Saw Gerrera is a character from the animated TV series "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels". He's there to serve as a canonical tie-in, to lend a certain kind of legitimacy to everything.
I don't mind them not paying out with a key piece, but I believe it is fitting for the DWTD Angels to be the Fallen versions. Just to add a bit of immersion and also give you the chance to meet them outside of the Mega Satan fight
The personality of Forest Whitakers character in rogue one (Saw gerrera) was something along the line of extremist freedom fighter driven to despair, paranoia and brutality due to the losses he has suffered to the empire. These losses include most of his body hence the prosthetic arm, legs and weird morphine inhalerer. If you watch the clone Wars and Rebels animated series (which are canon and not expanded universe) you will know that he also lost a sister to the empire which is probably where he started down this dark path. In my opinion he has more personality than most of the characters introduced in force awakens, which i'll admit isn't saying much, but he is more than just some cool armor (which wasn't really reminiscent of samurai armor).
NL, I swear, you have to watch Spotlight, Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo are basically gods and everything about the movie is goshdarn great. I personally treat it as the dark brooding twin brother of the 1994 classic "The Paper" starring... oh, that's right, Michael Keaton. I guess that year Mark Ruffalo was busy in "There Goes My Baby". No matter! Spotlight is so very, very good.

Some say the natives of the land worship a giant raven which steals the sun as punishment for man's trickery, although, I believe Stephen Harper taxed the sun too hard so it's left the country entirely!

You ever skied on the glacier? Because girls walk around in bathing suits. Just because there is snow around doesn't mean it isn't fucking hot. Snow reflects sun right back are your pale white ass.
I don't know for sure if succubus increases spider damage when you stand in it's aura, but my intuition says yes, based on the fact that it does modify the base damage as displayed in missinghud. Compare with something that gives a tear effect that increases damage, which does not alter the missinghud number, and I would guess doesn't affect spiders either.
Regarding the "alt" path (not sure why you keep calling it that when it's just a bonus floor): I fully support you just doing the runs to the end, whether that be Mega Satan or not, and using the portal if it appears. That's how I do my runs, even. I ignore it unless it shows up on Blue Baby/The Lamb/Mega Satan and jump in it if it does.
Real Life Lesson: meconium is the first tarry black poop babies have after being born. After a few days it transitions into regular poop. It's sticky as heck and hard to clean up, so pro tip - rub your baby's butt with Vaseline, coconut oil or olive oil. It'll help with those first couple of horrible poopy diapers!
I personally don't dig HWTSD. It feels hollow. James Hetfield's vocals still sound as weak as they have on every other album from the past 20 years. Doesn't have the same grit. And personally I feel like extreme metal genres have evolved so much that I have no interest in listening to a new album trying to sound like it was written in the 80's. Listening to XM Sirius Liquid Metal it is really apparent when you hear crushing song after crushing song (bands like hatebreed, Lamb of God, Machinehead, Dillinger Escape Plan, Meshuggah, etc.) and then "Spit out the Bone" plays. It sounds cheesy by comparison. I am only saying this because I want to spark a discussion with someone who is a fan of the album. I haven't met anyone in real life that likes the album that I can talk to about it. Everyone I know either doesn't like it or is just apathetic towards it completely. haha
