We are always hunting for the best food in Sydney but we know everything in Sydney is expensive. Sydney doesn’t have the cheapest food option out there. Sometime the best solution is get your grocery shopping from Woolworths or Coles and cook at home, but is it always true? How to save money especially on food?
We are always curious about meal kits delivery like Hello Fresh, Dinnerly, Marley Spoon. We recently found out that EveryPlate which a sister company to Hello Fresh has an affordable, budget or cheap eats option - you can choose from 3-6 meals a week for 2, 4 and 6 people. If you are wondering what is the difference between Hello Fresh and EveryPlate? EveryPlate offers more budget meal kits or cheaper compared to Hello Fresh with relatively similar menu options and you can cancel anytime.
They deliver fresh ingredients to you weekly with all sauce and grocery kits to your home. Menu is super easy to follow (only 4 steps) cooking instruction. For two of us and 5 meals (which is 2 serving each) it cost a total of $44.13, so roughly $3.41 per serving per meal. The way EveryPlate pricing works depend on how many people and how many meals per week you would like to order. The cheapest price is 6 people for 6 meals (could be lunch or dinner) that starts from $3.98 per serving and after 40% discount code down to $2.39 per dish.
We feel this meal kits are certainly cheaper than shopping grocery or trying to get best grocery haul value in supermarket. This is certainly cheap eats in Sydney option to save some money.

These meal kits are very popular here in the States too. We're so bad at following instructions though. The portions are not bad and I bet you can adjust spices and flavors to your liking.
