Hell yeah much respect and dedication just for our enjoyment. You are a model citizen and all of Florida would be much better if there was more Trackers around. Instead we get stupid, angry, horrible drivers, and inconsiderate meat sacks.😅
DementedCaver when I worked there it was an all day thing of people being hot and not drinking enough water and dropping when gringotts opened the line was so long and people actually waited in that lines and just kept dropping
We got stuck in that room where Hagrid is on the ceiling on opening day for almost 4 hours. I wanted to die. I know how to be extremely safe on that ride now.
I got a call at 3 that my uncle (who I was pretty close to) died unexpectedly. This video popped up about a half an hour after that and I couldn't be more thankful! Thank you guys for doing what you do and bringing a little joy to our lives. Thank you Tim & Jen for bringing a little happiness to us!
Um, you do realize this could easily be an anomaly. It is dependent on the person's mood, crowd levels, time of year, etc. And July is not the best time to visit MOST of the theme parks in South Florida anyway.
Its that kind of tension in a movie where they show the viewers the threat but the characters don't know about it and you just have to sit there all tense 😂
I actually really enjoyed single riders as it was shorter for me. I waited two hours (with it breaking down a few times) but I still think knowing that it’s just a straight shot into the loading dock gave me hope and excitement.
I am thrilled to have found your channel! You & Jenn are so awesome!! Love your style of videos & the frequency that you post!! What a wonderful example of happy, witty, loving, creative, work together fabulously couple! ✌️❤️👍
I was about to comment about being excited for a future video where Tim gets to exclaim, “it’s going vertical!” And then... 11:02 Edit: also I love Jenn’s editing response to Tim at 12:50
For the Universal app you don’t have to be in the app to be able to get a notification for it, sometimes the app is delayed causing it to remind you minutes later after the ride opened.
capitanagaby10 :D yeah this is accurate because the ride didn’t open till 12:50 that day! Like 15 min after Tim got out of the car so it was the right time for the notif
I appreciate you putting in the work to get the information for us the viewers, because I don’t wait more than 20 min for any ride. If you didn’t do this I would never get a chance to see the queue. Great job!
It weirds me out that all theme parks haven’t switched to tapu tapu like stuff to keep lines down. I live nearby and would love to ride the ride but it isn’t worth 2 and 1/2 hours of standing in the hot sun
For some reason, the single-rider line at Expedition Everest (at Disney’s Animal Kingdom) seems to move fairly quickly and it is also in a 2 seat-per-row configuration. Obviously, this is a much more popular attraction right now. Hopefully that means that the single-rider line will be useful in the future.
Hey Tim. Thanks for trying things out for those of us that can't. Love your videos. Found y'all early this year and I'm binge watching old videos. I've gotten 3 years back. Good times.
I rode it 3 times last friday with the wait time posted at 3 hours. I waited about only an hour each time. For me, the single riders was only about 10 mins Slower than the regular line.
Speaking of HHN, can’t wait for your HHN coverage! We discovered your channel when we moved to Fort Lauderdale from Missouri two years ago and now have a HHN tradition thanks to your videos. Helping us live our best Floridian lives ever since!
We did Universal in Japan last year and went in the single rider line for ‘The Flying Dinosaur’ and had exactly the same issue! All the standard line folks got through much faster. I think we had 15 people in front of us for the single rider line and it took 2hrs and 30 mins 😵
Don’t get me started on this. Firstly I’m in Orlando currently and I’ve been attending the park on my own as my friend I’m travelling with has been sick. Single rider was an amazing idea for me at first as it enabled me to jump on pretty quickly without the awkwardness and loneliness of being in the stand by queue by myself for long periods of time. However as I got further around the parks, single rider became even longer because large families of around 6-10 people and also large travelling summer camp groups were queuing in the single rider queue. I know that anyone can queue in single rider but my god, surely they would get on quicker in their groups rather than 1 by 1. It’s the only thing that’s really let this trip down for me. I sound mardy but the humidity is a killer when you’re queuing in single rider for 3 hours plus!
on most of the rides its good single rider but not on hagrids im telling u from experience its kind of the same time but as he said no air conditioning,a lot of sun,no water fountains and on hagrid it only is 2 seats so u would get to ride in it just if there is a party of 3,5,7 and stufff like that and most people go on families of 2,4,6 I might just be a kid but I know about this stuff i used to live in florida and had the universal anual pass and ive went to hagrid with my mom and waited 5 hours and then another day i went tru single rider and it was the same wait and worse
I could literally cry I was at universal all day yesterday and didn’t run into you Tim!! I was in line for Hagrid around 245 starting and got on in 2 and a half hours! They opened the single rider line halfway through us being in line and the person who rode next to me from single rider only waited one hour! It’s such a hit or miss. ALSO the preshow was down by the time we got to it around 4 so we actually didn’t get to see the preshow in the regular line just after you.
At the gym today, I saw a commercial for Universal Studios Hollywood and saw Tim and Jenn on a rollercoaster. I got so excited when I saw them I about fell off the treadmill.
The thing is that when people think "Single Rider" that they're going to hop an entire line where people are waiting 90+ minutes. While that might work in theory, when the "newness" of a ride is bringing in the masses to where wait times are hours long, single rider will not work as quick as you'd like it to. Take Test Track at Epcot, for example, when that ride was new - single rider was just as long as the stand-by entrance. Now, you can hop single rider and be out of there in 20 mins. It'll be awhile before you can use single rider to your advantage on this ride. Thanks for the report, Tim!
I have the feeling that this ride is gonna be like Gringotts. It's been there for a while, but both the regular and single rider lines continue to get backed up because what you stated. Even worse, some people are foolish enough to think they can ride with their entire family if they go single rider even though they are told before they enter that their party will be separated.
It doesn't make much sense for Universal to put a single rider queue on Hagrid's especially when Thirteen at Alton towers uses the same ride system (minus the launches) and only allows people with Fast track tickets and Ride access bands to skip the queue
I was there at Islands of Adventure the same day you were there (210 minute wait, Women’s Soccer match at NBC)! If I had known you were there, I would have hunted you down and asked for an autograph!
Waiting 3-4 hours for a ride? That a crap ton of hours cut from your day! Arrive at the line at 12pm, get on ride on 4pm, finish say 4:10pm! That's nuts!
So real for sharing this thank you Tim Tracker. God bless to you and your beautiful new family. Keep bringing these beautiful Florida amusement park vlogs..someone once said your videos help with depression and they do..just seeing Florida helps me. Thank you.
They should have water stations in the single rider line if the wait is going to be as long as the regular line! People are going to pass out in this heat. Today in the Tampa area the news said the heat index made it feel like 112 degrees! I can't go to the parks in this heat. Thanks for sharing your trips there Tim!
I’ve only been to Universal Orlando twice and I’m not a huge fan. But I love the mixture you have between US, Disney, Seaworld... etc. it makes me actually want to go back and see what I’m missing! Especially with the new additions to Harry Potter!!
Thank you for this amazing video! I can't wait to experience this ride in August! I've heard something about not being able to carry ANYTHING with you and we HAVE to pay for lockers. I keep my phone and sunglasses in a fanny pack (if that's what they still call it these days haha!) around my waist during rides. Will they allow that? Or will I be expected to pay for lockers all day?
Hey Tim, how do you feel about single rider for Hagrid's? Not sure I know what your stance is on that... haha thank you for wasting 3 hours of your day to let us know to stay away from that line 😉♥️
That’s definitely rough on single riders to miss out on AC and the preshow!!! Thank you SO much for posting this so I know to avoid it but I’m sorry for your less than great wait!!
Tim and Jen I love your vids, I live in the UK and have only been to Florida to visit the parks once and I was 11! I’m now 23 and looking to book a visit again with my fiancé and our 2 year old daughter! These videos help me through, I definitely miss these parks!
I am just dying that you used the Nazaré Tedesco meme at 12:50 I think you probably don’t even know what it is, but it’s a very famous Brazilian meme of a villain in a 90’s telenovela!! LOL LOL Great video as always!!!
Single rider is definitely worth having: Expedition Everest single-rider has never been more than 10-20 minutes for me (and it has 2 seat cars). Hagrid's issue is that it keeps going down. When I was there last week it was going down at least once per hour (and completely blue clear skies), so looking forward to when they get the kinks worked out as I think the ride's capacity will be high (the loading station is designed to not stop -- similar to Wonder Woman roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas). And, I agree with Tim -- they really need to get the AC fixed with the $300 million budget they have/had.
Same experience for me and my daughter. Rode on June 21. When we neared the front of the line, the normal line had some problem holding them up, so the workers just waved the single rider line through. Everyone in the regular line were pissed! Edit: That stairwell for the single rider line is miserable in the heat!
GO FIRST THING! Dont let the huge crowd intimidate you... We entered the park at 8:50, not sure if it’s because we qualify for early admission for staying on property or not. We followed a stampede of people through Seuss Landing, circled through some old part of the park, walked up and through the queue, and didn’t really “wait” until we got to Hagrid’s Hut. Then we kept moving through the scenery. We were through the line and the ride in a little over an hour. It was ABSOLUTELY worth it! My family of 3 had a single rider join us. He only waited about 20 minutes. Awesome ride!!!
Your explanation of why the single rider line doesn’t work is 100% spot on. At Alton Towers the ride 13 has a single rider line and it has the same problem as this. Very annoying.
If you can get in the line around the part where its past the hut, right before the bridge starts, it should take about an 1:20 to get through (with no breakdown or rain delay) done it twice past two weeks around that same starting point even with a 180 minute posted wait time. also this was a little later in the day, around 4 or so
They changed it for the mornings now, they use the barricades,I only waited about 20 minutes bc I got there so early, I loved it and that was the first time I rode it last week
We met Tim in line for the ride. He was in the single rider line right in front of us. We were in the regular line. We got on the ride way before Tim. The ride broke while we were on it. We then got Ruby passes to ride again. We went back in line and actually saw Tim still in the single rider line. Crazy!
My family and I rode Hagrid's 3 times in the single rider line today, got very lucky! We all would have loved to meet you in the park but there's still a week left in our trip with 5 days in Disney Parks.
Love the Sponge Bob add. Thanks for the little details on how to ride. I'm not a fan of waiting in line that long, kuddos to you for your patience. Quick question...... Have you guys ever done a Clearwater marine aquarium video? That is a place I would like to visit one day and wanted to know if it would be worth going to see Winter the dolphin.
I think I my head is spinning from watching that video. 😂 That was insane but funny. I think the heat was finally getting to you Tim. I think US owes you a drink for that pain. 🙂
I was there in May of 2019. I had the express pass and was always in the single rider line. I really didn't have a problem at all. A lot of people say they will never stand in a 3 hour or more line to get on a 3 minute ride. I had fun !! 😁😁😁😁 Same with fun and short wait when I went to Universol Studio's. 😄😄😄😄😄
I rode this the first Saturday it was open. We happened to walk through at 2pm and it was posted as a 3 hour wait time. The ride kept breaking down so it was 5 hours and 10 minutes. I would never wait that long again, but it was totally worth it! I would have regretted going all the way to Universal and not having ridden it. I had booked our trip in December BEFORE the opening was announced 😂 Grand opening was the day we checked in.
(my comment is in no way trying to hate or be rude, this is just my experience always being at the parks and being involved. i love tim and jenn and i love the content and his stance on single rider is really smart, but this comment was just from my personal experience). if you're riding single rider, it's going to take a while. many people come in even groups, so there's quite a wait ahead of you. this is a fairly new ride, so the lines are going to be long either way and you should account for rides going down. there's so much testing that has to be done and it's something that has to be dealt with throughout the day. usually the ride will open around noon each day, and what i did ended up getting us on the ride in one hour (even the workers were surprised). my friends and i got to the park at nine and rode two rides before heading to starbucks in the front of the park. we got in line for hagrid's at eleven and went single rider. i split to go put my stuff in the locker and met up with my friends in the line. the ride opened at 11:50 and i, the last one to get on the ride, got off at the ride at 12:10. it's most likely a time thing when you get there. if you want to see everything, by all means go to the regular line, but if you don't mind a) going in early and b) willing to miss the pre-show, by all means i think it's a good idea. if anyone is considering going to the parks, please read through this to know :)
Just wanted to thank you both, because me and my bf are vacationing in Orlando and we are going on a tour at the animal sanctuary (to see the sloths!) this weekend, because you guys told about it in a video! Im so excited! I emailed them from home (Norway) as soon as I finished watching. One question: Tomorrow is 4th of July. Any advice on how to get the best experience of the celebrations here in Orlando? We have never been in the US on July 4th and all I know is there will be fireworks, "Everywhere, you cant miss it!" according to one taxi driver.
As a fellow Floridian, you have my respect standing out in the Florida summer heat and humidity making these videos regularly.
I can't imagine doing it. I live 30 minutes from the mouse and he won't see me again until late fall.
Hell yeah much respect and dedication just for our enjoyment. You are a model citizen and all of Florida would be much better if there was more Trackers around. Instead we get stupid, angry, horrible drivers, and inconsiderate meat sacks.😅
Kharax82 it’s been so hot
It makes you wonder how many folks they have to scoop up off of the sidewalk during your average summer day in the parks.
DementedCaver when I worked there it was an all day thing of people being hot and not drinking enough water and dropping when gringotts opened the line was so long and people actually waited in that lines and just kept dropping
You could easily watch 2 or 3 whole Harry Potter movies waiting in line for this ride. Thats crazy🤪
Someone should do this and make a video of it.
They should TOTALLY set up TV's throughout the line and just loop all the movies to play all day long. That is amazing. Hear this, Universal!
Vegas Hawk not true I waited 2:25:00 so like 1
I think on opening day it would have been possible to watch at least the first 4 movies with some people waiting 11 hours to ride.
Vegas Hawk I’m not sure you know how long those movies are😂 he could probably watch around 1-1.5🤪🤪🤪
We got stuck in that room where Hagrid is on the ceiling on opening day for almost 4 hours. I wanted to die. I know how to be extremely safe on that ride now.
Rachel Omg! :(
I got stuck in there for a rain delay. They turned it off
It's so loud in that room! Rolly Coasty.
That room is so annoying
@@justgacharaven2307 ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL ITS A SMALL SMALL WOOOORLD
I noticed that a lot of family's and groups go on the single rider line thinking they will get on faster. But they make it longer.
This is 100% true.
I noticed this on the Rock n Roller Coaster too when I was stuck in the single rider line for almost an hour. So many groups in the line.
Yeah they don’t understand the point of a single rider line, maybe if your a two and your fine with not being together then do it
This has happened to me all week! It’s awful and unfair on us actual single riders
ikr it just annoys even tho i never been on the ride like just go in the line you belong!
I love Jenn just dropping memes into the video while editing 😂

That's life in Orlando for ya.
I got in the single rider line right after a breakdown and rode it in 45 mins. Got SUPER lucky!

Thanks for investigating the single rider line in the heat so we don’t have to! Much appreciated.

I’m in Orlando. There was a heat advisory with a heat index of 110 today... it was hot. Extremely hot.
You are very welcome!
Lol I love how I can tell you are upset the whole time by the long queue for single rider. I agree it's not that great for 2 seater rides. 🤣
At least I tried it once. Hopefully it will slow down once the ride has been open for a while.
@@TheTimTracker I can't wait for it to slow down as well
Tim at the beginning of the video: Maybe we'll try the single rider line

Maybe by next August. Be careful it seems to be mostly outside bring tons of water.
I'm leaving Ireland on the 28th of August and were going to the parks and stuff 29th
I am just dying that you used the Nazaré Tedesco meme at 12:50
I think you probably don’t even know what it is, but it’s a very famous Brazilian meme of a villain in a 90’s telenovela!! LOL LOL
Great video as always!!!
12:48 lol Jen your editing skills are hilarious!
Great job
Did single riders last week on Wednesday with my daughter.
Best ride there. So worth the wait
Lol love the math lady meme. Cool to see Oregon represented with Voodoo in Orlando!
note to self: don't do single rider on Hagrids! lol
Agreed!
Lol, great editing for Tim’s great explanation of the “single rider math” Jenn!! 😊
The elvis burger at a local burger joint to me is peanut butter and jelly with a doughnut plus bacon I think and it's amazing.
We all would have loved to meet you in the park but there's still a week left in our trip with 5 days in Disney Parks.
editing queen jenn strikes again at 12:49
That wait was crazy! Your so dedicated. I'm going back this weekend but I'm staying away from this ride for a couple more weeks.
tim and jen i just want you to know how happy your videos make me and all the rest of your fans i hope i can meet you one day at the parks
Hey Tim , really appreciate your updates , flying into cabana Bay in a couple of weeks time from the UK cannot wait
I liked how Tim and Jen incorporated the Spongebob meme into this video.
I’m a Florida resident and throw a fit when I wait two hours for Flight of Passage, lol. You’ve got strength.
When Jenn added that math pic...🤣 I just died...
I think I my head is spinning from watching that video. 😂 That was insane but funny. I think the heat was finally getting to you Tim. I think US owes you a drink for that pain. 🙂
So glad you made this video. I’ll be there next week and was thinking I’d try the single rider line. Not anymore! 😄
I was there in May of 2019.
I had the express pass and was always in the single rider line.
I really didn't have a problem at all.
A lot of people say they will never stand in a 3 hour or more line to get on a 3 minute ride.
I had fun !! 😁😁😁😁
Same with fun and short wait when I went to Universol Studio's.
Thanks for the heads up.
I’m getting so excited to see baby tracker!! Love your videos keep up the wonderful work!!!!
I just love your info on the parks Tim, it keeps me in touch with Orlando until we return! Love to you and Jen and Tiny Tracker x
