like lions see you as two objects and recognize you as something to eat. :)
Lads, Karl made beans on toast & cake & custard... because that's his limit. He can't cook, when they done the radio show together they made fun of him a few times because he spoke about going hungry or screwing the cooking up anytime Susanne left town for a few days.
Yes. Karl said that they had a deal. She made the food and he washed the dishes. My parents had the same agreement when I was a kid. We didn't have a dishwasher. It wasn't because my Dad couldn't cook, but because Mom was a stay at home mother at the time. They got married late. He was 36 and a neat freak, so he was actually never lived like a lot of single guys do...surrounded by take out boxes! Lol He had certain things that he made regularly like Chop Suey, Chicken and vegetable soup, homemade chocolate and homemade grape nut puddings, and homemade chunky style apple sauce. Later when my Mom went back to work he made dinner on the nights that she worked without a problem. I love that Karl made things that might seem exotic to the king, but every day to him. I still don't think I'll be putting baked brown beans on my toast anytime soon! Putting something like a poached egg on toast makes more sense to me. I guess it's all in what you're used to eating.
There's an interesting thing about open vehicles and lions. The thing is that lions for some reason don't see people as being a separate part of the vehicle when they're inside, but get off/out of the vehicle and you become fair game.
The Mountain Gorillas are absolutely worth doing. I did it from Rwanda, but it’s the same gorillas as Uganda, as the gorilla area is spread across 3 countries’ borders and the gorillas roam between them. It is a lot of walking, but there’s nothing like being that close to wild gorillas - we were told the rule is to stay 5 metres away from them, but that they don’t know that and if they come towards you to be curious, just stay still unless the ranger tells you move (as that means the gorilla wants to get past you) - the rangers are amazing and can read all the body language. I ended up close enough I could have touched the silverback. I can’t really put into words the feeling and atmosphere of being there.
Karl was trying to say the rhino is the second largest land mammal. I love Daniel’s Maryland Hoody, I’d like a T-shirt like that doubt we can get them in the uk
Not sure what he means by "biggest" . If you count all kinds of elephant as 1 then a rhino would be the 2nd heaviest land animal. "Big" isnt really a thing, as obviously a giraffe would beat anything on height but then you could say what about crazy long snakes.
Guys please please do the Mick Miller ‘Noddy’ sketch. Noddy was a cartoon character from the 80’s/90’s in the UK and Mick does a radio show with a drunk announcer….it’s brilliant and genius
Alright lads, I’ve only come across your channel in the last 2 weeks and I love it already. I’m from Ireland and if you want more Irish content, I’d suggest: Foil Arms and Hog - Comedy Trio that do sketches and live shows. I’d recommend the live shows over the sketches like “Motivation Talk to Prisoners”, “Regional Accent Discrimination”, “Songs for the Elderly” and “The Green Card Game Show”. (It’s very much Irish Humour do it would be interesting to see if you’d like it) Sgt Ducky - An Irish UA-camr who does animations about life in Ireland. I’d HIGHLY recommend his “An Accurate Guide to Ireland Series” as he goes over some of the - let’s call it more common aspects of Irish life. It’s a really funny and accurate look into Irish life. Sir Stevo Timothy - He does short sketches in his car about a racist, no-filter Irish Farmer. Definitely recommend but not for the faint of heart - but I’d recommend “There’s no Gays in Ireland”, “Interview with a Black Man” and “People in Wheelchairs Should be Thrown off Cliffs” A great, short thing you could watch is compilation of Irish news incidents. Irish news has some of the weirder interviews or moments you’d ever see. A comedian you should check out is Dara O’Briain (Oh-Bree-in). He’s up there with Tommy Teirnan for most people. He was the host of Mock the Week. Or what would also be interesting would be to see you guys react to the history of Ireland and how it separated from Britain
Well, I was eating beans on toast when I was just watching this now, and it's a good meal! Carbs, protein, one of your 5 a day, tastes good, fills you up AND it's cheap! Also yes Hippos are on of the most dangerous animals on the planet! Extremely territorial, generally aggressive, massive, heavy, and I can't remember the numbers but the force of it's bite is immense to say the least! I may be wrong but iirc they kill more people every year than any other animal?
I dunno, with online charitable people it might influence people to help others. Especially the stories from those who have taken time to follow up on them. Seen one chap giving a homeless chap a haircut and a job. He returned a month later to a woman who administers the business for her to say he is the most loyal hard working man she ever met. It could be luck. It could be set up, but hope is always there for those less fortunate. Some seek it, some do not.
Hippos are the deadliest land mammal on earth. They kill 100s of people every year, I once got chased by one but we were in a car at Kariba Dam in Zimbabwe
When Karl was talking to Steve, after building that hut. Anyone with a bit of brain and a bit of humanity should have understood, that he was saying, that he felt like he hadn't rally helped the situation, that he rally hadn't done enough, felt like he was pissing in the ocean, figuratively speaking. Yet Steve(everything I've seen of him, he comes off as a virtue signalling sociopath), got the impression, that Karl thought that there was no point in helping people.
Love you guys. But the different reactions when Karl and the guy tasted the shit (38:38 - 39:46) tells us who is the wife in this relationship. Hmm? Especially when that person follows up with ''I'd rather see a dick on here''. Me, I don't judge. Live and let live I say. It's all banter. Keep up the good work you two.
I don't zero to any charity which sounds selfish but i don't give to charity because i am selfish i don't donate due to the fact i don't know if 100% of the money donated goes to what they say it goes to and I'm going to be honest i don't think it does go to the charity its supposed to go to i think its just going in the pockets of those at the top of that charity. But also in todays world people are struggling to put food on the table let alone helping others even if you know 100% of the money goes to helping others like in the UK everything continues to rise but wages not equally rising to the same amount for example my wage as gone up an extra £20 a month while at the same time my rent as gone up a extra £15, basically everything as gone up. Luckily for me I'm fortunate enough not to be effected but people aren't fortunate enough I'm not saying I'm rich and living the life of a celeb but i do live a comfortable life and I'm grateful for that. So yes the world we live in today makes other countries worse off that require help since people are struggling to survive let alone giving to charities, I guess those that donate are mainly the wealthy that aren't effected and continue to live luxury life's. countries give loads of money to those in need and have done for years and yet still nothing changes therefore it seems to me is it actually go to what its supposed to go to since there is never any change despite countries give stupid amount of money.
Spencer can be really negatively opinionated. Love the content but sometimes that can get annoying. We ask you to react to things expecting you to like it not criticise it. And the the persistent pausing can be a bit frustrating too. Don't take it the wrong way, just a little constructive criticism...
What are you even talking about? When does he ever criticize the show? Spencer literally called it "the perfect episode" at the end. The pausing is part of the reaction. It's not like they ever pause for too long anyway. I don't know, I enjoy what they have to share. Otherwise I'd just watch the show without the reaction.
@@Psichotica7 the last time karl didn't jump he was like "fuck you karl", so what if he didn't jump i probably wouldn't either. And the johnny vegas thing getting 1 and half thumbs up was bs, i agree with daniel it was next level funny
I do t think he’s being negative intentionally, I think he states the obvious a lot, and sort of dosent get it, think he feels like he needs to over emphasise to us
@@Yorkie83 The only "negative" things Spencer (or even Daniel) bring up are to do with the shitty circumstances Carl is facing. Which is the point of the whole show. To watch his "misery" in a way. And thus, the comedy...
Hippos are far more dangerous than lions and cheetahs. They are as dangerous as elephants and they are extremely territorial so will often flip boats over and drown people. Let’s hope it works out for that couple 😂

As the great Sean Lock once said...
It’s like turning up at the aftermath of a earthquake, with a dust pan and brush and asking “Where do I start? “
Sex education is one of the most important lessons in South Africa, we had to start learning about the risks from about 10 years old.
Yeap same in CT they taught us about safe sex in 5th grade
Recently found your channel through these idiot abroad videos and have been through them all. Underrated channel, keep doing what you’re doing

The end did it for me, smiles and laughter all round from Karl and Ricky.
This was the first episode I ever saw on TV. This was how I discovered Karl.
Karl being "attacked" by a "Triffid" always gets me 🤣
Made me laugh I think more than any other bit in the series. That and his aggressive”I’m trying to watch King Kong ere!” On the whale watching episode.
Love the channel guys. Karl would make an excellent teacher imo 😂😂

+1 to this, this is what our safari guide/tracker told us as well.

Karl cracks me up 🤣
31.38 he says Countdown. A popular tv show in England. Started in the the 80s 😂

Yey loved watching this whist getting ready for work cheers me up!! Can’t wait for you to watch Route 66 😊👍🏻
From the UK 🇬🇧. Great reaction as aways guys. Thank you.
I miss the Smith's Cheese Flavoured Moments - they used to be part of the same range of smaller bagged pub snacks as the Bacon Fries and Scampi Fries.

those pesky killer zebras
Watch out for them as they hunt in herds lol
Woohoo! So excited for another one of these.
Next one is that one I’ve been waiting for all along boys! Karl is in Murica and it’s brilliant
Spencer spitting some truth, good to hear!
This is the best one, when he’s doing the bungee again
I was surprised how good Karl was with the kids at the school, since he doesn't have any kids of his own.
Karl was trying to say the rhino is the second largest land mammal. I love
Daniel’s Maryland Hoody, I’d like a T-shirt like that doubt we can get them in the uk

Karl's actually a great dancer

Hippos are some of the deadliest animals in Africa, killing at least 500 people a year. Hippos do attack humans.
Another great reaction lads!
What you guys have to remember is that poo is only grass not meat its ok poo no meat lol 😆

Cheese on toast with beans on top proper council kid meal 😍
I don't think they like their king.. Having Karl stick his hands in shit before cooking for him, lol
"I'd rather see a dick" is Spencer's version of Karl's, "I could eat a knob at night". We need a dance track remix of that!
Yeah Hippos are the animals with the most human kills every year guys, they got the highscore.
God the house Karl built………….. we are so lucky in UK & US
Hippos are the deadliest land mammal on earth. They kill 100s of people every year, I once got chased by one but we were in a car at Kariba Dam in Zimbabwe
It’s a frightening place . I was robbed twice in two days 😳
Yep, Hippos are THE most dangerous animal if Africa, even crocodiles avoid them.

Another great one guys. Hope you're all keeping well.
as you said 10:50 just calm down and not berserk kids are evil and they know how far can they go
Could've removed the annoying white line.
We tried to remove it. We dont know what happened or where the white line came from. Thanks for the comment, much love.
You're welcome👍
