The OP has many virtues but was blinded by love and unfounded assumptions. As the saying goes, it is not what you don’t know that kills you, it is the beliefs you assume are true that actually are not. It is normal to psychically live within your belief system BUT you periodically have to wake up, look at the data, question then test assumptions. Certainly from the time she started going out to party without him and stay out later and later he was stupidly blind to obvious red flags. Men survive by THINKING - looking coldly at facts, noticing hitch facts do not fit your belief-narrative, which of the partners stories and claims are implausible. The real world is relentlessly logical. All true things are consistent. Things that do not fit are either improperly understood or much more likely mean your belief system has key flaws and requires re-examination
Very cool story! He took control of his own life and didn’t let her manipulate into anything! She truly had enjoyed the sex and cheating behind his back!
