They just arrested someone for Tupac Shakur’s murder, so never say never. Someone still may come forward with information that will lead to the killer. My heart goes out to her loved ones.
she was assassinated and stalked by an assassin not a crazed fan... what these docu-lies do not tell you, is what she was investigating that got her killed
I thought the same. It was obviously a professional killing. There's not one iota of doubt about it and her brother probably thinks the same, but it's safer for him not to appear to question anything.
Yes indeed a coldly callous interpretation - I am staggered that a loving brother/relative could phrase the audacious murder of a beloved sister without a hint of pain or sadness. Ah well, everyone expresses grief in different ways...I guess
Yes ,agree with you .He also seems v detached from the awful happening .I am Irish but I loved Jill and saw her as the very epitome of a lovely ,successful intelligent woman .I remember clearly when the murder happened and it still affects me now .Women celebrities and women in general are vulnerable .A lot of horrible men out there with evil intent .R.I.P.Jill .
RIP poor Jill. She certainly knew something and had to be permanently silenced. something she saw at the BBC..probably linked to Saville et al. but due to the Met police and the BBC will will never know as it's being covered up airtight.
Utter nonsense! It's a favourite urban myth that Jill Dando was investigating a secret paedophile ring at the BBC, Jimmy Savile, etc. In fact there's no evidence she was doing any such thing. When she was murdered, Jill was preoccupied with nothing more controversial than her own wedding plans. Jill Dando read the news, she was no hard-nosed investigative journalist. She was as vanilla as they come with her holiday and antique shows. If she was this anti-paedophile crusader, she would hardly have been pals with Cliff Richard, knowing all the rumours that swirled around about him and young boys!
0:02 I was at the National Television Awards at the Royal Albert Hall that chilly Tuesday night, 27th October 1998, and clearly recall Jill Dando's arrival. All eyes were on her, she looked a million dollars in that glamorous, head-turning red dress. She was with her fiance-to-be Alan Farthing (they announced their engagement on January 31st 1999). She truly glowed, it was clear she was in a wonderful place in her life, happy and successful, both professionally and personally. Jill later presented one of the awards at the huge industry bash hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald. Sitting in the audience I remarked to my friend how spookily similar to Princess Diana she looked. Diana had died the previous year, aged 36. We would never have believed Jill Dando would be killed in an even more violent and horrific way 6 months later, aged 37. Truth really is stranger than fiction. 'It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive', as the saying goes. There's no doubt Jill Dando was travelling hopefully, and the happiest she'd ever been when her life was cruelly stolen from her. Among her hopes for the future were a happy marriage, and children. She gave every indication she'd be a wonderful mother. Her own beloved mum Jean died at 57, after battling leukaemia. Jill was just 24. when she lost her. Mother and daughter both suffered serious health issues in their lives. How her mum must have fretted over the 3-year-old Jill, just a tot when she had life-saving surgery for a hole in her heart and a blocked pulmonary artery. She sailed through the major ops, and was set to enjoy a normal life-span. I guess there's some mercy that her mum never knew of her murder - Jill's poor dad Jack had to suffer that tragedy to the end of his days. Coping with her mother's devastating cancer diagnosis and death, must have been horrendous blows for Jill. She was buried beside her mum in Weston-Super-Mare, and sadly her dad Jack subsequently joined them in 2009. It's devastating to think of the kids she'd have raised with so much love. Children who because of this act of evil, were never born. Which reminds me of another famous quote: 'For of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'It might have been'.
Actually he the brother hardly knew her, I think they come from a family that boarded out there kids, he was 11 years older then her, I remember watching him speak once and he was saying I only ever saw her Xmas times or holidays, maybe some upper class thing
Urban myth. Jill Dando admitted herself she was 'vanilla', it was her stock in trade and made her rich and famous. She was no hard nosed, investigative reporter.
That's an urban myth, there's no evidence she was doing any such thing. Jill Dando was no hard-nosed investigative reporter, working to expose a paedophile ring at the BBC - or anywhere else! She was as vanilla as they come, and preoccupied with nothing more controversial than her own wedding plans when she was murdered. If Jill Dando was so keen to expose predators, she would hardly have been pals with Cliff Richard, knowing all the unsavoury rumours about him and young boys!
@@shazanali692 Jill got a degree in journalism; a matter of public record. Unless you knew her, you would have no idea what she was doing in her job off-screen FFS.
Come on, she was a Tele prompt reader at best and did a holiday program, she wasn't a real journalist, BBC was known to hire secret service folks back then so maybe she was a spook

Hard contact execution, Markings on the recovered projectile showed no distinctive suppression device was attached. He had to shoot her at close range if the bullet was emptied of gunpowder, otherwise it wouldn't have penetrated from a distance, also reinforcing the probability of only one bullet. Slamming of gate as he fled the scene denotes an emotional content. Not something I'd expect from an contract killer. Premeditated & personal. It comes across to me as a crime of passion.
I was working in a pub behind the bar when the TV brought the news up. We were all horrified that such a friendly beautiful lady could be targeted like this 😔😢, tragic 🥺🇬🇧
I'm shocked at her brother's dispassionate dismissal that this murder was simply 'wrong place, wrong time'! He categorises his interest in the crime as a Journalist first, then as a member of the public before putting 'as a relative' last. Disgusting person. We're told the gun was a reactivated firearm. How could they tell this considering it's meant to be impossible to reactivate a deactivated firearm. Who owned the deactivated firearm? Why was it deactivated in the first place? Given the timeline from the neighbour, the murderer must have been with in feet of Miss Dando to be able to carry out the murder as described here. Regardless of the mis-direction of this video, this was not the work of an opportunist or a spurned stalker, this was most definitely an assassination. And it was not carried out by a foreign power or a gangland Kingpin. A lot of people know exactly who and why.
I think maybe Jill's Brother is acting in a Journalistic Fashion to try to separate his Heartache and look and present it over as if discussing a Stranger, it is a way of dealing with such grief, you have to remember that He lost his Mother, then Sister, then 10 Years later his Father - he has lost his whole Family which must be incredibly Traumatic!
My family has a tendency to be dispassionate and heartless towards family members that speak out about anything they do not want exposed. Stansfield Turner and George Washington Turner and William the Conqueror were also in my family and the Titanic was sunk over my inheritance and The Whistleblower was made over what Arkan’s Tigers and Balfour Beatty did to me and Montenegro just had tunnels dug into the high court war tribunal to steal records and computers and phones.
I've seen ring camera videos of men walking up behind women as they entered their homes. That's how I imagine this went down. He just walked up behind her like he owned the place and did the awful deed. It probably looked like nothing out of the ordinary until the killer's hand slipped and she screamed. This is an assassination no doubt about it.
My nan was a neighbour of jill dando in fulham, south London. My gran had to speak to the police back in the day when the murder happened. Very strange case cos my nan always swore she never heard a gun shot
Jill was shot dead with a hollow-point bullet fired from a 9mm handgun fitted with a silencer. They also held the gun right to her head. That was a professional hit, an assassination. Someone wanted this poor woman silenced, and quickly. Given this no one would’ve heard a gunshot.
The bullet that killed her, 9mm, because the killer was planning to shoot at close range, they could have carefully reduced the charge in the cartridge, less pressure and muzzle velocity so the shot is quieter, and if combined with a suppressor it would drastically reduce the sound.
Contract killing she was murdered because she knew too much about the kiddie fiddling that was going on and was going to blow the lid on the whole lot. They were all involved in a cover up including the police - surprised - so what do you think the honours system is all about?
What I can't understand , is, Jill seldom used Gowan Av. so how did the Murderer happen to be right behind her as she was opening the door. ? Must have been someone she knew.
He must have been following her from the boyfriend's house and that was his best chance when she arrived at her front door. If he'd waited someone else might have turned up and they didn't want that.
She was visiting Gowan avenue on a weekly basis, in fact a Monday. It's not impossible for her killer to become Cognizant about her routine. Especially somebody close to her. Colleagues, ex partners.
Wrong place at the wrong time? The brother is crazy. Of course the killing was an execution. Jill was killed with a gunshot to her head. Why she was murdered is something we probably never will find out but she was the target.
Agreed, it had to be targeted and professional. Someone benefited from her murder - but it isn't clear who. If this was a terrorist/political act by an Eastern European group - or whoever else - why didn't they proudly claim responsibility?
@@joecurran2811 hmm? Where's Cliff fit into all this then? Kitty? Harry Web? The homosexual that thinks he's a Christian? You know the one? Visits to Elm Guest House? Lives with his agent boyfriend? Pretends he's heterosexual..... yeah..... that one.
It was To the day she tried on her wedding dress at Harrods previously weeks ago. Left there in her door way with her engagement ring 💍 on display for Helen doble to see . The killer even closed her gate. According to a witness Barry Lindsey who was strangely omitted from the enquiry stated she was seen arguing with a man . This for me rules out a contract killer , and may explain this as a crime of passion . Including the 40 seconds it took her to reach her doorway from setting her car alarm .
The Sketch of the killer at 7/8 seconds looks fittingly like her OH wouldn't you say? Bearing in mind he was the Queens Oncologist and also delivered all 3 of the Prince & the now Princess of Wales Kate's, Babies - Jill was about to expose the Peado Circle of the BBC and possibly Prince Andrew, I think her soon to be Husband had a big roll in this personally!
They are deliberately not connecting all of the dots. She was also it is believed concerned about the activities of (Sir)Jimmy Saville and his relationship with the royal family and maybe she got too close. Is it a coincidence that Alan Farthing, her fiance at the time, became the royal physician?
wasn't she investigating pedofilia at the BBC. It was a hit and I believe a very famous person was put close to her to keep tabs on what she was up to. He reported back and the decision made. My opinion. CR knows. ????😊
Do a review of Michael Stone , he too was convicted (Wrongly IMHO) of the murders of the mother and daughter in Kent in 1996! If there ever was a miscarriage of justice, his case highlights this

Surely, one of the unexplained mysteries of the Jill Dando murder is, with Jill living at her fiances home in Chiswick, and only occasionally visiting her her home in Gowan Avenue, how did the murderer know which day and time she would choose to return to her home. Very little on this point has been discussed. Was the murderer just fantastically lucky? Michael R
Opportunistic smart dressed fanatical killer who was seen randomly in the area for weeks beforehand. Available locally and walking distance from Gowan Avenue. That man is Barry George.
Just watching this on Netflix and gotta say as soon as I saw the boyfriend I immediately had a feeling he was something to do with it..If he didn’t kill her personally I think he hired a hitman..It’s always the nearest and he has the mardaugh shark eyes 👀..This will never be solved as these people have friends in high places..As for Barry George he lied when he said that wasn’t him in the photo 😂 you could tell straight away it was him..He was just a sad guy a fantasist who told constant lies but he wasn’t a killer..It doesn’t surprise me the police went after someone like him there a thousands of Barry George’s locked up round the world for something they never did..One more thing the arrogance and ignorance of the police here is off the scale.Maybe if you started to jail the police who deliberately steam roll vulnerable people in an attempt to get a conviction then it will make them think twice about it..
Chapter and verse? Bruce Lait: Remember that dude? He and his dance partner Crystal were on one of the London Underground trains that was bombed on 7 July. On BBC World here in sunny Japan he was shown in hospital meeting the Queen, and saying he wasn’t sure if he’d ever dance again. He must have done an impressive quickstep to land a prestigious job teaching dance at Cambridge University. Hope his partner was similarly included. The far more important point, not mentioned (why am I not surprised?), was that when interviewed by his local Cambridge newspaper, he explained that the bomb was underneath the train, evidenced by shards of the carriage floor being blown upwards. His dance partner and a police officer confirmed this, the officer saying: “Watch out for that hole in the floor, sir. That’s where the bomb was.” You must surely realise the significance of this. The mainstream media studiously ignored this story like it never happened. Bought off or what? Jack, the Japan Alps brit
Exactly. Savile made several comments about murder throughout his life that we all saw as jokes back in the day. One notable was on a chat show when he commented “nobody wants to die young” when questioned about people interfering with him. Add these to the constant hints he made about child abuse and the fact that a lot of what he said turned out to be clever confessions on air I definitely believe there was truth to this. If you look into Savile and the 9th circle there are several claims that he was involved in the grooming and murders of young boys abducted from a jersey children’s home on the former Tory prime minister Edward Heaths boat. We probably know about 40% of what Savile really got up to
According to his family he joked about wearing track suit bottoms so that he was quick on the draw. Which reads now as always looking for an opportunity to S.offend.

From Day one, once I heard the details of her murder, I was convinced, that this was a retalitary murder. And as eventually, details about the type of weapon and usage, came to light. And the fact that the Bullet used, had been skillfully alterd, to reduce the sound of it being Fired . HOW ? by removing some of the gun powder inside. This reduced the noise, but meant that the bullet velocity, would be reduced too. This explains the Gun muzzle being pressed against her head. Who was responsible ? A SERBIAN trained hitman. WHY ? because , the Bulkan war was still raging, and British planes had bombed the Capitol, hitting their TV broadcasting Studios, killing several staff, including their top, most popular news reader, a attractive young woman, like Jill. When this suggestion was put by many others, to British security, it was dissmissed by them as highly unlikely, as the Serbians hadn't the ability to introduce such professional groups into Britain, without their knowledge. Like the IRA didn't ??
Barry George was weird but he couldn't even put the chain back on his bicycle. His jacket was placed on a table in the police station used by firearms officers to clean their weapons.
I even think the killer is a foreigner..any Brit would have known her and could never commit a murder in such a way on such a sympathic person...the Yugoslavia connection is for me most likely...
The blue range rover was never traced-parked close to the scene and approached by a traffic warden, then seen racing through red lights. Also Barry George didn't help himself, lying about the picture of himself in photographs, previous bizarre behaviour and what did happen to the gun in the photograph ?. Lots of unanswered questions.
Barry George had Learning Disabilities and was acting in Fantasy at the Age of what a then 10 Year Old Child would have been! He was not Mentally at Age or Position to have carried out this Crime with such lack of DNA, he wasn't capable of being able to do the Crime, let alone be able to cover it so it would remain unsolved!
I'm confused why the killer got upclose to her when firing the shot. If the rounds were subsonic wouldn't it have been relatively quiet and the killer would risk a lot of evidence transfer as this sort feels sloppy but certainly personal.
They probably didn't know for sure, even if Jill Dando was personally targeted. The assassin may have lingered outside her home a few times before, and on that fateful day got lucky. She had visited that Gowan Avenue address 2 days before her murder, without incident. That Saturday, she found her fax machine was running out of ink (she lived at her fiance's home, and used her own house primarily as an office). That was her reason for returning on Monday - to sort out the fax machine. Hardly an earth-shattering event she'd have mentioned to anyone but her partner. Her brother journalist Nigel Dando believes her killing was an against-the-odds, random event that may not even have been connected with her fame. It's an interesting theory, and if true would explain why it's unsolved.
Her Fiancé, who incidentally had a meteoric rise in profile to Royal physician afterwards. Jill was known to have been looking into pedophilia in the higher echelons of society, did that go all the way to the top ie. the Royal Family, and her fiancé got rewarded for his information enabling the story to die with Jill. Perhaps that’s why the case was never reopened after Barry George was released.
@cerealkiller4248 It doesn't seem normal for a hit man to get that close as one would think that would be risky say evidence transfer and time at the scene. Feels extremely personal.
If the pistol had been modified in such a way as stated (a re- activated pistol), surely that person would have needed to test the gun before using it, or was it purchased from someone, already modified. A criminal would have access to such a weapon far more readily than a normal nutter. I would say it was a revenge killing by a criminal.
Why did the killer get so close to her too as that exposed him more. I do think there is some level of professionalism here but was reckless as I think people due that when emotions are high as this feels personal.
It’s just a figure of speech meaning if she hadn’t been there at that precise moment in time it wouldn’t have happened. That is all, nothing to get triggered by 🤷🏼♀️
Barry George did it. Anyone who says hitman. Nonsense. They have a book or documentary to sell. What hitman doesn't have a getaway car. She was at her door about to turn the key lock to open the door. The killer then struck. Anyone trained would have pushed inside at that moment then closed the door to muffle any sound. BG was stalking her. He regularly stalked women. He would walk behind them and try to engage them in conversation. He lived at that time only 10min walk from where she lived. Three years before he was arrested in the grounds of Kensington Palace. In his bag the police found a knife, a balaclava facemask, abseiling equipment and what he said was a poem he had written. 2 weeks before she was killed. There was numerous accounts of people seeing a man in a suit waiting around the streets near to her home. I believe he was waiting for her. With the gun on him. She lived with her boyfriend in a place in Chiswick at the time. Hence why he had to wait at the end of her road waiting for her.
IF I WAS THE DETECTIVE LEADING THIS INVESTIGATION I WOULD DEDUCE THE FOLLOWING: 1.THERE ARE A NUMBER OF CLUES WHICH POINT TO THE HIGH PROBABILITY THAT SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO HER, EITHER ORDERED HER KILLING, OR PULLED THE TRIGGER, UNLESS HER PHONE HAD BEEN TAPPED; AND, BY THE WAY, WE CAN DEDUCE THAT, SINCE THE GUN-SHOT WAS NOT HEARD, IT WAS PROBABLY A PROFESSIONAL HIT-JOB USING A PROFESSIONAL-STYLE SILENCER, OTHERWISE, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE SUSPECTS OR LEADS, AS OUTLINED BELOW, HOWEVER, IT LOOKS LIKE THE SUSPECT KNEW HER OR WAS TAPPING HER PHONE BECAUSE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE KNEW HER WHEREABOUTS THAT MORNING. JILL'S WHEREABOUTS THAT MORNING WAS ONLY KNOWN BY THOSE CLOSE TO HER INCLUDING HER BOYFRIEND, AND MAYBE, FAMILY MEMBERS, OR IT COULD BE THAT SOMEONE OR AN ORGANISATION WAS TAPPING HER PHONE; AT THAT TIME, JILL WAS LIVING AT HER BOYFRIEND'S HOME AND RARELY CAME HOME TO HER FULHAM HOME, SO SHE HAD SLEPT AT HER BOYFRIEND'S PLACE IN ANOTHER PART OF LONDON; BUT HER OWN HOUSE IN FULHAM, SHE HAD ALREADY TELPHONED SOMEONE CLOSE - i.e. HER BOYFRIEND OR RELATIVE THAT SHE WAS RETURNING TO HER HOME IN FULHAM TO COLLECT SOME FAXES THAT HAD BEEN SENT TO HER. THE CCTV FOOTAGE BEFORE HER ATTACK, DOES NOT SHOW SHE WAS BEING FOLLOWED, SO WHOEVER DID THIS, I CAN DEDUCE THE HIGHLY LIKELYHOOD THAT HER KILLER KNEW HER LOCATION EXACTLY - EITHER BY SOMEONE OR ONE ORGANISATION PHONETAPPING HER, OR BY SOMEONE WHO TOOK HER CALL DIRECTLY, i.e. BY HER BOYFRIEND OF FAMILY MEMBER. 2. I CAN DEDUCE, SHE WAS NOT IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME BECAUSE, TO HER KILLER, HE KNEW EXACTLY WHERE JILL WAS, AND TO HIM, SHE WAS EXACTLY IN THE RIGHT PLACE, NOT NECCESSARILY AT THE RIGHT TIME BECAUSE WITNESSES SAW SOMEONE LURKING AND WAITING FOR SOME TIME BEFORE SHE ARRIVED. ONE THING WE CAN BE SURE OF: JILL WAS NOT, AS HER OWN BROTHER TESTIFIED TO, IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME BECAUSE: WHO WOULD EVER SAY, "SHE IS IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME" WHEN SHE IS STANDING OUTSIDE HER HOME? SO, JILL'S BROTHER'S WORDS BEGGARS DISBELIEF. 3. ALSO, SINCE JILL PARKED DIRECTLY OUTSIDE HER HOME - A SHORT WALK TO HER FRONTDOOR - WE CAN DEDUCE THAT HER KILLER HAD BEEN WAITING FOR HER, RATHER THAN FOLLOWING HER. 4. OTHERWISE, THE ALTERNATIVE SUSPECT: IF JILL WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INVESTIGATION EXPOSING A CHILD PEDOPHILE RING, THIS KILLING OF JILL WAS EITHER BECAUSE SHE KNEW TOO MUCH ABOUT THE BBC OR OTHER PERPETRATORS IN THE BRITISH ESTABLISHMENT - OR ELSE - THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE RESULT OF A FORMER LOVER OR CURRENT, i.e. A LOVER'S REVENGE. 5. THE ALTERNATIVE SUSPECT COULD BE BY ANOTHER CREDIBLE LEAD WHICH WAS FROM A CONVICTED KILLER WHO SENT A LETTER STATING HE KNEW WHO KILLED JILL, WHO SAID HE HAD BEEN PART OF AN I.R.A. CELL. 6. OTHERWISE, HER KILLING WAS A RETRIBUTION FOR 17 JOURNALISTS KILLED IN A SERBIAN T.V. NEWS OUTLET IN THE BALKANS. ESPECIALLY, WHEN WE CONSIDER THAT THE BULLET FOUND AT THE CRIME-SCENE HAD BEEN TAMPERED WITH BY SOMEONE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF FIREARMS, i.e. WHICH PEOPLE IN THE BALKANS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO PURCHASE SUCH TAMPERED-WITH BULLETS FROM RUSSIA. 7. FOR RETRIBUTION BY CRIMINALS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS FOR HER WORK IN GATHERING EVIDENCE TO CONVICT THEM AS A CRIMEWATCH PRESENTER. It is obvious Mr. Barry George doesn’t fit the profile of Jill's killer, and it is also obvious that the METROPOLITAN POLICE have revealed themselves, again, deeply wanting, and deeply flawed in regard to Mr. Hamish Campbell investigation of Jill Dando's death. If I had been in his shoes, one of the major leads I would have pursued was the I.R.A. lead - number 5 suspect above, of the convicted killer who had served time in prison who said he knew who killed Jill Dando, and who said that he was part of an I.R.A. cell. And also, Jill's fellow work collegue on her Holiday programme - a lady said that she and Jill had both received a letter from a man who said he was going to abduct and rape them, but the lady said that she was never even interviewed or contacted by the MET. POLICE as a fellow working collegue, let alone in connection with those two letters. That shows a deep imcompetence and flaw in Mr. Hamish Campbell's investigation. WHAT IS CLEAR IS THE MET OFFICE AHD MR. HAMISH CAMPBELL HIMSELF FELT UNDER DEEP AND PUBLIC PRESSURE TO PUT BARRY GEORGE INTO THE FRAME OF THE KILLER TO STOP THE EMBARRASSMENT, BUT THE RESULT IS, BOTH THE CURRENT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS AND THE METROLITAN POLICE LOOK EVEN MORE IN AN EMBARRASING POSITION. AS MARK, HERE, REVEALS IN THIS INTERVIEW, THE CURRENT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PERSECUTIONS LIED BY SAYING THERE WERE NO CRIME PROFILING DONE ON THIS CASE AFTER BARRY GEORGE'S ARREST. DID THESE DEDUCTIONS EVER CROSS ANYONE ELSE'S MIND? PLEASE COMMENT.
Number 6. A state security system can easily tap a phone/use endless surveillance systems in lei kei London. A Serbian black ops guy did it, now in prison for another murder. 17 is a lot of journalists, you can see the revenge logic

Very sad for Jill's family and friends and it's astonishing that her murderer remains at large...but this video isn't telling us anything new. A great pity indeed that crucial evidence was erased/ tainted by people who rushed to try and help Jill; while undoubtedly a big problem for investigation team it must be quite common in urban shootings and surely successful convictions can still result? Was there no CCTV from the surrounding area that the police could of used? I guess this is in the days before everyone had a door bell cam. This has always seemed like a case the police never really wanted to solve for one reason or another. Her brothers theory of a motiveless crime seems pretty dubious imo. I guess there is a possibility a random gunman could of happened upon Jill simply by chance but I would of thought the odds were pretty slim. Ive always felt it was someone close to her, or someone who knew her movements, as the property in Fulham where she was shot was rarely used by Jill.
used to live in Fulham 1996 to 2003, and trust me I remember In 1997. There was tons and tons of CCTV around that whole area, when I heard of that dude that was seen running from the scene, I was like oh, they will get him, because there is at least 20 or so CCTV cameras in that area, those cameras were all set up because of the football team and it's games especially with Millwall, this area was rich, so I wonder to this day. Why and what happened to all those cctv evidence, something is dodgy about this case, also we all knew Barry, he okay guy, used to come into the fried chicken shop, that man was disabled, we all knew he didn't do it. There are busy streets like Fulham Palace road just off Gowan Avenue to, this was the late 90's after all, so a lot of CCTV should of been available? Looks like the brother doesn't want the truth, he just wants closure in the easiest way possible. Hard to imagine Jill Dando had so many enemies - but then, she was a public figure who represented strong ethical values; and some people don't like that kind of integrity. I am reminded of another famous unsolved crime - the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, where also a male doctor was at the periphery of the case. What is it about male doctors and heinous crimes
I've heard a particular rumour about Jill Dando. I've absolutely no evidence for this and this is pure hearsay. Apparently, she'd be around the block a few times, so to speak. Could it have been a jilted lover.
Or could a scorned woman be a possibility who was angry with Jill for sleeping with her boyfriend/husband? People never suspect a woman. Women can be just as possible to kill as men.

A modified pistol, and where on earth would a normal nutcase get 9mm ammunition? Surely, your average murderer would have used a knife! It goes deeper than this.
Does anyone remember that she was on the cover of the "Radio Times" 24 - 30 April 1999 ? Then, two days after it went on sale, the shock of her murder...
It seems quite unusual that someone would go to prison, years later be acquitted, and then not be entitled to compensation. That to me seems like there's still doubts over his involvement. Also let's not forget the fact he had previously been found wearing military gear, carrying some rope and a knife. Personally I think if you've been convicted of something like that, you should never be able to claim compensation for anything.

I'm certain Jill had been investigating something or someone at the BBC, and they found out, and so she was silenced.
@@mariangrove5292 Watch what Jon Wedger ex Scotland Yard Detective turned whistle blower has to say on the subject. You might think differently then.
Which reminds me of another famous quote:
'For of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these:
'It might have been'.

This reduced the noise, but meant that the bullet velocity, would be reduced too. This explains the Gun muzzle being pressed against her head. Who was responsible ? A SERBIAN trained hitman. How did the person know Jill was going to be home at that particular time?

1.THERE ARE A NUMBER OF CLUES WHICH POINT TO THE HIGH PROBABILITY THAT SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO HER, EITHER ORDERED HER KILLING, OR PULLED THE TRIGGER, UNLESS HER PHONE HAD BEEN TAPPED; AND, BY THE WAY, WE CAN DEDUCE THAT, SINCE THE GUN-SHOT WAS NOT HEARD, IT WAS PROBABLY A PROFESSIONAL HIT-JOB USING A PROFESSIONAL-STYLE SILENCER, OTHERWISE, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE SUSPECTS OR LEADS, AS OUTLINED BELOW, HOWEVER, IT LOOKS LIKE THE SUSPECT KNEW HER OR WAS TAPPING HER PHONE BECAUSE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE KNEW HER WHEREABOUTS THAT MORNING.
ONE THING WE CAN BE SURE OF: JILL WAS NOT, AS HER OWN BROTHER TESTIFIED TO, IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME BECAUSE:
WHO WOULD EVER SAY, "SHE IS IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME" WHEN SHE IS STANDING OUTSIDE HER HOME?
The killer did something unique that has never been publicly announced.

It's actually been told really well in shows like crimewatch redux and numerous podcasts. Sadly it seems we'll never know
the police and BBC are so corrupt we will never know.
yeah, definitely nothing to do with the people she was looking into... people with a penchant for a certain activity...
@@elingrome5853 which ones though
@@elingrome5853 That went on for years with members of the public sending her names and info. That led very high indeed into the twisted upper echelons of the establishment of our nation. This, in a way, is the UK's version of the Epstein Black books and hard drives. Note the research, as with Epsteins lists, died with her. This stinks of 'establishment' cover up and clean up.

Knew too much and cared too much?
@roymcintosh7983 .. I think so too.
Revenge or stalker killing seems the most likely given Jill's job, but her poor family must be as sick as most sane people are with theories about Establishment cover-up.
Utterly perplexing case.
Not really. If someone throughly went through her life, there'd be an easy connection found.
If it was Barry George, how come he now lives in my hometown of Cork,in Ireland, and not in jail??
We all loved Jill.
She was a brilliant personality with excellent screen presence.. Great at her job. Sadly missed to this very day.
I seem to remember that it was proven that the gun had been handed into the police during a amnesty and had found its way back on the streets somehow. Does anyone else remember this being said at the time
in that case police would had records of it as usually guns are tested and checked if they match to any open crime evidence.
Lol😊,
@@shazanali692
Hmm, never realized that about the Fulham football ground being so close. Checked it on Google maps and yes its like a couple of streets away from Gowan Avenue. There are busy streets like Fulham Palace road just off Gowan Avenue to, this was the late 90's after all, so a lot of CCTV should of been available?
I wonder if her employer had anything to do with it?, I mean the BBC, that is one shady organization imo, who were obviously covering up the crimes of Jimmy Savile / Rolf Harris etc. You would feel her employer could keep pretty close tabs on her.
@@Greylobster dont make him a murderer though

Someone had to see this person who surely would've had some blood on him. It was 90s though as I think people were more carefree.
What was the description of the person running away?
A white, smartly dressed man with dark hair, around 6ft tall.

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!
Rolf Harris and Stuart Hall too!
If everyone who supposedly knew about JS were killed, there would be few people left.
I thought she had files that she had told the BBC about?
Unsubstantiated as far as I know.
How could she be at the "wrong place"...when she was at her own doorstep?
She robably knew something that the killer didn't want divulging
So sad, lovely girl, ❤RIP, 🏴🇬🇧
Looks like the brother doesn't want the truth, he just wants closure in the easiest way possible. Hard to imagine Jill Dando had so many enemies - but then, she was a public figure who represented strong ethical values; and some people don't like that kind of integrity. I am reminded of another famous unsolved crime - the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, where also a male doctor was at the periphery of the case. What is it about male doctors and heinous crimes

She also had to go and just in case she told DODI ….. he went as well
Not the queen; Prince Philip and his Freemason cronies.
That was also why they killed Diana.
Who oranised Diana hit? same person did for Jill
I had an English teacher in high school in 1973 -1974 whose last name was Dando. Here in the eastern USA.
So?! Nothing to do with this!
Not an untold story
I've heard a particular rumour about Jill Dando. I've absolutely no evidence for this and this is pure hearsay. Apparently, she'd be around the block a few times, so to speak. Could it have been a jilted lover.
Or could a scorned woman be a possibility who was angry with Jill for sleeping with her boyfriend/husband? People never suspect a woman. Women can be just as possible to kill as men.
Has that poor chap Mr Barry George ever received compensation for being falsely locked up and had his life ruined.
@5heffPaul where did you get that information? Barry didn't receive a penny in compensation.
He was convicted of attempted rape and served 23 months of a 33 month sentence.
Please provide evidence of other convictions.

She questioned P@edophila in high places and was taken out!
She knew what the BBC was and is, and maybe some other important information, so she had to be got rid of.
Ever heard of BBC researchers? If she was about to blow the lid all the researchers would have to be killed also.

I'm fascinated that Jill's Brother thinks she was just unfortunate that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time it's always baffled me I genuinely think it's to do with the crimewatch programme and it was premeditated that the person / person's cos even tho it was only 1 man there could be more and ( 100% more likely to be more than 1 person behind it I think he's a hitman I mean of all the people to be in the wrong place at the wrong time a successfull news reporter TV presenter it just dosnt happen like that I think he was expert at being a hit man chose his timing wisely also did it with great precision as making sure there was no gunshot heard it was a very deliberate killing of the exact person intended cos I mean how how if it was meant to be killing of any random female or a possible intended burglary gone wrong still look at all the murders over the years committed on innocent women there not on there own doorstep how do you just randomly choose to kill a female on her own doorstep in broad daylight and it just so happens to be Jill Dando the reporter who appeals on Crimewatch of all people how can you totally not see she was a deliberate target 1000 over and over % how rest in peace Jill x 🌹
RIP Gill
Apparently 23 double manned ambulances were sent to the scene, which could explain the mess up at the crime scene perhaps
So?
Yes I do too.
She was going home, how was she in wrong place at wrong time? I hate this form of victim blaming
So she was in the right place at the wrong time!?
She rarely spent time at Gowan Avenue. She was living with Alan Farthing at his home.
Gorgeous lady GBNF RIP Jill
It seems quite unusual that someone would go to prison, years later be acquitted, and then not be entitled to compensation. That to me seems like there's still doubts over his involvement. Also let's not forget the fact he had previously been found wearing military gear, carrying some rope and a knife. Personally I think if you've been convicted of something like that, you should never be able to claim compensation for anything.
Someone close to her?
I couldn't believe it and why haven't they found the killer ever yet
Jimmy Saville Cliff Richard and the King know who killed Jill I heard
