Building the Ultimate Psytrance Bass Patch in Vital

This week I build the ultimate bass patch in Vital.
It includes automatic kick ducking and macros for the levels of the fundamental and first harmonic. It's also perfectly 1/16th long to ensure zero overlap into the next note or kick.

I don't understand, though why your title mention Vital and you seem to use Serum ... Just kidding ;-) You made me reach a new level in programming vital. Nice tutorial, and very helpful.

Is there a way to emulate this patch in Serum? It is not possible to assign Macros to modulation assignments on the matrix, so I tried to add Macro 1 as an AUX source of the LFO that I assigned to control the volume of the oscillator that was the fundamental, but it was ducking it on all the notes. I also couldn’t find a solution to control the volume with an LFO so to avoid the ending of the note overlapping to the next one. Obviously Vital is much more flexible, but I like to use Serum’s German LP filter together with Basic MCB oscillator, and applying your patch, at least the ability to duck the Fundamental within the source would be of great help

The first rule of Serum is that anything is possible in there, it's a monster 😀 I'll have a play and see what I can come up with. Hopefully something on the channel in a week or so.
