Welcome to my home state of Tennessee. I really appreciate ya'll flying the colors and the tire cover, truly patriotic as you make your way across this beautiful country. Thank you for the enjoyment you bring to me each and every weekend. Be safe.
Our family did a weeks worth of backpacking in Tennessee 2 summers ago. We passed through Chattanooga and went to a place called Sugars for smoked ribs and brisket. Being a Northerner my head exploded when I tasted real bbq. It’s a hole in the wall place but we really enjoyed it. Great view of the city.
❤ well… I couldn’t recommend anchorage’s on Malta but I did tell you about Georgia State parks and the hiking at Cloudland Canyon… you documented it perfectly and at last I can say, “I told you so!” Well done SPA, well done! ❤
Chattanooga is a beautiful city! My little sister lives there. She’s a NICU nurse at the children’s hospital. Funny about the lights at the waterfall. Enjoy your travels!
WOW" you are carrying this child all in the front. Something tells me it's going to be a BOY!. I believe we have many Beautiful places to see in the United States. I'm really happy for both of you now that you both have decided to settle down in the United States. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You both have accomplished so much from the beginning when you were completely redoing your first Atticus one. They say when you have that special someone by your side you can accomplish anything. And you both have accomplished so much. Just wanted to give you both a show of support for all you have both accomplished. Thanks
Thank you! Once again I'm seeing and learning about a country I've lived in all my life! I truly enjoy spending time with you guys and your family. Once in a lifetime storm! Right?! Good luck.
Second hand views are great, but it can't replace being there. When I decided that getting rich was a poor life goal, I replaced it with seeing the USA first, and the world if I could afford it. I have camped in every state, much of it after or between retirements. I made it to parts of Europe, Australia, Canada naturally, and my favorite, Panama, the country. Bocas Del Toro Islands area is amazing as is the Old Town Panama City. Every US state had it's own beautiful personality and sights.
Chattanooga is Awesome!!! I’ve been following yall from the beginning and always thought you would be such a great fit for Chattanooga! From boating, hiking, biking, fishing, caving etc, so much to see and do plus it’s affordable
The light show untimely termination, timing is everything and I wish I can go there and experience this with my wife in the future, You guys are awsome!!!
Not trying to be negative, but I am a Chattanooga Native. If you want tons of traffic congestion, constant road and highway construction, very high home/property prices and way to many people here now, then come on over. As you said, during Covid, Chattanooga got hammered. It really changed things here and not in a good way. Ohh, and not to mention the gang problem. Do your research.
After covid, remote work became a thing and just about every place on my retirement list tripled in price. I'm not surprised this happened in Chattanooga.
Another Chattanooga native who returned a few years ago after being gone for over 40 years. Retired and moved back from the Baltimore / DC area. This is not Chattanooga. Compared to where we moved from this is non-existent. It's a great area with lots to do outdoors. The lakes, mountains, riverwalk, trails, vistas, etc. are all here and even more within a short drive. I do agree to do your research on areas you might want to live and Chickamauga Lake is a great place to sail a small boat. :-)
Indeed, a short 3-day visit won’t communicate this properly. However, if everywhere else also got overrun with people, increased prices, traffic and fangs, then it might just be that gem that you remember.
Woot! Chattanooga residents since 1975 and we love it here. Every town has its detractors so weigh the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Again, no state income tax in Tennessee. Big time college football in Knoxville, Atalanta Braves just to the south, Chattanooga with its beautiful outdoors and extensive river walk is right in the sweet spot. A very good children’s hospital too.
I’m in Cullman Alabama! You guys are just getting closer and closer to me. You don’t know what a privilege it would be to be able to meet you guys one day after watching your shows for the past five years or so. Please let me know if you come through here my wife and I would love to buy your lunch or dinner and meet you guys and just visit for a while!
You will absolutely love Chattanooga. I'm from Cleveland and miss it so much. No state Income tax helps. At least it use to be. Everywhere you've been in NC, TN, GA. I am so jealous but watching you has plucked extra heart strings. Y'all do that already. Jordan, if you like white water rafting the northern Ocoee. My parents took me to Ruby Falls when I was in infant so I sure don't rember it, but they took lots of pictures. Anyway, i have so loved this episode, it's like coming home. Love you guys.❤ & 🫂.
I got so excited when I saw Chattanooga in the title! If you ever want a tour guide let me know. :) I know lots of beautiful spots all around Chattanooga. Excited to see where "home" ends up being!
Spent most of my life on one of the mountains outside Chattanooga. It was better before the serge, but people move here for a reason. But if you look to settle here, look well outside the city. You have seen Lookout Mountain, Sand Mountain is more flat farm land. Signal is more citiesh. Suck Creek Mountain is great for motorcycles an whitewater. Etna is good for getting your tires dirty. An Monteagle is for getting deep in to the woods. The area gives you 3 states to choose from. You can live on acreage, on a mountain. You could live in a small river town like South Pittsburgh where Lodge Cast-iron is. You can live on a boat on the river. Or you can live in the city. The options here are pretty vast. And while its very rural, I have been here all of my 45 years an have yet to run out of new things to do.
This is so crazy: for years, I have watched you explore places I will never see, and now you are in my home state, exploring areas we have visited. The stairs at Cloudland Canyon (one of our favorite place) kicked my ass!!! 🙂
I live and have lived in Chattanooga, TN for 57yrs and i think it’s a wonderful city!! You’re just 1 1/2 to 2 hrs from Atlanta, Knoxville , and Nashville! Not to mention you can be at the ocean in 5-6 hrs! It’s got beautiful mountains, Signal Mountain is where i grew up. School system is great! I noticed someone commented on sitting in traffic jams… i don’t know of many places you can live that doesn’t have traffic problems at one time or another!! I personally think yall would love living in Chattanooga! Come visit again and let me know and i can take you to all the fun restaurants and activities around here😊
I drove through there going from Billy Graham cove in Asheville to the ark in Kentucky the entire drive was amazing. Being from California the green landscape in each state is amazing. If you get to Kentucky check out the KFC museum and The ark encounter.
Beautiful part of the Appalachian mountains, the I-24 to I-75 corridor is awful and sees a lot of accidents. I drove commercial truck driver and went thru there many times and there was always accidents… Beautiful mountains though , I guess if you live there you wouldn’t be as affected by the traffic…
Ya rain! I have thought about leaving Florida many times but the amount of rain other places is just too much for me. I start feeling sick after about 2-3 days of dark and wet!
That’s a great place to relocate and if that works out to be the destination for the family, it’s funny parallels to our migration there this weekend. We’ve been watching PA since Day 1 and both wind up in The Noog. Good luck on the travels and exploring!
Maybe follow the Appalachian and Smokey Mountains, or the sections near the little towns like you like and you’ll probably find the kind of property and situation you’re looking for. Georgia has some great State and Federal Parks. Actually, it’s strange thinking of you guys even in a State that’s not on the Coast! My family had a “Summer Cottage” in PA, so we camped all the way from GA and TX, twice a year to go open it and back to close it. In the process, we got to see so many places, parks and Mountain Ranges and the People who call them home….
If you want to 10x the views, you’d have to go to Oregon. Tennessee and the Carolina’s are in a sweet spot of the country, ocean, mountains s, views, hot southern summers and nice winters. If I hadn’t settled on New England, this region would have been on my list.
i live about an hour away from Chattanooga and it is the WORST place to live in TN east of Memphis. They have horrible traffic and congestion for such a small city. Just figured I would give you a heads up!
We live in west Tennessee, I don't recommend it, but can't get my wife to sell and move to Chattanooga, or Knoxville where our son lives. I prefer rural areas due to price and safety, although both east Tennessee are quite safe compared to most any place else. North GA, and west N. and S. Carolina are great places. I have lived in the Piedmont of S. Carolina near Clemson University also, a beautiful lake area. You should go to Fall Creek Falls State Park. It was a National Park initially. You aren't far from it. Ruby Falls is worth seeing, but it is a bit commercial for a person who likes natural caves. I first saw it 65 years ago, so it has been lit up for a long time...
back to education Tennessee, is #31 on a list of 50 for quality, even behind Georgia. In health care Tennessee is in the bottom 10 of 50. The places you are looking have great nature, and outdoor living but are behind the curve on things you need for young children
Im thinking like Indonesia 🇮🇩 some place away from TWiTLeR and the Mobsters! 🤔 But I’m stuck in Washington state the remainder of this life. lol 😂 😅 Chomp on that lol 😝
TN healthcare, "The America's Health Rankings 2022 report from United Healthcare ranks Tennessee 44th among states for health outcomes. The state's notable challenges include high numbers of smokers and people with multiple chronic health conditions, as well as premature death rates. And 42nd in education..choose wisely.
The new Atticus is more relatable to most people as the fantasy of sailing away from it all loses the appeal it once had. Lots of sailing UA-camrs are ditching their boats for life on land again. As far as your wifi set up goes, there is no cell service where we live in Appalachia, so it definitely wouldn't work for us. Starlink has been a Godsend. Happy travels.
Do a little more research on Chattanooga, it's daylight side is very attractive, the but the night side has been ranked in the top 10 places not to be after dark.
Wow, for someone that didn’t fly the American flag until late in your sailing, now you have Americana all over, seems you didn’t want anyone to know you were American
Disappointed. 15 minutes includes a sponsor ad and a cellular supplier influence. Seriously? Been with you since you left the USA initially but this is too commercial now. Good luck and best wishes.
Get a life! They have a growing family and in a new chapter of their journey, things cost money and adverts and sponsors pay the bills for UA-camrs, disappointed at your lack of care, if you don’t like what people do then unsubscribe and don’t bother writing something negative on their timeline. Got nothing nice to say then don’t say anything… ✌🏻
Your new life interesting but Jordan....try New Bern, NC and the area. Why aren't you flipping sailboats? Or doing refits for wealthy people who can benefit from your expertise? Chattanooga crime 4 times Miami crime rate. Try the coastal areas.
Welcome to my home state of Tennessee. I really appreciate ya'll flying the colors and the tire cover, truly patriotic as you make your way across this beautiful country. Thank you for the enjoyment you bring to me each and every weekend. Be safe.
Love my Saturday morning coffee with Atticus. So nice to see the US. Thanks for sharing.
Me too. Me and the cat snuggle up and tune in to see what beautiful place Jordan is carrying Isabella to.
Enjoying this series. Getting to see places I've never been and some I haven't seen in decades.
You two look more relaxed since selling the boat. Good to see alot less worries. Keep searching for the perfect spot to call home.
❤ well… I couldn’t recommend anchorage’s on Malta but I did tell you about Georgia State parks and the hiking at Cloudland Canyon… you documented it perfectly and at last I can say, “I told you so!” Well done SPA, well done! ❤
Love seeing “ mom” again. What a beautiful, gentle lady.
Chattanooga is a beautiful city! My little sister lives there. She’s a NICU nurse at the children’s hospital. Funny about the lights at the waterfall. Enjoy your travels!

Have to say you guys are fun to follow no matter where you are!!
Such a cute family. I just love you guys 🥰

Nice to see young Patriots. Been following your adventures for many years. Props to you…

You've just described the USA for the most part.
Another Chattanooga native who returned a few years ago after being gone for over 40 years. Retired and moved back from the Baltimore / DC area. This is not Chattanooga. I live in limestone Tennessee about 3 1/2 hours from Chattanooga. I love this area.

I got so excited when I saw Chattanooga in the title! If you ever want a tour guide let me know. :) I know lots of beautiful spots all around Chattanooga. Excited to see where "home" ends up being!
Great video , And again yall put a smile on a old face..
Thanks!
Over the next few winters I'm trying to figure out a winter destination. Might check this out.
One of my all time favorite cities!

I think you need a sign on the travel home.. "Atticus 3"...

We always chose Beareguard when riding the carousel!
The crime rate in Chattanooga is extraordinarily high as is the crime rate in Tennessee in general
Ytuly beautiful footage! Nice drone work too!
Calvin and Karen watching from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦.. Beautiful Countryside..
Hope all goes well..
Looking forward to next video..

'It's like a disco. . .OOOMPH, OOOMPH, OOOMPH" cracked me up!!
We left CA for a one year contract job in Tupelo, MS (think Elvis)... stayed for 18 years! This region can really grow on you.
Thanks for another great video!!✌️💙

You guys seem happier touring on land
Did a quick Zillow check; plenty of homes on 1/2 to 2 acres under $300k. around the city. If you can tolerate humidity, this could be a possibility.
Buy raw land, building your own dream house. Great video! Georgia sends your kids to college for free if they have a B average.
Come visit Spokane Wa! We have room for your adventures!

Good video 👍
I'm sure those places have a lot of lakes, but I can't picture you guys living in a land locked state.

Love it
GOD BLESS and STAY SAFE!!!!!!!! Isabella is SO Adorable 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
2020-I was traveling cross country in the real world while news media was spinning.
See Sewanee, TN 50 miles north of Chattanooga
😎
Tennessee ranks 42nd and healthcare.
Ha ha the Internet, so cool! 😎
Did you take her to hostess park?
Thanks!
Chattanooga, didn’t they make a song Chattanooga choo-choo? 🎶🎵🎼
Andrew sisters 1941
Ruby Falls was very disappointing
Your videos are always original and of high quality. Thank you for your ability to inspire and surprise!⛸🐕☄️
What about Maryville?

Those barriers are for adults. Your Two-year-old could get right through there.
It's just 'nooga
Have you thought about moving somewhere that doesn’t ban books or maybe a place where your daughter has the same rights as a boy?

If you want guaranteed reproductive health care go west. Or live in a red State and take your chances.
nice to see you all back online...
Your wife looks like she is about to explode. The baby is really growing.
Do a little more research on Chattanooga, it's daylight side is very attractive, the but the night side has been ranked in the top 10 places not to be after dark.

Why bring politics into this?

Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning 😂
Exactly what I was thinking... and certain someone would write : « get a life! » 😂
I like Tennessee better than Georgia.
