@J Harper Your right they did, listen I hope I'm not bothering you and I'm very sorry I know you don't normally take requests but I don't suppose you still have the CBBC One Continuity from Monday 2nd October 2000 which led out of Newsround into Blue Peter and the end of the CBBC day do you?
It's interesting that The Cramp Twins debuted on the same day on both CBBC on BBC One and Cartoon Network UK. CBBC aired it at 4:10pm and CN UK aired it at 4:30pm.
The short lived 2001 rebranded with the mashup idents as the brand would turn to blobs and bugs idents the next year five months later in Monday February 11th, 2002. When the CBBC network got its own two channels on that date, Emelyn the Gremlin, Liam Dolan, Michael Underwood and Adrian Dickson were dropped snd retired from the host roster and replaced by Andrew Hayden-Smith, Jake Humphreys, Dick McCourt & Dom Wood, Kate Heavenpr and Ortis DEELEY while Angelica Bell continued her position on the network until Friday December 1st, 2006. From that date forward, the CBBC network was split into two separate channels, CBBC for the older kids (7am-7pm then handing over to BBC3) and CBeebies for the underfives (6am-7pm then handing over to BBC4)
@Billy Hicks Fantastic as always, hope there's more CBBC from 2000 and 2001, that's if you have any of course, anyway thanks for this brilliant clip.
Thanks so much for uploading this to UA-cam Billy
Sadly, the new set turns out to be the last of the original CBBC branding to make way for the CBBC channel and its preschool channel, CBeebies.
What
CBBC TWO/CBBC ONE Continuity On Monday 3rd September 2001.
1:28 Oops, unless I'm mistaken, that's a "CBBC Two" ident they've played at the start of an afternoon of CBBC One. Wasn't Studio 9 great?
Well I prefer the 1998 to 2001 studio set, that one was the best.
If I'm not mistaken, CITV had a revised look of their own on the same day. Good find though

Shame it only lasted a year before the CBBC channel came about
@Tom Hallett Well I don't like this era between September 2001 and February 2002, the era between October 1997 and 31st August 2001 was much better.
