About this game:
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay
The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

Michele Morselli I guess they can be alright... the thing is that it's good if you have bad stats. If you try breaking the game and have a ton of everything, it just lowers everything.
Well, probably, but when you have a ton of everything, probably libra with soy milk won't fuck the all situation.

I don't care what it takes, I need visual mods to not disable achievements as soon as possible. Malf mod is vital to my happiness.

It's tedious, but you can do that if you wish. Run the resource extractor tool, move or rename the packed folder and it'll load from the loose files. Overwrite the corresponding files from the resources folder with the same ones from the mod and it'll load the mod without disabling. You'll need to repeat the process any time there's an update, so keep the mod folder around
You can have visual mods without disabling achievements. Some of them even detail exactly what you need to do. The short version being: you need to mess with the game files.
What is this Malf mod you speak of? Sounds great.
you can just install mods the old fashion way, download them and copy them from the my games forlder into the resource folder and done

I managed to beat this challenge by getting The Clicker item and becoming The Keeper, so that now I can actually heal.
The Caves Boss fights were the true test, I remember getting some bullshit like 2 Gurdy Jr + 2 Mr Fred or 2 Vis Sister + Lokii in runs where I had Holy Mantle + Sun Card + Blank Card where Its just not possible to win

I had to win the ultra hard challenge twice because i had mods the first time --'

I also had do to it twice because I lost some of my progress after one of the updates.
But I beat it on my first attempt the second time because I found flight on the first floor, and found either Book of Revelations or Satanic Bible in The Depths.
You know what would be cool to have In The Void (Floor)? Amalgamations. How about of mix every type of spider, flys and monsters in one?
This Challenge is the fucking spawn of Satan. Curse of the lost + Curse of the maze got me running around in fucking circles for 10 minutes even after you cleared the damn floor

Without Leech and/or Pyromaniac, this is near impossible.

Also you could have exited the game then re-enter it.... it would have restarted the room and reset your position

No it won't... anything that drops hearts *on the ground* (Hierophant, Squeezy, Mr. Dolly etc.) won't work, but you can still get HP from items that give you hearts *immediately* (Balls of Steel, Satanic Bible, The Nail etc.).
Also, f*ck this challenge. I beat it by sheer luck of finding the library with Satanic Bible, and I think it's literally not possible to win without something that gives you health consistently (or Holy Mantle), which is a horrible design choice.
There were some amazing dodges in there, dude!
I had to restart this challenge for 30 minutes straight. Finally got Tech X and steam rolled it with magic mush crickets head.
You could have lived... if you had quit the run.
In that situation the only winning move is not to play. :P

Unless they've changed it, squeezy will NOT drop 2 spirit hearts. Items that _drop_ spirit hearts such as squeezy or the relic don't function at all. Only items that directly assign the heart to your health such as satanic bible will work.
Similarly, The Lovers, Hierophant, and Hematamesis won't drop any hearts, but Balls of Steel, The Sun, Full Health, and 2 of Hearts will still heal you

This challenge is bad, for me, because it starts out so slowly. It just ends up being boring, staring the first floor over and over again, spending like ten minutes fighting champion enemies with basic damage and having no idea where you are. It's not fun, like most of the other challengers are.
I don't really mind it though, because it is an actual challenge. It's just...dull.
And by good episode I mean, jesus fuck.

Look, I don't know who was the guy that did it, but please add this episode to the "Trainwreck playlist" whenever possible, just for the ending alone.

I was sort of listening in on NL while I was different tab, and all of a sudden I hear a really enthusiastic NL repeating "HE CANNOT DIE, HE HAS TO FART" and I just started cracking up. It was even better when I re-winded and watched why he said it.
Squeezy will not give you 2 spirit hearts, because the spirits hearts are dropped on the ground, therefore won't appear.
I like it. The fire in my belly, imbued by my ancestors hunting lions on the African plains, has been ignited and you've done that. And now I know what it truly feels like to be alive and I thank you for that, but I don't know if I can ever go back. There's been a state change and the ultrahard challenge did it to me. You can't condense gaseous rage into a more solid form, nor should you want to when it is as constructive as this is. Little haunt my ghost friend, spectral form of my corporeal rage, deal damage proportional to the fire that I feel deep within my solar plexus. Destroy the enemies as you yourself have been destroyed and reincarnated as a vengeful spirit. I demand it, I demand blood. Your sacrifice will not be in vain. I will sit here as long as is necessary for you to slay a boss that has not really all that much HP all things considered. But his HP does not outpace the temerity of my rage. You will not shoot me; I cannot be stopped. And just remember when you watch this episode who created this. It sure as fuck wasn't me...

I was so lucky in this challenge (Sun cards everywhere and a clutch Magic Mushroom). I've done it in just one try, I felt like God, then I lost 21 consecutive runs.. I love and hate this game soo much.
I'm just pissed he didn't hold R after picking up Cursed Eye literally in his first room..
I would watch 300 episodes of Northernlion gets salty at the Ultra Hard Challenge.

Oh, I've been waiting for this. After finishing the Ultra Hard challenge (library is the way) I was dying to see NL do it. I wasn't even mad when he got Small Rock from the first tinted rock. And no, NL, Squeezy does not give you two spirit hearts. As well as the Hierophant card.

Unless you have beaten Hush at least once before, your run will end with Hush ending. If you have, then it must be a bug.
