Grest vid and awesome fishing and find. Years ago i had two similar lakes that i fished under the radar (obviously nowhere near as good fish as you had) the adrenaline of the unknown is amazing. I miss it. More like this please.

Yh man absolute quality , poor rangers don’t know how obsessed us carp anglers get, especially stumbling across an incredible bit of fishing like that, I think any one of us would risk getting caught by rangers for that sort of fishing. Congratulations though mate, mammoth effort and great rewards

Ive been doing the same for the past year.....0 fish so far. Only 26 carp to go at (known) only us locals fish it, and there's been 26 fish caught and that's it. changes constantly. Hard work, but exciting!

This highlites a massive issue in the uk fishing. The uk there must be 1000s of lakes like this that 1000s of anglers drive to France to fish yet we have these lakes in the uk. However far too many are simply no fishing or fly fishing only what's wrong with all types of angling on huge lakes. There is a uk holiday industry in the waiting but because of red tape or silly rules people would travel to France instead.
I know that filling ,I help stock a lake 30 years ago when cemex were around ,in this time the carp have grown big as I had to have a little go and my god don't they fight , I started feeding them on trout pellet and after 3 week added bollies,and since fishing it going in at 7 pm and leaving at 7am ,I've had 2 commons to 28lb and a28lb 9oz lin and all the fish have not one mark in the mouth,they have never seen a hook ,and I've never had carp fight like it ,and won't stop fishing it till had one of the bigger one 😂
