I absolutely love this revenge plan. Let people catch Melissa and Jeremy at it.

Confrontation and divorce would have led to OP having to give up HALF his assets to the cheating heffa.

Interesting story and plot. That said, just arranging for their wife to be caught, divorcing her, moving on with his life, marrying her college rival, and having a family with her, leaving Mellissa barren and disgraced, would have been a sufficient punishment. Threatening to sue the golf course to fire the golf pro and crushing his career would have been sufficient punishment. Injuring Mellissa's parents was a major downside. That said, the thoughtfulness behind the plot was a unique aspect of this story.

They raised the cheater. So they get caught in the storm! They are still alive and now have humility. That is a win!

The remote control that he placed in he's car would have been found very easily, since it would have had to be bolted in place in order for the accelerator to be operated.

The part he fakes his death is absolutely stupid and useless. Worse, it's counter productive. Dude left his company and all behind. What a useless development.

@@kdeville87 she got more than half. She got everything except the offshore account. Dude was a recognized businessman with a company, giving advices in a clubhouse. The offshore account of 1 million would be pocket money.
Ohhh she lost her money to charity and he stole 2 millions... Still sound shady and cheap. It's a pathetic move.

Interesting story. The major drawback was the hurting of Melissa's Parent's. But such an elaborate way to get out of a marriage.

Really smart to jump into a new relationship while you’re going through catching a partner cheating and the dissolution of your marriage. Makes perfect sense.

You hurt a lot of good people by faking your death, very selfish. You would have gained more in every respect by just getting a divorce. Revenge just for the sake of revenge, is so stupid. A man not worthy of respect.

This one was entertaining, a bit different to the typical "wife cheats, man discovers her, moves the money and rents a new place, she begs him, he leaves her and he ends living happy and divorced, random girl that had been helping him from the beginning of the story became her new woman, happy ending".

The mc being a crying oversensitive mess that want to die... Yeah...no... That give the impression of a needy diva, very far from the super likable image the author wants to convey. He's just a drama queen in the first half.

Probably on the spectrum or never got closure of the dead of his parents etc... Also he is just a golddigger married the girl for the money and not for love.

@@Sheppard3rdI have to agree with you about it having to do with his parents but I wouldn’t call him a gold digger. He had his offshore acct, was a businessman who was apparently loved by a number of people, had POA over her trust so could have made it all vanish, and lastly if he was in it for the money he would have stayed, just turned a blind eye to her indiscretions. It just doesn’t add up.
