I think you might have blown the chance of having Festol as a sponsor. Totally worth it. It cracked me up. 🤣 Keep up the amazing work of art.
They TOTALLY want me. Thanks!
I laughed so loud the neighbours complained . 7.59 on the clock Festool hammer.
Must be a reason ?
Best use of a Domino ever!
Haha thanks!
Not only a fantastically beautiful piece of furniture but a well done video presentation!
Thanks!
Man those tool-to-music crossfades are so satisfying.
The handles don't just look a million times better than the brass, those handles just look brilliant on their own. 👍 Work of art, well done!
Thank you! I like them better too. The brass was fun to work with but those handles looked a bit generic even if they didn't make a clown face.
Men, have I ever been jealous of someone's workshop and talent.. keep up the good work, dude! Really amazing work and content.
Considering you most recent build, I have to say that you’re the most underrated content creator in the furniture building space!
The domino joiner part killed me. I did not see that joke coming
I have done so much with so little for so long it is nice to see what a professional woodworker uses. Fantastic work.
Thank you!
As usual your work is mesmerising.. The combination of hand tools and power tools makes the video so relaxing and enjoyable.. FLAWLESS work
Thank you!
Beautiful wood, beautiful tools , beautiful shop , beautiful table . The natural beauty of wood species is a marvel of nature that no man should ever take for granted . Perfection Blake !
Thank you!
Good Day
I am not usually the kind of viewer that has something negative to say about anyones project or content. If I don't Like it I just don't watch it.
But I watch UA-cam a lot and I am Subscribed to over 100 Channels and most of them are woodworking channels, I enjoy watching you wonderful Creators Do what you do best, I try and Watch all the videos you have to offers and even go back to the first videos when I find Someone's work I enjoy. That way at least it teaches me something that I can use in my Basic Projects that I attempt.
Now I realise that you work hard for your channel and Viewers and that you deserve every tool that you own be it you bought it or it was sponsored.
I watched this video and it upset me Greatly that you treated that very expensive Festool in that way (Using it as A Hammer - There is a tool for that), many Woodworkers would love a Tool like that but can unfortunately not afford it, If you do not like the tool don't Buy it or accept it as a Sponsor.
Wishing you all the best in your future Projects.
I spent my own hard-earned money on that thing and guess what, I can do whatever I want with it.
What an awesome hall table. Wonderful choices of veneer & your Glowforge then 'did you proud'. The design of the legs & the method of mounting them was superb. Your change of mind on the door handles was a master stroke & the finished work was superb. I am so glad that I stumbled on your website & will be tuning in for more. I am a retired, disabled Senior Master of Art (teaching) in South Australia where I majored in Sculpture (mainly wood), Design, Graphics & a few others. With my disabilities I delight in watching people who work with wood as it helps to take my mind off the constant pain. Cheers, Don from South Aust.
Your work is so insanely good, as is your documenting of the piece(s). Probably the best lighting of any woodworking channel on YT-your raw pieces of wood practically look finished already.
Thank you!
The plywood handles are perfect, hated the brass ones. You were so right to change them. Beautiful cabinet. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
Thanks! I agree, even aside from the clown face they were pretty generic looking. It was fun playing with brass though and I'll try it again on another project.
That turned out amazing brother. Another incredible piece by the one and only !!!
Thanks Bart!
I don’t think those koa handles could’ve turned out any more perfect. Well done Blake!
Thanks John!
Yeah, this... is amazing. Pure beauty!!!
Thank you, for creating these presentations and sharing it. I'm learning from you.
WOW Real wood working. No pocket holes I didn't think anyone on youtube knew how to survive with out them! Well done!!!
Thanks! I use pocket holes all the time when its appropriate.
Add spoke shaving. Gimme an hour of it.
Dang you, sir, I've never felt so relaxed.
You are the 21st century's Bob Ross.
Haha thanks, I’ll take it! “Happy dead trees.”
Makings of a new tshirt..
HFS!! that's NOT a table! That's ART that looks like a table!!! WOW!!!!
Thank you!
That is the most beautiful. Stunning and perfect piece of furniture Íve ever seen. Double wow! You are truly talented!
Thank you!
Looks amazing. A tip to try out..... when doing euro hinges using a square like you did works but sometimes with slight deviations in the wood/cuts or what ever they can be out of parallel. (yes I know they are adjustable) What works better for me is to use a level or straight edge to line both or even more hinges at the same time. Guys give it a try if you like, if it works for you cool if not thats also cool. Its just a tip for people to try
Keep on keeping on
Regards Conor
Love that even the hammer hits are on time with the soundtrack. Great work, and yes, some people notice this level of detail! It's not surprising given the level of detail in your woodwork! Bravo!
Before UA-cam I would never have had a window into this and the many other incredible worlds of talented people. It is just beautiful to watch the craftsmanship. His carpentry tools are gorgeous, not like my rusty things
Thank you!
the domino. I LOLLED.. also the handles are perfect
Thank you!
“Every tool’s a hammer!” - Adam Savage. And this is a fabulous piece!
Thank you!
Ha ha I love the use of the Festool Domino. Hilarious 😆
;)
LMAO ..died when he used the festool :))) such a good move
Haha thanks!
The handles are genius, throwing a shadow better than you could have imagined...
Man this build raises you up to high levels of Art! Wow
Thank you!
I dont do any wood working. I stumbled upon your channel a while back. Just love to watch the detail and heart you put into your work. And the video production has got to be half of your work. Great job. And thanks for your content.
Thank you!
The domino mades my day 😂😂😂👍thx... As usual very nice project and pretty cool video.regards from Germany
This is like old quality Germans handwork. Greets from Germania. Good Job 👍🏼
First time viewer. You are truly a master craftsman...a lost art. Anyone fortunate enough to own a piece of your furniture, will own a piece of history.
Thank you!
That looks great. good call on the "handles" or whatever.
"finally found a use for my domino joiner". Hilarious!
i just cracked up when you said you were going to use the domino joiner , and you used it as a hammer . . 🤣 ha . . 😂. ha . .😆 .ha , that was a complete twist in the tail. you are a craftsman with incredible skills. thats for sharing. bravo ! ! !
Haha Thanks!
The bit with the Domino killed me! Muhahahaha!
just on the professional nature and production value of the intro..........seen it before on channels that turn out to be winners....subscribe
Thanks!
Beautiful work as always. If U want to minimize coping saw blade twist, use a brad point bit, make a small pilot hole in the waste exactly adjacent to your saw kerf which will allow a 90° blade turn to address bottom of waste easily. Works for waste from both pins & tails.
Good tip thanks!
This one project sure pulled it's weight in justifying your Domino!
Hello Blake,
Fantastic design!!! I love the blend of hand tools, power tools and of course the glowforge. Wonderful Craftsmanship.
Thank you!
Not only are your designs gorgeous, your filmmaking skills are awesome!
Thank you!
Blake, this is amazing. I like the asymmetry of the mountain and clouds against the sunburst rays, which appear mirrored... art. Also, my keyboard and monitor would like to thank you for causing me to share coffee with them this morning with the Festool trick.
Thanks! I owe you a keyboard.
Absolutely beautiful!! You are truly blessed to be able to design and create beautiful furniture.
Thank you!
Wow. How am I just now being recommended this video? You are crazy talented. Well done sir.
Thank you!
I really appreciate your workmanship and videography. Genius. Kudos Blake.
Thank you!
just saw your video and new to wood working. I enjoyed your video thanks.
Thanks!
I was watching and thought "Pretty cool, he certainly knows what he is doing", but jumped on that like button as soon as I saw how you used your domino machine!!!!!
Haha thanks!
The Domino hammer...I'm dying!!! Great piece!
Thank you!
That piece belongs in a museum! Great work!
Thank you!
Now I also want to have a Domino, I'm pretty sure my biscuit joiner cant do that trick!
This deserves 100 million views. . . You guys are such an inspiration. Keep up the hard work
Thank you!
Great design, it's a really beautiful piece. Always fascinating to watch the bluiding process, the precision, the patience. Fine editing, as always. Thank you for this video.
Thank you!
Incredible Design and workmanship.
Thanks!
First impression, Blake...
I could watch an hour of you just chiseling.
Thank you!
Such beautiful wood. The whole piece is gorgeous. Well done.
Thank you!
Yet another BEAUTIFULLY shot video, coupled with a masterful build. Doesn’t get much better than that! Great Job Blake!
Thank you!
That Domino tool is amazing, I almost feel out of my chair arn't you glad you got that one.
“I just made a clown face”. Lol.
Stunning as always Blake.
You have a serious talent, beyond the average woodworker. Beyond most in fact.
This piece turned out gorgeous... I am supremely jealous of your tools... Cause they get to hang out with you.
Haha thank you!
Your Domino read was savage. I absolutely adore this piece. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you!
"Props" for job well done. Perfection
Thank you!

Thank you!
Me Weber
I see Santa Cruz is getting much needed rain.
Be careful out there. Love your work !!
Awesome design and craftsmanship.
Thanks for showing us how it’s done.
From Missouri
Thank you!
When you pointed out the clown, and saw it, now I can’t unsee it! 🤣
You have created a beautiful heirloom.
Thank you!
Your work is absolutely gorgeous 👍! My journey with precision started in '73 at the tool and die institute....you have a wonderful skill of precision combined with being an artist! Thanks for sharing your craft!
Thank you!
Amazing piece aside, every time I watch a video from this channel I feel like I should be paying for the sheer cinematography.
Thank you! You are welcome to pay me if you want, that's what PATREON is for ;)
That domino scene did make me flinch.
You're welcome.
That domino burn though haha !
Haha I just haven’t had much use for it until now.
Turned out gorgeous! Much better with the wood handles.
Thank you!
Domino tool... laughed so loud!
Dame brother I've been following you for a few years now and your craftsmanship just keeps getting better and better love the hammer also funny stuff
Thanks!
Art in action, thanks for sharing
Thank you!
one word... Stunning.
Thank you!
Awesome build, Blake. Looks great and stunning dovetails, bridal joints and the lot. It also goes without saying that I'm getting a domino for that perfect joinery.
Thank you! Tell them I sent you so they will sponsor me haha
I love how you built this table and I think your idea for the handles is genius and works perfect for this piece. If I would have to find a flaw it would be the screws for the handle. They are on such a prominent spot, it would have been cool to hide them under another layer of the same veneer. But I'm not a furniture maker and have such a respect for your work....I shut up :D
I have to agree on the handle screws... and the brad nails holding the back on.
Otherwise - workmanship is outstanding.
I also used glue to hold the back on, not just brad nails. I used screws on the handles so they could be repaired, replaced or refinished if/when desired.
Just found your channel, by chance.
Such fantastic work you make! The ones who get one of your furniture pieces is one lucky person :)
After a long day of prepping for thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, I’m in bed with my iPad, relaxing and enjoying your beautiful video. I’m hosting my family here at our home in Aptos. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, neighbor!
Thank you! Happy belated holidays!
love how you apply the domino jointer
Haha thanks!
Truly sensational artwork. 🇺🇸
Thank you!
Now that's an absolutely gorgeous piece of art. Beautiful man.
Thank you!
Your cinematography is top notch. I've been a subscriber for quite some time but have so many channels I watch, it's hard to stay in one spot. It's like watching an advertisement for woodworking tools as you select each tool to use. They should pay you for your videos as you show off I such understated style your tool collection. The Greene and Greene "feel" to the piece and work style is amazing. I'm so glad I found this video in the Sea of UA-cam. 👍🏻
Thank you!
I really enjoy seeing how versatile festol really is. The scenery on front isn’t really my taste. But the design is spot on. Nice craftsmanship.
You could always turn it around backwards lol
Woodworking wizardry! Awesome!
Thank you!
That Festool part got me!
Beautiful piece man, stunning is actually more appropriate. Congratulations 👏👏👏
Thank you!
It's funny how some mistakes turn out to be breakthrough genius, while the very planned out touches like the pulls turn out to be disasters! Awesome build and "detail recovery!" DD
Thanks!
STUNNING!
You people with your expensive Festool Dominos. How can us normal folk do the same work without it?
Seriously, I think some of your dovetail techniques might help me get a little better. Beautiful piece.
Wow I had to watch the Festool moment 3 times😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔. I couldn’t take in what I was seeing 🤷♂️.
But anywaze very enjoyable video. Still not sure about the handles🤔 . I’m always amazed at the amount of kit UA-camrs have but it always comes back to a hammer and nail . (or festool and nail). 🙃.
Oh and thanks for such a varied amazing production!!!
My Lord the peasant has used the Domino as a mallet
King: Watch your words kiddo. He who possesses a Japanese spokeshave is someone not to be dealt carelessly 😳😳
Not many people know that Domino joiners also function as projectiles for self defense. It's actually what they were originally designed for.
I love waking up to a new video from you sir 👍 that domino bit killed me 😂
Thank you!
I'm not going to lie, I cried a little seeing you cut the large slab of walnut. However, this is a beautiful piece. Oh, and I laughed loudly at the "clown face". The new handles look amazing. Thank you for sharing the build and the mistake. New subscriber!!!
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning piece sir.
Easter egg 4
Thank you!
Hokey music, man. I do appreciate that you turn it down when you speak. Many UA-camrs don't do this and it makes it very difficult to understand them. Turning up the volume only raises the volume of the music.
Beautiful piece, nice work!
Fascinating, I think I learned more about dove tails watching this, than in 5 tipps and tricks videos about the topic.
Beautiful piece of furniture you build there
Thank you!
