This is crazy as fuck, I wouldn't give her shit, given what I know personally, you forgive them once, and they'll do it again and again, I've said this before, and I know in the long run, they'll do it again.

I love happy endings. It is a good story of a man who finally quit loving his selfish wife, and found a good woman to love.

The whole concept about having casual sex with other men and still claiming to love their husband is something I could never fully grasp. They almost sound so convincing with their weird logic and it's frightening to me.

Compartmentalization, validation, self-interest and lack of respect.
Love of qualities and things provided, not the person as a whole. “What can the person do for me?”
      And then everything becomes transactional.
It’s at best “love without respect”… which has no value.

So many people commented that he still loved her; and that he starts to cry whenever her name is mentioned. Wrong. He still loved, and is grieving for, the person and marriage that he thought he had. It no longer exists. There is nothing to work on. There is nothing to save.
BTW, it doesn't matter if it's your body. The two partners give their bodies over to each other when they say and take marriage vows.
And never cover up what the cheating partner has done. In this story, he should have told the FIL the truth immediately. And the FIL should have been rebuffed every single time that he tried to advocate for his daughter after knowing the truth. The FIL, the MIL, and the husband were all in agreement that adultery was a deal breaker before any of this happened.
