  • *This video is intended to be watched with HEADPHONES. I put a lot of time and thought into sound design.*
This cabinet is AVAILABLE FOR SALE... For details visit my website: www.weberwoodshop.com
In this video I build two identical free-standing cabinets. One for sale and one for myself to keep. I use a router templates to cut veneer into a "mountainscape" marquetry design. Enjoy!

The term you are looking for may be "fitted intarsia" to describe the laying of timbers into others in a solid form. It differs from marquetry in often describing inlay that is then carved or shaped to give additional relief detail...

It's truly a pleasure to see a professional 'cabinet maker' at work. There is nothing wrong with mass produced furniture that is well made, however, what sets it apart are those who take time out to make exceptional pieces of rare art that are in themselves; unique. I am sure your wife as an artiste herself was no doubt surprised and enamoured by your beyond price; gift. As for being on sale re the other RARE only 2 of a kind pieces, I would add that someone will end up with a true collectors piece of art. Thankyou for taking the TIME to show us how this was put together and the extent of the patience, love and determination that went into it to make it uniquely; memorable. 👍

Blake, glad to see a video from you!! All I can say is I am in complete awe of your talents. You never cease to amaze me. First the cabinets themselves are breath taking, secondly the video production(from the music to the videography), third the story itself and how you shared it with us. Please keep it up. Your work inspires so much. I am looking forward to the next video.
