Paternity fraud needs to be criminalized like any other fraud. Send a few 304s to prison and the rest will stop.

Yes it does! Mandatory paternity tests. I would rather have those sweet puppies than the pattern he married. He should have investigated her BEFORE he even dated her. What she did was pure evil.

Actually, it is fraud on a government document. It is just hard to get "liberal" DAs to prosecute it.

The children are ALWAYS the true innocents. They are almost always the ones hurt the most in paternity fraud cases. I know a now-retired Air Force General Officer. I am not going to say the year this happened to preserve some privacy. He was with his wife along with his son's inlaws waiting for the grandbaby to be born. Later on, after the baby was born it was clear the baby was not the man's grandbaby and the son left the hospital with his parents. This man said he spent almost all of the rest of that evening and morning holding his crying wife and the son was almost catatonic. The General got up early that next morning and went to see his daughter-in-law and looked at the baby. He spoke to her and reminded her that everything was about that precious baby and made a deal with her. If she would give his son an easy divorce he would help her go after the biological father for support. She did as asked. Sadly the biological father was not a good man and deserted her. I never discovered what happened to the child, but I was told CPS finally got involved and forcefully took it away. Oh, the son remarried about 3 years later and is still married to a fantastic girl.

usually I comment on the story itself. Today I wanted to change that - I like the display or morals of the main character to divine the truth, the willingness to go through the pain to come to justice ( of a sort), and that even if you are comfortable in your relationship keep looking for red flags.

That's why parents from both sides helped in kids getting ready for marriage dating was considered as prostitutes back in the day.
That's why the guy would go to her house on a call and stay on the front porch all the time and if the parents went somewhere the daughter and so called possible husband was with them at all times.
Now if his parents did the same thing he would not have been in the same pickle he is in today.
Lol parents are parents for a reason how we have broken traditions over the years.
Now no one can seem to stay loyal to each other.
It will end more and more un stories like this in all reality

    • @eleethtahgra7802
      @eleethtahgra7802 6 місяців тому +2

Yup. Theres a reason...why parents have to know the gf/bf of their kids. N their family background as well.
Some guys....n girls reject it, calling it old fashioned.
Well, u got a 40-50 years old judging a 20+ years old whether s/he a good spouse material....
The....unworthy wont like it. The cheater type wont like it cos theyd be exposed.
When a proper Man ask for the daughter hand's in marriage, he went there with confidence. The said daughter also visit the Man's family with confidence...
Of course, there are stories where...the Man was considered unworthy by the daughter's family due to his family financial background. If that were the case, just skedaddle.

This is nothing out of the ordinary. One out of five kids in NOT the biological child of the "father".
Gents, women will justify their behavior with strange excuses. A woman will admit to having a baby from a better-looking guy than her husband for the benefit of HER CHILD. Yes, that's right... her CHILD. If the child is a boy, the wife will feel confident that he won't be cheated on because he will be better-looking, like his biological father, and won't be SETTLED for like her husband. Yes, she SETTLED for her husband... and cheats on him because of that. She doesn't want that to happen to her son.
It's not surprising how Karla explained her infidelity. Had OP decided to return the favor and cheat on her... she'd be LIVID! It would literally "kill" her to know her husband is getting in bed with another gal. It's a common reaction when a gal wants an open marriage. She's fine until her partner finds another gal to sleep with. As soon as that happens, she's complaining how he's too emotionally attached and needs to close the marriage back up. It's all for FEAR that he's found her REPLACEMENT.

I made a mistake i will never do again. I gave my ex a second chance he cheated on me. I have a rebound boyfriend. We met at a bar. He saw me when i was down in the dump's. He does not verbally abuse me like my ex. But my ex and i we get along as just friends. I have not slept with him since he cheated on me. My new boyfriend He was understanding and lovingly. He forgive me. He let me go to learn my mistake. He is 61 and i am 37. I will never leave him again. He is a firefighter and i am a burn victim. I love my fire fighter very mutch he makes me very happy and lets me go to work. Not like my ex that kept me in the house. My ex thank god he did not beat me though. I know my new boyfriend. his job is very dangerous. And we get a long great.

Paternity test - make them mandatory. Cheating and paternity fraud should be made a crime, with financial penalties for the appropriate party, not just the husband e.g. alimony. We have verbal contracts, we have written contracts so what is a marriage contract - absolutely nothing, so why get married? Marriage is simply an agreement to allow one partner to do what they want and get rewarded, usually unfairly to one party or the other when it is dissolved. Assets should be based by proportionately working out what each brought into the marriage and they should leave with what they originally brought into the marriage. Then separate bank accounts should be maintained throughout the marriage. A joint account should used to pay the bills. Husbands should pay for everything and provide half the remaining income to his wife when a wife stays at home after having children until the children are of school age. Stop ripping husbands and fathers off just because they’re men. After all women are strong and independent aren’t they? So I am told.

She moved in with Steve. Steve is their bio father and should assume that role. OP did the best possible, considering the kids are still relatively young and won't be raised on a lie by the bio parents. Paternity fraud is the way to go for all men in this situation, even if they lose in court. These men should appeal all rulings and sue again including the lawyers and judges who have all conspired against men who have been forced to keep making child support payments to women who lied about their children's paternity.

There's always a holier than thou hypocrite that think of the " interests of the kid ". Society condone cheating and paternity fraud because they don't hold the responsible people accountable. Mothers aren't encouraged to remember names or contact of everyone they F, and they aren't encouraged to try to get the real dad involved because it's just that easy to just grab the closest fool and pin the thing on him.
He was victim of paternity fraud. He should care about the kids only if he desires so, if he doesn't, instead of pointing the finger at him maybe you should consider pointing the real dad and the lying mom? After all, beside a paper that says he's married and another that claim he's the father, 2 lying papers, he technically has as much connections to the kid as a teacher or whatever. Why not point the finger at the teacher then? Why not the judge or that guy on the bench? Why not pick anyone? It's in the kids interests too... Or respect that he is the first victim and maybe try not shifting the blame so that society as a whole take steps in the right direction instead of encouraging fraud.
