Ah, the memories of those Rhythm and Movement idents, twenty years on. I'll never forget them, and I'm sure most of you guys, who grew up in the '00s, won't, either.
This is awesome. I genuinely didn’t know that the announcement at the start of the day before BBC Breakfast had given a prior warning that the idents were going to be changed the next day. Another thing I like is the time-capsule nature of this video. It’s not just a single continuity link, but a whole day of idents and even some news headlines.
What the BBC should have done is during their BBC 100 Celebrations, they should have played old idents like these to mark the 100 years. BBC made a mistake not playing these idents in 2022 as part of their BBC 100 Celebrations.
Freaks me out all these images were from 16 years ago, kid born on this day will have had there entire childhood and schooling and will now be on the cusp of adulthood.
Thank you so much for uploading this video to UA-cam I was wondering whether you have the BBC One idents from the early hours of New Years Day 2007 from Monday 1st January plus the last showing of the Christmas BBC One ident for that year?
Duncan Newmarch & Phil Vowels were the duty BBC One announcers for that day. Sarah Gentry was the duty BBC Two announcer for this morning on that day, but who was the duty BBC Two announcer for that evening?

Almost every ident from the last day of the BBC One 'Rhythm & Movement' idents, Friday 6th October 2002, recorded onto VHS from analogue TV at the time. All edits are from the original tape so I don't have any of the full programmes. Ends with the 'last dance' montage at 1:10am on the morning of 7th October. The ident into City Hospital (10:00am) was Salsa, missed on this recording.
Yes, along with Watch My Chops, What's New Scooby-Doo?, The Basil Brush Show, The Slammer and Newsround on the CBBC strand from the schedule of the BBC One "Rhythm & Movement" idents' last day.

Which because Phil Vowels said "tomorrow morning"

There's video evidence of Capoeira, Acrobats, Skateboarders and Ballet (as seen in this video) being used for N24 handovers, but what about Tai-Chi?
