Hey bro Are you Indian ? If yes than What are you doing here. Bythe way it is nice to see that someone is also fond of watching and learning from Legendry Fight scenes from my country rather than watching फालतू videos
It's a screen-modified version of an old Thai style called Muay Buran. It's an old military technique for destroying opponents on the battlefield. Muay Thai is its more civilized, modern sports version. Sort of like old-school original military Tae Kwon Do and modern Olympic sparring TKD. One for real world use, one for the ring.
I don't rem how much time i have seen Ong Bak series in childhood. We (my siblings & i) watched them so many times as kids that we even manage to learn some Tony's martial techniques without any formal trainings. Tony Jaa will ever be one of our favorite action-hero.💙💙👍👍
Martial arts movies like this always teach you how they do it, people say you can't learn from watching movies...lies! I've learned a lot from watching these types of movies without ever taking formal training, the key is to take what's practical that can actually be applied to a real life situation...hopefully not a situation like in this movie, because this just gives me chills every time I watch it, 😅😅
Feels good to come back to this scene many years later. First time felt like most of this stuff is overexaggerated and unrealistic. Now after having experienced traditional martial arts for a few years I feel like this scene has one of the most realistic choreography out there. All of the submission techniques are real deal. The movements had to be wide and exaggerated for the viewers to see them off course but with small adjustments they can be applied IRL. Great scene that blended choreography with realism really well!
So lovely to see how much of a family-member this elephant was to him and how much power he gained from his memories and his grief to make those villains bleed afterwards.
The fact that Tony ignored their attacks while he was grieving. When a man is just eating your punches and kicks and isn’t even aware that you’re there you might as well be tickling a lion in a cage.
But Steven Segal makes it look more real. I used to wonder how they did it and would rewind the video over and over and watch it in slow motion to see where the fake arm or leg was put in. This scene I don't have to rewind anything. It's pretty obvious
"A very chill and relaxed nor happy person will snap out from a very impactful force, and will use negatvity" As it happened to Tony Jaa, from emotional to a reaper, just because of a knife..
This was one of the most raw fight scenes I’ve ever seen, and the buildup was fantastic. The flashbacks as he mourns the death of the elephant, and he barely resists getting beaten…. Until some mf pulls up with a knife, and he just goes ballistic. The sheer brutality of this scene makes it so memorable for me
I tried to learn arnis years ago. I could do some basic moves but my Guru, Manny B. was incredible. I see a lot of the moves he showed us in this clip. The throws, traps and block actually work. Manny could throw us around with his effortless speed and arm bars.
Too good ...the best thing is he shows no sign of ego...his innocence and rage makes it beautiful to watch. I enjoy his action more than that of brucelee....bruce lee had big ego
finger strikes in the lower jugular and forcing it down, that was the most brutal realistic move, it can even make a person entirely disabled or dead, if applied with a heavy force.
If you notice he uses a lot of your own momentum against you quite naturally your bones will break ! If you notice he used one guy in multiple flips as he rolled him over his back then he picked up momentum on his side just to break his arm an dislocated his rotate cup and possible his shoulder blade is compound fractured
Tony Jaa's MC no only felt deep sorrow to find Kohrn's Father, Por Yai's dead and turned into a decorative skeleton (quite a deep traumatic discovery), but also it increased His Rage and started to maim and cripple each and every single enemy who came to fight him.
John Wick : Who killed my dog ?
Tony Ja : Who killed my Elephant ?

John’s victims get a dinner reservation, Tony’s victims get a trip to the ER.
Imagine those two teaming up :) World will run out of assasins soon.

The part in every Tony Jaa movie we wait for! The part where he decides "I have had ENOUGH OF THIS." and starts laying the smack down in epic manner.
Oh man this scene is just heartbreaking...now lets get on with the bonebreaking!
Yep this scene destroyed me. But damn he kicked serious ass.
The sheer amount of bone breaking with each and every creative technique. GOD DAMN!🤩🤘🏽
