I used to live on slaughter Beach. I don't know maybe 15 to 20 years ago off of misspillion inlet jetty, if you're heading out into the bay there's a wood wall, rock wall and there's islands right off the south side of that wall. During a certain time of year I forget it's been so long ago, there's plankton that just fill up the bay like a syrup almost. They come into the bay and it's so thick with them, at night time anything that moves makes a light trail and I used to fish for stripers (Rock Fish) right off those little islands. I could catch easily 25 :to 30 in an hour and back then the size limit was like 28 inches or something and these were all about 18 to 25 inches, throwbacks. The amazing thing was every fish you caught was a light show! Amazing footage if you can ever get there at that time of year with your cameras, hit episode guaranteed. Picture neon green glowing tracer fire in a black sky, that's what it would look like! You could actually target the fish when they were swimming they would leave a little faint light trail so you could throw your jig out in front of them. Amazing, and coolest night of fishing I ever did in my life. I do remember it was during the horseshoe crab run, when the horseshoe crabs are on the beach breeding and laying her eggs because that's what the stripers were eating you could see the fish tails sticking straight up out of the water. They were sucking up the horseshoe crab eggs like vacuum cleaners. Amazing fishing. I lived right on the beach there just south of the inlet and I would pull my 10-foot Sears v bottom with a 9.9 Johnson into the surf and and fish all around that jetty and even run out to the deeper water on good days. it' was good times.
I have fished there for 47 years. We use to be some of the only people that did. Now with the tourists on the uprise always people around. Love the video, and the spots. Thank you for not spot burning. GRADITUDE

Great video Robert ! All your videos are awesome. Great editing . I thought that was so sweet going that you caught snapper blue while flying the Drone !! There is alot of great fishing there in Delaware. In the back Bay of Rehoboth and Indian River, for flounder. And some ok striper fishing in the Indian River Inlet on the incoming tide alone the north side with live spot. And then going south on Route 1 to Ocean City Maryland. You got some good flounder fishing there also. And on the south side of the inlet, outside along the rocks for Sheepshead & tog. And you can't leave out the striper fishing ain't bad either..Thanks again for taking us with you.

What a beautiful video Robert !! I do not know the USA, but I'm sure if one day I'll go, Delaware will be a place to know, and FISHHHHHHHHHHH !! Bravo and congratulations again !!

Hey Robert, first off I am a huge fan and an avid follower of your channel kayaker and fisherman. If you are ever on the East Coast again near Savannah Georgia, there is a place that I think that you would love to check out called savanna Canoe and kayak. It is a small locally owned kayak shop that carries all sorts of accessories and also does kayak tours. It is nestled right off the Wilmington river which is a wonderful fishery loaded with flounder, redfish, trout and other species. Check them out when you get a chance. Great people, great service and knowledgeable staff. Tight lines and be safe out there on the water and the road man.

It was in the middle of no where and i thought i was about to fight a guy at a gas station.
One last thing. You should try to find a local and go up to the San Juan islands. Half of it is in Washington. Other half in Canada. There are lots of activities like saltwater fishing, crabbing, and some freshwater fishing on a couple of islands.
