Something about Maxie Zeus I discovered just last night is in Arkham Asylum, in that little Scarecrow cave under the elevators, if you look at the blueprint map stashed away there, you can see Maxie Zeus' location marked off, so this was either a very small little reference to the guy or they were originally going to have him play a part with Scarecrow in later games.

It would’ve been cool that you could randomly encounter rat catcher in the sewers as a mini boss, rats swarming at you and the only way to finish it is to hit him a couple times or to do a take down in Arkham city
You know, after watching his origin episode to Clock King and Riddler’s too in The Animated Series, I’m surprised the two never teamed up in an episode (especially seeing how little they used Clock King), since both are a lot alike (both want revenge on something that had to do with a company, both are pretty intelligent, both wear similar outfits (that is if you remove the color and switch out the purple mask and clock-glasses), and both in their first episode escaped from being brought to justice). They might even almost defeat Batman with Clock King’s perfect timing and Riddler’s traps (he can even use the riddle Hickory Dickory Dock as part of the riddle). I actually think if the two teamed up in an Arkham video game, now that would be real cool.
How great would a Rocksteady Batman Beyond game have been? Jokerz running around the streets, Spellbinder boss fights similar to that of Scarecrow in Asylum, a Curare fight that would involve a lot of quick thinking to dodge multiple sword attacks and counter, Inque I imagine would probably be similar to the Ivy fight. I think Blight would be the final boss and they could work something out with that but most of all, just being able to cut about the streets of Neo Gotham would be incredible.

I think that someone like Deathstroke should have been used better in Knight, I felt it was cheap. The Court would have been perfect in Origins or Knight, I can't decide which.
The court of owls was created in 2011 by Scott Synder and Greg capullo in their first comic run on Batman in the new 52. Arkham asylum came out in 2009 and Arkham city in 2011 I believe. So Arkham knight would have been good to have them in there but they were still fairly new back then.. The court of owls is still my favourite Batman story of all time
My favorite Riddler storyline of all time is Detective Comics 705-707 where he straps a bomb to Cluemaster and forces Batman to carry him around the city solving his riddles. Cluemaster begs for his life and apologizes for being a rip off, but Riddler just laughs and calls him an embarrassing wannabe, not competition. It's a great run!
I’d love it Maxie Zeus appeared in origins as a side mission we put him away and it opens open the door for all references we got. I just don’t understand how didn’t get Scarface though that hurts.
I would like to see a video game that has Owlman in it, but multiverse elements can make a narrative less cohesive. If the Arkham series was going to take a risk, I would suggest having the Jokester as the main playable character with Owlman as the villain.
Scarface (the doll) shows up a little more often in ArkAsyl than at the end. He subs (performed by the Joker) for the warden's announcements during one of the Scarecrow missions (the finale if I recall correctly).
Any anti-batman villain would've been awesome, they could have made the fight really cool by having them mirror your gadgets, techniques and possibly favoured strategies you used throughout the game and make you think outside the box as to how you would take yourself down
The Joker: [the Joker plays with the Scarface puppet, as Batman approaches him] Why didn't you stop Batman? Scarface: [puppeted by Joker] *Me*? It was *your* plan, you goofy clown! The Joker: Ah! I'm sending you back to the Ventriloquist where you belong! [throws Scarface away]
I think they definitely should've use'd the court of owls in arkham knight as a continuum to the the game like a DLC story& black mask to i can't remember if you actually see him involved with the rock steady arkham games but black mask is one to maybe as a robin or another batgirl dlc mission. Great interesting vid btw .😁
Hey Jay, just wondering, how tf have you grown so much. Last year when i found your channel you were at 2k subs and now your at 60k? If anyone deserves it, its you!
I think Prometheus would've made for a cool Deathstroke style boss fight definitely a wasted opportunity. He would've also been cool to play as. Great White Shark was another wasted opportunity, included as a character bio in Asylum but never makes an appearance.
He's not a villain, but it would have been cool if Booster Gold was in the game. You could have traveled around Gotham and cleaned up his messes in his attempt to fight crime or go around saving him when he goes in over his head.
Oh wow, I did not notice the Court of Owls statues in Origins. I’d love to see a movie or game with them as the bad guys, I’m intrigued by them. Great video like always Jay, keep it up.
@@TheGreatMeme I would prefer them showing up in the Arkham Series, even a boss fight with talon in arkham knight would be a nice tease to gotham knights
I would pick Calendar Man in a heartbeat. Instead of a quick story, you get a proper / distinct boss fight for every month each with its own theme holiday
That would actually be a pretty cool side story. The Calendar Man escapes, murders a few guys, you track him down through those murders, and it ends with a boss fight that changes to fit the nearest holiday happening in the real world.
@degenerate jay if you're still doing hidden easter eggs, don't think youve mentioned it, but Hush (Tommy Elliot) is in the church in Arkham City, he's the one on the stretcher holding that box, the doctor helping him mentions that he cut his own face off and if you go back once the Hush mission is activated, he's no longer there
Great vid I was a bit disappointed about how joker is always a main plot point even when the guy is dead I was especially annoyed that Prometheus wasn’t in the franchise anyway great vid
I think the mutant gang would've been an AWESOME thing in the arkham universe. I think in asylum there were thugs that were nods to them but it could've been a coincidence
Do you know how happy I was when the arkam knight destroyed the batmobile that was the best moment in my life but when I saw the tank agian I cried my eyes out do you know how my heart feels right now
Personally Killer Moth, Prometheus, the Court of Owls and Lincoln March, Kite Man (Like an executioner boss from origins and it would just be hilarious), KG Beast.
*"People get mad when I say this but [Cluemaster] sort of knocked off the Riddler's entire shtick"* Wait which people get mad when you say this? It's the simple truth, and I'm a sucker for the Cluemaster... Arthur Brown was fantastic in *Batman: Eternal* , we can't talk too much about is role in this storyline but damn... I really didn't see it coming at the time. I guess he wasn't too bad in the cartoon "The Batman", the episode "Q&A" had a nice twist and all for people... there are lots of episode of that show that have lots of potential but feel waaaay to rushed, and feel like they could have been told in an entire animated movie. Like for example, the episode about one of the other anti-Batman you mentioned in the Prometheus section, *The Wrath* ( and his kid sidekick Scorn) who's episode from season 5, "The End of Batman" should have at least been a two-parter.
Imagine if the Arkham series had a side mission or main mission where the ventriloquist n two face have a gang war, the title would be “ Identity crisis”
I want an Arkham game that OPENS with Bats dropping in on Riddler, and leaving his bruised and battered, unconscious body laying painfully atop a pile of his as-yet undistributed, gaudy fetch-quest question mark trophies.
I too was disappointed that Ventriloquist and Maxie Zeus never showed up. I also think Cluemaster should be used in Gotham Knights, fitting in the Riddler role for the collectibles villain. We shouldve got Lock Up in one of the games too.
In all honesty think of how cool a fight with the Polka-dot man would be. You have to dodge and look for openings while he is throwing colorful buzzsaws at you would be awesome.
I really wish that characters like man-bat, mad-hatter and killer croc had longer missions, I think man bat should’ve had a grounded boss fight, mad hatter could’ve had a whole doctor pyg-esqe mystery to solve and the idea of killer croc just roaming the streets of Gotham while you’re in it is really cool and terrifying

Top 5 villains I think that should be in the Arkham franchise
5. Great white shark
4. Orca
3. March harriet
2. Court of owls and talon
1. Promthyius
Any anti-batman villain would've been awesome, they could have made the fight really cool by having them mirror your gadgets, techniques and possibly favoured strategies you used throughout the game and make you think outside the box as to how you would take yourself down
Jay: Makes scarface number 1
Me: *wait, that's illegal*
That’s doesn’t even make sense
@@firesaint4569 Why do you think that?
But Joker was using Scarface in Asylum-
The Joker:
[the Joker plays with the Scarface puppet, as Batman approaches him] Why didn't you stop Batman?
Scarface:
[puppeted by Joker] *Me*? It was *your* plan, you goofy clown!
The Joker:
Ah! I'm sending you back to the Ventriloquist where you belong! [throws Scarface away]
Your point?
@@Slickback420 no point lol
The batman is such an underrated cartoon and interpretation of batman 😭😭
Why isn't the Rat Catcher in the arkham series i know that he was mention a couple of times
I always thought he show up as many much as you go the vents and sewers ... sadly no.
Talon should have his own movie
Batman vs Robin is probably the closest we will get and I love that movie
I think they definitely should've use'd the court of owls in arkham knight as a continuum to the the game like a DLC story& black mask to i can't remember if you actually see him involved with the rock steady arkham games but black mask is one to maybe as a robin or another batgirl dlc mission. Great interesting vid btw .😁
Maybe the court of owls are the main villains in Arkham knight sending villains to kill Bruce Wayne.
Killer Moth was completely missing from the core 15 batman villains
he shouldve been on this list
I would've love to see Prometheus in the Arkhamverse!
I would've loved to have seen a Batman: Arkham depiction of Baby Doll. I think she fits perfectly in that universe.
I would of loved a side mission for Josiah Wormwood as a nod to the animated series episode
Am I the only one who notices that he says ruf n not roof, cuz i love it sm😂
I feel like Killer Moth could've been used, instead they decided to use Firefly twice....
I find It’s strange that they added firefly but not killer moth cuz firefly was killer moths protege and their were hints of him in Arkham asylum
Hey Jay, just wondering, how tf have you grown so much. Last year when i found your channel you were at 2k subs and now your at 60k? If anyone deserves it, its you!
I wise we could have seen clayface again and copperhead and dedshot
Clayface was in concept art in knight but sadly he didn’t make into the final product
@Just a Shark 100% I was surprised he didn’t show up in the game at all.
I think Prometheus would've made for a cool Deathstroke style boss fight definitely a wasted opportunity. He would've also been cool to play as. Great White Shark was another wasted opportunity, included as a character bio in Asylum but never makes an appearance.
I would want Owlman and Killer Moth because they are both kind of like Batman
Adding to the list: Killer Moth and The Dollmaker
Great white shark and ratcatcher ive never heard of those characters until Arkham asylum would've loved to seen them
He's not a villain, but it would have been cool if Booster Gold was in the game.
There's too many of Batemans enemies that couldn't put in the games
Why’s that
The Audacity to not give Killer moth at least a honorable shoutout is a crime to me.
Tbh I'd like to make another one of these and he'd definitely be on it.
Killer Moth would’ve been cool to see
I would've liked to see rag doll in Arkham Asylum (or maybe Arkham city), it was a missed opportunity to have him not show up in the Arkhamverse.
Or any other villains even BTAS villains
I would pick Calendar Man in a heartbeat. Instead of a quick story, you get a proper / distinct boss fight for every month each with its own theme holiday
That would actually be a pretty cool side story. The Calendar Man escapes, murders a few guys, you track him down through those murders, and it ends with a boss fight that changes to fit the nearest holiday happening in the real world.
@degenerate jay if you're still doing hidden easter eggs, don't think youve mentioned it, but Hush (Tommy Elliot) is in the church in Arkham City, he's the one on the stretcher holding that box, the doctor helping him mentions that he cut his own face off and if you go back once the Hush mission is activated, he's no longer there
They could have done an entire game just around Brother Eye
Great vid I was a bit disappointed about how joker is always a main plot point even when the guy is dead I was especially annoyed that Prometheus wasn’t in the franchise anyway great vid
I know right it’s rocksteady being rocksteady without Paul Dini.
I think the mutant gang would've been an AWESOME thing in the arkham universe. I think in asylum there were thugs that were nods to them but it could've been a coincidence
Do you know how happy I was when the arkam knight destroyed the batmobile that was the best moment in my life but when I saw the tank agian I cried my eyes out do you know how my heart feels right now
Replaying it, shortly after you first get the batmobile, Lucius says to be careful, *it's one of a kind.* OH YOU LYING SOB!
I would’ve LOVED a proper Deathstroke in Arkham Knight, but we got some voice lines and a crappy rehash of the tank battle
I think that they should have brought back anarky for Arkham knight
Personally Killer Moth, Prometheus, the Court of Owls and Lincoln March, Kite Man (Like an executioner boss from origins and it would just be hilarious), KG Beast.
*"People get mad when I say this but [Cluemaster] sort of knocked off the Riddler's entire shtick"*
Wait which people get mad when you say this?
This is gonna sound weird, but I would have liked to see killer moth in city, even just as a joke
There is a riddle referencing him in Asylum.
Imagine if the Arkham series had a side mission or main mission where the ventriloquist n two face have a gang war, the title would be “ Identity crisis”
5 killer moth 4 scarface 3 court of owls 2 Prometheus 1 ratcatcher
im glad they didnt add the first guy im tired of dc villain's just being evil versions of the hero
Random thought, Prometheus as playable character in Arkham Origins 2. Like Slade in Arkham Origins 1. Arkham Tradition
1.The clock king
2. Maxie zeus
3. Red claw
4. Court of owls
5. Scarface
We need Killer Moth for comic relief
I want an Arkham game that OPENS with Bats dropping in on Riddler, and leaving his bruised and battered, unconscious body laying painfully atop a pile of his as-yet undistributed, gaudy fetch-quest question mark trophies.
In the VR Arkham game scar face is alive in a cell so when you look away then look back he moves but he was still wasted I wish he had a side mission
No you're breathtaking
Lol
Hopefully in a future Batman game we get to see:
1. Simon Hurt
2. Nocturna
3. Dollmaker
4. Phantasm
5. Flamingo
A real fan
I too was disappointed that Ventriloquist and Maxie Zeus never showed up. I also think Cluemaster should be used in Gotham Knights, fitting in the Riddler role for the collectibles villain. We shouldve got Lock Up in one of the games too.
Cluemaster would be better for the Arkham series replacing riddler.
@@salahdeanclemens2226 Considering how overused the Riddler things were, that would have been a nice change of pace.
Prometheus would have fit in perfect as the Arkham Knight.
100% agree
In all honesty think of how cool a fight with the Polka-dot man would be. You have to dodge and look for openings while he is throwing colorful buzzsaws at you would be awesome.
Keep It Up degenerate jay the best at making these videos
I really wish that characters like man-bat, mad-hatter and killer croc had longer missions, I think man bat should’ve had a grounded boss fight, mad hatter could’ve had a whole doctor pyg-esqe mystery to solve and the idea of killer croc just roaming the streets of Gotham while you’re in it is really cool and terrifying
Deacon Blackfire should have been Maxie Zeus. I don’t know why they didn’t take this perfect opportunity to utilise him, Deacon was so forgettable.
I wish batman's parent's killer Joe Chill was in the Arkham games.
He does get a cameo in Arkham vr
Okay.
