Cut segment from 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' (12th March 1999)
This one's a bit different but it was a request from a UA-cam comment! From the 12th March 1999 Comic Relief special of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, a short moment cut from later Challenge repeats of this episode from about 0:22 onwards. One reason is to cut the long-gone phone number seen to call to apply for the following series, but the repeated mentions of TV star Jill Dando may also contribute to the edit, as Dando was murdered just a few weeks after this episode aired.

This is a bit of an odd one as all the other tapes in this batch are from the Westcountry region, but this appears to be from the South Midlands with the local news from that era - either they were on holiday or something went very wrong with the Westcountry news! It's about 11:30pm and we go into American one-season-wonder Now and Again.

The end of a particularly harsh episode of 'Golden Balls' into the local ITV Westcountry News on a February evening in 2008, a year before they merged with the West of England. Includes a rather astonishingly cheap looking advert at 3:08 for the Ideal Home Show that looks like it was done on Windows XP Powerpoint.

After the late film 'Nighthawks', BBC One goes into Weatherview on a cold January night in 2003...and something a bit odd happens from 1:59 onwards, with picture glitches and most of the sound becoming muffled pops until finally coming back at the end. Would this have been a transmitter error or just a problem with the videotape?

Birthday People was a local show in the South West of England where birthday cards were read out, which by now was hosted by two puppets called Flotsam and Jetsam. The Virgin Music on Demand was like the Lifestyle Satellite Jukebox as me and my sister used to play various tracks on it with its own music videos, but by then, I can see a white mistracking on it as they used Macrovision-protection like DVDs and VHS tapes, basically an anti-piracy scheme.
