Thank you. I have endured several training sessions on this as I am expected to teach using this from Monday but I did not understand and was left more confused than ever. You are very clear and I am now going to watch the rest of your videos. Thank you!
Great video but you only touched the surface, you should do a part two and dig deeper. I think assigning a notebook page from Assignments in Teams is a better option because you can grade it. Please do a more in-depth look at this
Kevin- I live in the Seattle area and am a teacher in a large school district on the Eastside- I'm really struggling with all of this!!!!!!! but thank you for your video - I've been through so many district trainings-
Thank you! This video is amazing! I have sent it to everyone on my team and it has been THE ANSWER to all my notebook questions - a blessing for a teacher trying to get the teaching from home down in a pandemic!!
Helpful beginner video. Would love to see more in-depth content about using OneNote Class Notebook. For example, what is the most effective way to insert Word documents into Class Notebook? How to use Teams Assignments feature etc.
Nice job with the tutorial. I need some help with something. Is there a way for me to teach a live lesson while having the ability to watch any of my student's do their work using their own device, like MS Surface? If so, is there a way for me to not only view each student's work, but to comment/correct their work during the live lesson? Thank you.
Thanks for MS Teams tutorials! Is there a timestamp when students update their notebooks? If I assign something in their notebooks, will I be able to tell when they completed it?
thank you so much Sir kevin i have learnt a lot , i have refreshed my all concept ,i am a teacher and running my own channel as following you as well. keep it up good work sir ,Stay blessed
Good video for beginners but l was hoping u would show the main differences and advantage s between using a notebook through teams or just setting up a Notebook independently.
Thank you for the videos I am a teacher and was using Cisco WEbx for conducting the class . In that I could share my pdf file and overwrite and highlight the contents on top of pdf . also lines, pointer etc. In MS teams I can only share the pdf screen I have opened on my laptop, how to highlight and mark like a pen-like in Cisco
Hi there this is great, thank you! Could you point me in the direction of a video guide for using Teams and Class Notebook aimed at students, please? 🙏

Excellent video, the facility of having an area that I could see and edit all accounts but that each student could only see their own was exactly what I was looking for, so thanks a million! The facility to insert written and audio feedback is fantastic, but my question is can students upload/record audio (that I can then correct)? As with many MS Interfaces, it's a bit clunky and some of the terminology is a bit perplexing, but the good most definitely outweighs the bad!!
This is perfect! Love your videos. They've helped me a lot. Just yesterday, I was having a TEAM meeting on how we're going to use One Note within my team. My question is, what is the difference between a Class Team and a PLC Team? Do they have the same features? I'm a teacher instruction coach and want to help my teachers in the process of their classes and groups. Is One Note different when you use it with your students from when you use it with an Educator Learning Community? Thanks again!
Hi Sandra - thanks for the note! With a Class Team, you get a Class Notebook (like this video shows) and an assignment/grades pivot that allows you to keep track of student grades. I have a video coming out on Saturday on this. With a PLC (Professional Learning Community), you get a pre-populated OneNote (i.e. template with a bunch of example content) that everyone can edit that helps you organize your PLC meetings. The Class team is intended for students and teachers while the PLC is intended just for teachers and administrators. Here's some additional information: blogs.technet.microsoft.com/skypehybridguy/2017/11/20/microsoft-teams-in-education-impacting-our-future/
