It's truly a pleasure to see a professional 'cabinet maker' at work. There is nothing wrong with mass produced furniture that is well made, however, what sets it apart are those who take time out to make exceptional pieces of rare art that are in themselves; unique. I am sure your wife as an artiste herself was no doubt surprised and enamoured by your beyond price; gift. As for being on sale re the other RARE only 2 of a kind pieces, I would add that someone will end up with a true collectors piece of art. Thankyou for taking the TIME to show us how this was put together and the extent of the patience, love and determination that went into it to make it uniquely; memorable. 👍

Blake, I just wanted to say "Thank You". I've always been handy and a DIYer. When quarantine started I found myself just starting random projects around my house. When my wife asked if I could make an cooler cart for our patio (you know, for all the parties we were having) I said "probably" and started looking through UA-cam videos. I watched a few and realized I had a lot of the tools people were using for woodworking projects but I thought I would never have the space. Those videos led to other videos and then finally came across your 2019 Shop Tour video and said, "that's it, I can do that to my garage!" Because of your inspiration, I found a new hobby in woodworking. It's all I've been thinking about and working on for the last 4 months. It's kept me sane during this insane time.
I was wondering what happened and why you hadn't posted in a while, and now I know. I am even more inspired now to work on my skills to eventually build something as amazing as this cabinet. So thanks again, and keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to the next video, and take your time if it means we get to see you drop something epic like this!

It reminds me of my aunt who passed this year... she was an artist and painter and this cabinet looks like one of the desert landscapes she would draw. Knowing her she would have incorporated turquoise somehow and maybe copper flakes veins or mica.

If I had the money I'd pay twice the price for these. Absolutely gorgeous. The time, love, and attention to detail that was labored really show on these unique pieces. Thank you so much for sharing the whole process! I've been looking at these on your website for the past 10 minutes and can't take my eyes off of them. Sigh.... A girl can dream!

32:03 the first time you place the finished cab on the table as you prepare for final assembly... the otherworldly golden shine of that interior made me gasp out loud. As with the other glamour shots you took. I am in awe. You are a master craftsman sir, and I thank you very much for sharing your beautiful work with us.

Such a beautiful work of art I wish I personally new someone that was a woodworker.
I'm so fascinated by woodwork, I feel that every time I want to start learning I hit a roadblock, I got some beautiful planes but they need resharpening which means getting stones and a honing tool and learning to do that, I got some nice Walnut off cuts to build a box but now I need to learn how to resaw - it all seems daunting, but I guess that's how we learn !

I don't normally comment.... Let's not even talk about your skill level. What amazed me is that you covered every tiny detail while editing. The choice of music over the shop sounds. Can't imagine the time invested. Incredibly impessive!!! You have a truly beautiful mind. Please keep doing it.

The 890th reaction, I don’t know whether you read them all but I hope you do.
You call yourself a Woodworker but you aren’t. You’re an artist, an inventor, a creator.
I live in Europe, the Netherlands. Completely overmarketed by IKEA stuff in all houses I visit.
Not ever I’ve seen such a beautifull, handmade, cabinet!
Bye the lathe! I’m sure you can create things with it, others can’t.
    My deepest respect!

I loved the section of the video where to cut out the curved vacuum form the timing of the music and cut were perfect - its clear you thought and worked on it for a while.
