Saw him play live in NJ a couple of years ago at a rock festival. INCREDIBLE show, Ace really tore it up, played a shitload of old KISS and some of the best soloing I've seen.

As in all things in life, it's all about personal taste. Some of these negative comments don't seem to realize that.
Ace's guitar work sounds steller and one has to admit doing a cover of a Clapton song takes titanium balls. I love how Ace does multi-layers to bring it out full.
Did he engineer & produce this himself? I can't do that. Can you?
However you get your rocks off slamming Ace, you must admit he knows his way around a studio.
I for one am happy I am still getting new music from one of my guitar gods of my youth. I am 52 and seen KISS at the age of 13 back in '77.
Not to be a cry baby, I've lived a good life, one to be envied, but I have Congestive Heart Failure, which the average person succumbs to within 5 years. It's been a year and a half so far.
Personally I applaud Ace Frehley for all his triumphs in life, and admire his endurance to overcome and put his personal losses behind him. I hope to see much more from him.
And to you young people who are thinking of picking up a guitar, you wanna go for a ride? Then Come Space With ACE!

Great, great guitar work, suits Ace's particular signing style. This album is very good actually, outside of one or 2 weaker tracks. it's an 8 out of 10 for the album and a 10 for this cover version.
