Reedy Fen - Part eight - Carp fishing

Its the second week of September 2023, summer is over and we are in the throws of Autumn, things are starting to change.
This week I talk about carp getting pre-occupied on bloodworm, how that affects the fishing, how they go about cleaning themselves during feeding and after.
Location and carp communication.
How it's almost a game between you and the carp in catching them off guard.

Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.
