What I love about these albums is that in contrast to Kiss, Ace just played in with everybody else, accepting thier style. This is real show of his absolute talent, playing a completely different style, and fitting in seaminlessly, whilst sounding like Ace. Some of the best music. Pity it was not so well produced or marketed. I remember in the day, the sound was too generic like a lot of similar bands of the time. Now it stands up better.

I have heard this was not released back in (from 1988) 1989 because Ace was starting to get flack about Todd's songs becoming more popular than the ones Ace sang and released as singles.

His latest solo cd "Opposite Gods" was released independently in April 2010. In June of 2012 he released a video single on UA-cam of his single *"Cold Beach", filmed on location in the California desert. The video was shot and edited primarily by Vancouver producer Brian Sword. Working by HIMSELF. Releasing videos on myspace?!?!? LOL

Pity it was not so well produced or marketed. I remember in the day, the sound was too generic like a lot of similar bands of the time. Now it stands up better.
It's my understanding that on this record, Ace was deep in the throws of addiction, so the other 3 band members had to take lead.
