This is great! I love you guys are trying different screen options to replace the old idrive. CarPlay is a really nice upgrade and makes for a better daily driver, I’m curious about how it compares to the one Vehicle Virals has. Keep up the great content

i bought a cheap aliexpress carplay unit for my e60 and everything worked great except my steering wheel and chairs no longer had power. trying a mr12volt unit now. waiting on that.
After clicking the parking sensors button, does the CCC menu with the original image immediately appear? When you start the car, does the screen have the BMW logo as in the original? Does it automatically connect to CarPlay?
Is it possible to change the language of the original CCC system to something other than English?
Which cord is the idrive cord? I assembled my screen, but idrive didn’t show up anymore
When you click heated seats or changing the vent settings, does it automatically pull up the ccc menu or do you have to switch back to CCC to change those?
You have to touch the screen and it'll go back to the BMW Idrive
so my CCC unit does not send any signal to the fiber optic loop but the screen work. will this product work?
Do you have functional audio?
@@E60_M5_Outlawz nope, no sound, no chime, no nothing. When I check the fiber optic cable on my amp it does not have the light
I did not catch in the video but does the I drive button allows you to control the car play mode? To avoid touching the screen when you drive. Thanks!

Hallo!I get one of this for my car!its working very good except audio its loosing bass. I try in the equalizer but dont work.Do you have any solution?
We don't use the screen EQ just set the cars audio on the factory side and then the device being used, let us know if that works!

Yes, it should work just fine
does anyone know if you already have to have AUX or bluetooth option in ur original screen for this to work? or can you not have those options and install this and connect to the bluetooth and it should play through the speakers?
You do not. Bluetooth comes with the unit so does aux

@@E60_M5_Outlawz reason being is because I have a 2006 e60 and it doesn't even have the aux option so I don't want to install this and have no sound

Since posting this video, we have ran into issues with using Apple CarPlay and the audio dropping out after approx 2 min. Is yours the same?
@@E60_M5_Outlawzhave you gotten anything figured out? I just set mine up but no audio comes from Apple CarPlay or anything… the original radio keeps playing even when I change into the apple car play screen and everything.
@@ruvimplyushchev1773 Did you have AUX enabled? Check in your idrive entertainment to see is the AUX signal is here other than the FM/AM, if it's not there you need to code the function in using INPA
